The location of the hotel is very good,,it's rite on the main road may be a few mts from the city bus stand and rite opp hotel Rama Krishna. The rooms are spacious and big enough for a comfortable stay. The design of the rooms are unique and add to the overall ambience. The bathroom are big and provide basic toiletries. The in-house restaurant serves Veg food and has attached bar. The food taste and service js good and the price is very reasonable. Few things are missing are may be a small fridge, in-house breakfast, etc. Overall it was a good . If you are looking for a quick stay over in lonavala this could be the rite place. Note: there are no pool, playarea, balcony etc.

It's was a short break for me & my wife from regular busy life.....The Hotel is best located inside city but if you are looking for a stay in lap of nature than it's not a choice for you. Interiors are classy.....Food is ok...Must to order is cheese chilli toast....Staff is helpful....Good Parking space...McDonald's, KFC & Yoko Sizzlers are at 200 meters walk...wax museum is at 3-4 KM...

Interiors are good with legends paintings printed on back wall (I got Marilyn Monroe on mine) but front wall is a Full Mirror wall and I am not comfortable with this design....Also some wear & tear is not patched....Bathroom drapes are not clean...

Overall must try ones a unique experience....

Had a very bad experience. Constant Electricity issues. Did not have electricity on the day of check out since 7am till 11am. When I called the reception, they told me that there is no electricity everywhere. When I went to complete the formalities I realsied that only my room had issues which I expected them to tell me when I gave them a call in the morning itself. They did not know who answered the call in the morning and said technical issues were the reason.
Of course, the rooms are clean. But no point if there are constant electricity problems.

Stay in this hotel was the trip spoiler. The room was damped and stinking. Very high charges for the food which was not edible at all. The only positive thing was that the location, very near to market and easily approachable.

Dear Ankit, Thank you for your review and I am apologetic if we in some manner 'spoiled' your trip. With regards our menu card rates, the tray breakfast we serve has a tag of INR 99 that includes a dish (eggs to order / veg options), beverage, goblet of juice, toasts and preserves. Our menu card has rates mentioned as INR 130 and INR 180 for Veg and Non-Veg main course dishes respectively, again believing we are pretty reasonable as compared to contemporaries, in terms of taste (ingredients) and quantity. Food not being edible is questionable, because no complaints were raised by you and the clearance brought out from your room came with no left overs in it. With regards the dampness, a couple of rooms do have these small damp patches (outside the shower area) which are being dealt with on priority. I have put our side of the picture for our guests to do the math. We were still honored to have you come stay with us and would feel privileged if we are allowed to play host to you for your next visit also.

We entered this property thinking that it would be a posh and well managed weekend getaway. For 3000 per night in Lonavala we expected something better. The rooms were tasteful however the room service was not upto the mark. Delayed food & rude kitchen staff put us off. In the morning while checking out we were wished by a very cold front desk staff which included the owner of the property aswell. They had this "just get outta here" look on their face.
They called themselves a Boutique hotel and having stayed in boutique hotels before it doesn't live upto its that term. However the only saving grace was that the food was nice, the room & bathroom were clean.

I found this hotel really convenient because of the location and the interiors really cool.. but the reason for the two stars is the frequent water cut! And slow room service!! The water cuts made me spend hours in the washroom frustrated waiting for water ! Really annoying!! And there’s no room service and no reception

I've been here last weekend and trust me this hotel is worth of every penny.

Check in and check out was smooth and real quick. Cleanliness and ambiance was excellent. Washroom was super clean with aesthetic bath fittings. Linens were hygienic. Room service was good and quick, well behaved and ready to assist with smile.
The decor of the room was outstanding though the size was average but it is spacious and gives you the feeling of comfort.
You can easily identify the thoughtful concept of this hotel through the decor, ambiance and the theme(white and retro).
The food was the highlight with a brilliant array of items prepared with great finesse.
We didn't have any problem to locate this hotel at it is located at the main road/market.
The front desk staff are very helpful. We also had a short conversation with Mr. Rahul Sethi-owner of the hotel and were very pleased by knowing the passion he has for this property.
Only suggestion to Hotel owner is if they can introduce refrigerator in the room and I would be glad to see it on my next visit :)
Overall it was a nice stay with Cosset and very much recommendable.

Was a last moment trip, looked all over the internet, all the hotels had roofed their prices. Decently priced hotel, in the centre of Lonavala and accessible to everything including food, your local delights and even a wine shop just underneath the hotel.

Its overall a great place to stay and what this hotel has to offer is great clean rooms, good bathrooms and a decent staff to cater to what your needs maybe. Each room has a wall with an artist on it, I got Led Zeppelin.

There is a small coffee shop on the first floor where you have enjoy an evening meal with your company and food here is not bad and also affordable prices.

The hotel has ample parking space and the interiors are very contemporary and you will surely be impressed at what you get with the price that you pay.

Since it is in the middle of Lonavala market and if you are scenic person you may not find what you are looking for. So if you are a #ViewFromTheRoom person then this isn't the place for you.

Will definitely come and visit here again.

Our trip was totally destroyed because of the hotel .Our booking was from 26 Oct -27 Oct 2014, since our bus arrival was at 4:30 am we called the hotel one night before the arrival, requesting for a pre check in but we didn’t get any response since no one picked up the phone at the reception.
We reached the hotel by 4:45 am; no one was there at reception desk only the guard was there. After some time hotel’s manager “Mr Danish” came & he told that as per the hotel policy Check in time is at 12 noon. We agreed to his point & requested him for a pre check in & we were ready to pay any pre check in charges. He told that hotel is fully occupied, during this conversation one of their guests checked out the hotel in front of us by 5 am. We requested him to accommodate us by 9-10 am, but he was not ready to listen. After that he left us at reception, expecting us to sit there for another 7 hours. After paying a sum of RS 4309, we were not offered even a glass of water.
After that we called the support team of online booking website(through which we made our booking), support team person also spoke to them, since we were looking for a cancellation (it was impossible to sit there for 7 hours with my wife). But they denied to refund any amount as per their hotel policy. Since we already paid the full amount & as per hotel policy there won’t be any refund.
We waited in reception till 7 am, since it was not possible to sit there for another 5 hours, we left the place & went to some other hotel.

Dear Mr Vivek, I am not at all surprised reading this review of yours. When you or any individual does a booking for 'Cosset', online or offlline, we mention a clear check in and check out time. Your arrival on a Sunday morning at 4.00 am and arguing to get a room knowing that the hotel is full, primarily sounds really absurd. As you mention you tried calling up on the desk phone number and you failed to get through for some reasons. Nevertheless your confirmation voucher also states a cell phone number. Least will I believe that you tried calling up on that number as I personally use that number. On your behalf I had a makemytrip representative call me at 4.30 am on your date of check in, I did answer his phone at that odd hour, to reply to your query of refund. So you trying the hotel numbers reflects another flaw. An early check in is only possible in case of an availability, in case of none being available, I wonder how any hotel would help. Your room remained blocked on the 26th (12 noon - 11 am of 27th), irrespective of you showing up or not showing up. If you knew your time of arrival was at 4 am and on a Sunday (knowing lonavala remains packed on Saturday nights) a person like me would also book for the previous night, and not leave it to chance like you did. You don't go barging everyone to accommodate you at 4 am, whether or not rooms are available. Thank you for posting your valuable review.
