Checkin easy and friendly. Continental breakfast basket left in room daily. Property is very nice and inviting. Grounds are well kept. Cabin is bigger than expected. Everything one needs is there for you. Shower was nice. Each cabin includes a nice Gas Log fireplace for heat. (Big plus as we attempted a wooden stove for heat for a Glamping Under Canvas experience- Brutal). Cabins were well priced at just under $200 a night as Glamping Tents were @ $400-$500. We have travelled the world and have stayed in budget hotels, luxury hotels, and now Tents and Cabins. I have to say these cabins were the best place we have stayed and the price was right!

Not going to lie, was a little nervous about staying in a cabin. Quickly changed my mind. It was nice to get away from everything and everyone at the end of the day. Staff was very helpful, We ended up going to a couple restaurants in the area at their recommendation. I actually enjoyed my time there better than staying at the hotel for the next three nights. If I get to this area again, I will certainly look them up.

We made a reservation but, due to a death in the family, were unable to go. We contacted the owner a week in advance, explained the situation, and cancelled the reservation. Like others have said, this is where the problems began. The owner said he would refund our money IF he could fill the cabin during our reserved time. So far…..no money has been refunded and emails not returned. From what I can tell by all the reviews of this place, it’s nice enough if everything goes well. But you WILL encounter resistance and very little help if there are any complications. Be forewarned.

This trip was a birthday present for my husband so I booked the deluxe cabin. The description was good and what sold me was 2 gas stove fireplaces and the glassed in porch. The fireplaces did not work. I was told that when I checked in. The porch, I was told,, could not be used as it get very hot in the daytime and very cold at night! All true I found out. The continental breakfast was a joke. We got 2 pieces of fruit, 3 single serve boxes of cereal, one pint of milk and one pint of OJ for2 people for 4 days!! never replenished. We went to the store and got our own stuff. No hairdryer or iron. I guess they figure you don't need to dry your hair or iron your clothes to go to the park! One of the bathroom sinks had the cold water turned off as it was broken. Luckily there were 2 sinks. It was cold at night so we had to use the electric heaters that were in some of the rooms. Not the main room though. The living room had 2 old recliners that were not clean and one had rips. The only other piece of furniture in the very large room was a small dining table and a loveseat. The small little cabins looked adorable and I know they had working gas stoves. Stick with one of them and come prepared with breakfast food you can microwave or go out for it!

My husband and I thought we had carefully searched for the perfect adult accommodations to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We rented the Bed/Bath that appeared online to be a chalet/cabin. Upon arrival and check in we were escorted to the side of the main owners residence to a dark room that was attached to the main house. It was not a cabin at all, merely, yes a bed area with a bathroom. We were so disappointed and quite upset as this "room" was no more than someones remodeled sun room with no windows that opened other than an oddly place one at the bottom of a wall, that I assume put them in compliance with fire code. There was a narrow walkway to the door area that did not have a light accessible to turn on when arriving back in the dark. The walkway and door area was filthy. The door area I will add also has a half door with a sheet of some sort hanging there that covers the entry to the owners residence. Very creepy! My advice to the owners is to put an actual picture of the "room" online that shows that it is ATTACHED to the house if you intend on continuing renting it to people. My advice to other potential people looking to book, do not book here.

Liked · Relatively close to GNP. Good setting & atmosphere initially. Well kept grounds (except for our front porch railing). Cabin was rustic and rustic woods setting. Plenty big enough for 2 people. Front desk staff helpful and very freindly. Adequate parking. Clise to major road. A few good restaurants and rafting services in the area. Decent basic breakfast brought to room. Disliked · TRAINS!!! ABOUT 10-12 trains and train whistles every night. Train is 2 blocks away and VERY BUSY in the nights coming through mountains. DO NOT book if you value sleep. Incredibly small TVs, that lost picture often. Also hosekeeping was terrible, never dusted tables, never cleaned sink, never swept floors. Tons of spider webs in windows. Covers were old, stained, dirty...as well as ratted and torn. Front porch railing rotted and falling apart. Last day they didn't even make our bed or bring towels. Management needs to put a better foot forward, as cleanliness and house keeping on top of the loud trains made a below average experience.....so much worse. They need to get new covers, clean out windows of spiders, fix railing, and get bigger TVs; all things that would be relatively easy fixes. Superivising hosekeeping is also needed.

Don’t believe what you read on the website! A clever marketer has upsold the property and our experience was that while the “chalets” are indeed pretty, they do not live up to the description on the website, and the horrible service cannot be overcome by rustic log furniture. “Meticulously cared for” accommodations should not have broken blinds in the bathroom opening a clear view to anyone in the house next door. They should have a clean coffee pot, not one with the last guest’s coffee still in it. They should not have splashes of unidentifiable liquid on the front porch the guest has to avoid every time they enter their cabin. The floor should not feel grimy when walking in bare feet. Any one of these things would be enough to question cleanliness standards, but when you put them all together, the feeling is one of disgust. To “cater to couples” there should be at least two of everything. We had one coffee cup, one bottle of juice, and one almost comfortable chair. The other two chairs had rope seats and even with three pillows, were impossible to sit on. Couples might want to enjoy a drink together enjoying the beautiful surroundings, but there are only plastic or paper cups and no ice. (I tried to go back to the office to get some, but it was as abandoned as it was when we checked in.) Couples would probably prefer a bathroom wall that goes all the way to the ceiling, blocking personal noises. The gas fireplace might have been nice, if it were more than two feet high and sitting against a wall where there was nowhere to sit. There was nothing romantic about the room and the promised handmade quilts are clearly machine stitched and of the same quality you’d get at JC Penney. “The best, and most friendly hospitality” would imply you would actually see the proprietors. We waited nearly a half hour in the lobby, pushing the call button and trying to call the phone number, with no result. Eventually, a teenager came over to give us the key to our room and our preprinted receipt. He informed us that the Wi-Fi was spotty, which was a gross overstatement. In Cabin 12 there is NO Wi-Fi, none, nada. We tried with three different devices and couldn’t get logged on with any of them. There was no one around to help with anything. I tried three times, in both the afternoon and evening, to go to the office to remedy one thing or another and there was never anyone around. “An extended breakfast of muffins or pastries” is actually one of each, two boxes of Special K, two granola bars, an apple, an orange, two bottles of milk, and one of juice. The pastry and muffin were both wrapped in plastic, cold, and basically inedible. Let’s just say we stopped for an early lunch down the road. In addition to the above, it was difficult to deal with the only outlets being on the floor, mostly under furniture. We had to open the windows to cool the room down with the result of highway noise in the room. And, there are no sidewalks leading to the cabin so you have to traipse through wood chips past the other cabins with your luggage. The bottom line for me was that I could have overlooked many of the little things, but the complete lack of any kind of service had a huge impact. I was surprised because the Silverwolf had such high ratings, but our experience did not warrant the same from us.

Silverwolf staff were personable and helpful. Location was perfect as we were going into Glacier National Park every day that we stayed at Silverwolf. The bed was comfortable, shower was hot, and the basket of breakfast/trail snacks that’s provided every morning is perfect for a morning in the park. The price was right as well.

We had to cancel the reservation due to COVID19 and did this within the cancelation period. But the prepayment has not been refunded yet. No reaction at all from the owner. Very disappointing. Fraudulent business practices.

We set out with three of us. Myself, my girlfriend and my mother. We got two cabins and it worked perfectly. Though we were exploring the park most of the day it was nice to unwind on the front porch. The rooms were cleaned each day and they even fixed out stove as at night it is pretty chilly. It was just a pilot light that was out and they fixed it in minutes. The internet is poor and you really need to go to the front office to get a good signal but you’re probably not there for the internet anyway;). If we ever make it back to Glacier I’d stay here again.
