I stayed at Rumourss for three nights and four days. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. We spent hours sitting out on the balcony or relaxing by the pool. The beds were comfy and the cleaning staff came by the room every afternoon and made it absolutely spick and span. The resort is pet friendly, so even if you don’t have pets of your own you’re sure to spot some very cute fur babies around the premises. The resort’s pet dogs are absolute cuddle bugs, very gentle, and love to play. The food is homely and comforting - though if you’d like some more variety there’s several options close by. The staff were lovely and looked after us very well. My kudos especially to Ravina who went out of her way to make sure we were alright. I will be visiting again. :)

We had planned our next visit to lonavala and booked rooms at Rumours skyvilla. We are glad , we booked our stay at this eco friendly resort offering a panoramic view of the forests and ghats.The resort offers two types of villas – four sky villas and four earth villas. Sky villas are built on an elevated platform offering a panoramic view of the forests and ghats. Earth villas, on the other hand, are on the ground level, facing the swimming pool. Loved the decor and ambience of the room, It had various amenities such as tv, air conditioner, toiletries and so on . The breakfast was delicious with poha, umpa, toast , tea , chocos and so on. The staff got hot steam idli specially for my daughter. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful .

Recently visited this property and stayed in their Suite room here. The rooms are clean and the best part about the suite is they have buddha paintings which was so peaceful. The bathroom of the Suite is elegnant with all black in color and attached to it was private pool. Only suite room has a private pool inside. Their sky villas have a great view of mountains from the top and they are double decker as they have a bed and washroom and above they have a small space with a small bed. The place has 2 pools. The food was nice though. Hospitality was nice, staff was humble!

The best thing about this property - the concept of sky villa and that it’s pet friendly and allows dogs. Staff is very friendly, limited options on the food menu but all freshly prepared and quantity is really good. On a breezy day, one can enjoy a quiet afternoon reading in the balcony of the sky villa and gazing out. The view is not too great but you can see the hills beyond and with occasional clouds drifting, it still makes a pretty picture.
The pool and the garden area is very small but neatly maintained and a good place for small dogs to prance and sniff around. Mine had a great time sniffing each corner. What the property should definitely focus on is a bit of maintenance and cleanliness. There iron bars on which the sky villas are perched are rusted after the monsoon, the stairs leading to the villa need scrubbing, the glass panes of the villa also should be cleaned as dust has gathered. The property definitely has a lot of potential if the cleanliness part is taken care of.

Its only for a stay and there is nothing within the premises to enjoy. Its built in a altogether different concept which is good and Nice and clean place with a very good staff. Check out time is 11am it should be changed to 12.30pm so one can visit some good location in lonavala and come back before checkout. Cost of food is very high almost triple the actual value. Food price can be reduced as the room charges are enough with low food price.

Just a two hours drive away from Mumbai, we are digging the countryside vibe of this resort, tucked away in the ghats of Lonavala.
This eco-friendly resort has a unique design for its villas. Sky Villas are built on an elevated platform offering a panoramic view of the forests and ghats. Pool Villas are the ground level, facing the swimming pool. Suite Villa with Private Pool you should've definitely check it out. The entry of Private Pool is through the washroom which makes it comfortable.

Had visited this place for a staycation! Easily accessible from lonavla station with autos charging 120-150, and good part is, they know when you tell them rumours, so we don't have to explain them the location to get the pricing or navigate to the location. And it was indeed relaxing, The staff are really courteous and keep a check if we need some thing. Food is served to the room, which was ala carte and breakfast we have option to go and have or get it served to room. Food here is decently good, and there are restaurant near by that can be tried as well as they allow food delivery via any app. So there is no restriction on outside food Since lonavala had a cool climate, we opted for the in room heated pool, which is a suite and only 2 such rooms are available but it was worth it! It can be used anytime and keeps you warm.

It was overall good. Nice place to chill out with family and friends. Place is animal friendly so you can take your pet too on vacation. Small but beautiful property. Not much spread in breakfast but what ever they serve you is good. Also for lunch & dinner they prepare food on demand & whatever we had ordered it was worth.

Me and my wife came to enjoy a weekend here. Initially rooms were not properly cleaned but after requesting at the reception, they were prompt enough to clean the room well. The best part of the room was the heated pool. The location is great but you should have your own vehicle as online cabs are not allowed in lonavala.
