The Deluxe Cottage for 4 of us was quite spacious, comfortable and most importantly very clean. There were fresh towels provided in the bathroom and the hand soap had a very good scent. The food at the restaurant had a good variety and the starters were quite impressive (soup & tandoori platter). Service was top notch.

We visited this resort in October 20 when the Corona scare was just getting a bit low and we desparately looking for an outing nearby. We took just the right decision to stay at this place instead of the earlier tried and tested like Fariyas and Della.
It's outside the town and beyond the tiger points which makes it really far away from the noise and crowd.
The management was absolutely brilliant in helping out right from the booking to being generous in upgrading our rooms. They had taken all the care related to sanitization at restaurant and other common places.
The food was only veg but must acknowledge that it was really tasty and with lots of veriety every time. I hope my pics will prove my point.
The view was just amazing. And given a chance I would visit here again.

Me and my friends had a very pleasant and chill out weekend at this location. The place is just awesome with its location among the clouds and at top of the hills, the only sound you hear over here is that of the birds chirping around which actually makes you feel away from the city and rush life. The food is as welcoming as the staff with loads of variety and full of deliciousness in all their meals. My non vegetarian friends were so happy with the vegetarian food that they didn't feel a need to eat non vegetarian food during our entire stay. The cottage ambience is a mix of nature stay in small looking but huge from inside and a deluxe as well as luxurious stay. Hill top cottage is a must try and a highlight of the resort. There's just so much do with a pool, rain dance, DJ/ karioke on weekends, bonfire during winters and so many indoor and outdoor games with best spots for enjoying the surroundings that it makes you feel out of the world. Lonavala hi jana hai toh why not stay 1500 feet above lonavala. Will be visiting the place more often.

We wanted to take a break from routine Covid life at Mumbai. Enamored by the lovely online review and promise of excellent mountain view, we paid 11250 rs for 1 night via MMT. There was no temperature check at the entry. Our room was in very bad condition with no mountain view. It was dirty and full of spider webs. When we asked to change our room, the hotel staff was very rude and said MMT bookings get only such room. The only positive thing was the excellent view from some location. Food was pretty average with limited choices. Plates were not properly cleaned and food particles cud be seen in various plates. Scary:( There was not much cleanliness in kids activities room either and the sanitisers bottles were mostly empty. The property is not very maintained and has seen better days... i dont know may be due to COVID. The room has only one lock and no latches so were little worried on the safety front as there are other private villa as well inside this property. There were also dogs seen inside property. We have stayed in many properties in lonawala, this has been our worst and a simple waste of money:(. Also the check out is pretty early at 10.00 am.. Not worthy at all if you are not getting good view. . Go for branded hotels only in these corona times and certainly not this one..2 Star only for location..

Service is not good Staff is not sufficient and stay is not valu for money not providing sufficient drinking water in room. If you need more water then you have to pay for 24 hours stay providing one bottle per head. Food is also very stereo type

Cloud 9 Hills Resort is at a great location with beautiful views no matter which room you're in. The resort is very well maintained with the best staff managing it. My friends and I had a wonderful experience. We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday and also have a little reunion after a long time and we had the best time here. The staff was super accomodating to all our needs. The buffet had an interesting menu everyday and the food was delicious!! The location is so perfect, all the tourist spots were close by with easy access. We hope to come here again in the future!
PS: Do check out the pools! They have some great views too :)

This is one of the worst resorts you will find anywhere in the world. Please avoid it. Listing out some of the bad experiences
1. The restaurant service is worst. If you don’t book under AP , u will struggle to get food in the restaurant under Ala Carte. Both the restaurant managers are eager to say “No” first then think. We have experienced it. Had to wait for over an hour as they clearly said that buffet is their priority.
2. The hot water didn’t come for over 4 hours and then after so many requests they rectified something but the flow was very thin.
3. The washroom has a foul smell all thorough, we didn’t get a room change as they said resort is full.
4. Suddenly they added 10% service charge on the food order from room
5. They arrange hard drinks (legal ?) but charge 4 times the rate
6. There is no cupboard in the room
7. The bathtub water flow is in the opposite direction of the water outlay hence the water stays in the tub
8. All veg items , thats okay but the available items in buffet is not worth 200 rs even
9. They didn’t allow me to take very little items from restaurants (buffet breakfast) to home even though I was completely drenched and wanted to change cloths at the room. So had to eat in wet cloths
10. There is no food options outside hence decide carefully if you want to go for it.

If there is one word I want to describe my stay at Cloud9 it will be Serene. It's so calm that sometimes you need to click your fingers near your ears to make sure they are working. For Gujarati family like us there are 2 things most important for our stay 1) Food 2) Hospitality and Cloud9 Team scores 10/10.
For Food it's Pure Veg and has a variety of good dishes. Abhinadan from the kitchen team was always on toes to make sure food is top class and served instantaneously.
The staff is very good and looks after your requirement in the best possible manner. What I loved about the resort is mostly Owners Somesh, Neeta, Ashish & Munmun are always around to make sure that you have a lovely stay and well taken care of.
This Trip was a super breakaway from the Last 1 year of home Quarantine.
You should not miss this place for sure.

Beautiful place , away from crowd , Misty and quite . This resort is 10 mins from Lion’s point so . We crossed blinding fog for 2.5 KM stretch , it felt hair raising and fun at the same time and few sharp hair pin bends suitable for SUVs. We got a cottage on top of the hill from where we could see mountains and valleys and winding roads . The resort is full of trees and flowery plants which also attracts sun birds and bees . The service was quick considering the large area the resort covered . Room was big and with high ceiling . Washroom had bathtub with running warm water . The resort serves only veg food but the food tastes so good , you might not long for non veg at all . There is a nice non veg cafe while coming from the lions point . We had one of our lunches there . We also did a long drive till Ambey Valley which is 8 Kms . The road to Ambey valley is just awesome , winding through forest , open farms , very scenic and smooth . I would always come back to this place as it give you the break and the mist you ping for .

What a location, what a staff and what a customer service!!! Cloud9 Hills Resort nailed in every aspect of hospitality.
To begin with we stayed with our families for 3 nights and 4 days for a destination wedding. Right from arrival till departure, Cloud9 team accommodated us like their own family and surpassed our expectations in customer service. Be it Yeshvant, Sudhir, Sahu, Narsingh, Manoj and all the staff from Restaurant and Housekeeping, they were just on point for all of our needs.
These staff members were kind, generous, and had an attitude of never of saying “NO” to any needs or demands. They made it so easy to co-ordinate with the team, and with a lovely smile on their face. All points to staff members and customer service at Cloud9 Hills Resort.
The location is extremely beautiful, where you can witness the mesmerising Sahyadris from outside your room. We were lucky enough to get the rooms from 204, as they had really beautiful views for sunrise and sunset. This is a gem of a location and very well maintained by Somesh, I thank them for taking care of us and assuring everything to be on point.
