The rooms are tiny, they are ok for one person but two is really ridiculous. One small closet. That’s it. They only put one large towel and one small one on bathroom. The breakfast was unbelievably awful , two cold poached eggs on cold toast with undrinkable coffee. We went site seeing all day , returned to our room at 5pm and guess what , room had not been made up. Called reception and the woman who I spoke to kept repeating like a machine , I pass on your message. I said do rooms here get made up and she just kept repeating I’ll pass on your message. Honestly this is a third rate rubbishy hotel. Won’t recommend nor come back
At the sort of prices they are charging one would expect the bed made and the bathroom cleaned. AVOID THIS PLACE There must be somewhere better. whoever owns the hotel has failed to train staff adequately or at all
I booked this hotel for two nights. I asked upon arrival if there was the possibility of staying an third night. I was told there was availability. The next morning I went to confirm that I would like to extend and was told it would be taken care of and I could have the same room for the same price. On my original check out day I was locked out of my room and was told I didn’t have a reservation for the additional night and that no rooms were available. So I pressed the woman and she finally said there was a room, but not the room I was in and I’d have to pack up and move and the room would be a lesser quality and would cost far more. She said she was the manager (which I didn’t believe) and she was completely rude. Bottom line, this hotel is bare bones, noisy, has terrible service. Very low end for $770/night. I don’t recommend at all. You’d be better off at a Hampton Inn.…
Okay, I couldn’t resist taking a poke at Brooklyn, but there’s nothing to make fun of with this hotel. What. A. True. Gem. It’s hard to know where to start, but what really, really stands out is the staff here. From management, to front desk, to bellmen, to concierge, to housekeepers and even valet, I don’t think I’ve ever met a nicer, helpful bunch of hotel people in my life, and I’ve traveled across this country. Have you ever stayed at a property for one night and felt like the staff were your friends? If you’ve read my other reviews, you know I’m a stickler for cleanliness and amenities. Our room was immaculate, modern, and had my ‘musts’ for a top review: glass enclosed shower, room safe, refrigerator, and flat screen. But the bonuses here were a balcony with a great view, quiet time policy between 10PM and 8AM, and cookies waiting for us in the room. This place deserves the 5 star rating I give it. My only small complaint is that our King room was less than 300 sq ft, but I now know that bigger rooms can be had for a few more shekels. Speaking of which, the room was a bit more expensive than what I’m used paying, even in NY, but Luca’s restaurant and the rooftop bar make it well worth the price.…
Charged $25 service fee for coffee maker. There was a maker but no coffee. They also charge a 'resort fee' but the pool was closed. All this on top of the room rate. Not good for business - no desk, no chair, just a lounger in the corner. Lacks electrical plugs - nothing on nightstands - had to move plugs to get an outlet in the back. Hampton Inns have better electrical service. On the plus side - very nice balcony with a great view. Room was quiet. Won't stay here again.
