This is a really good hotel for a really good price and the front counter employees were nice. But there are things I wish that were a part of the hotel room. First, I wish there was a "not distrub sign on the door". I didn't want the cleaning service to come in without my permission. Next, the shower. There was no shelf in the shower to put my bar of soap and shampoo. I had to step out of the shower to put my bar of soap back in my soap dish on the bathroom sink. The tile floor in the shower I wish was a little bit cleaner, there was a brown stain on the floor. Also, there was no towel rack on the outside of the shower door. The towels and wash cloths are placed above the toilet, and I had to place the towel on the bathroom sink. So not have a shelf in the shower and a towel rack is an inconvience. One of the nighstands I used to put my electronics on to charge, the top of the nightstand slid off. I didn't use the dresser, but the top drawer handle was broken and the bottom was missing. In the closet, I wish the hangers weren't hangers bought from the $1 store. At least have the hangers black so it'll look more chic. The t.v. channels and internet weren't that great. But all in all, the room was clean and the shower (in my room) was semi-clean, and it had a mini fridge and mircrowave in the room which is a big PLUS. This is truly one of the best hotels for the price in Brooklyn.

The hotel is brand new and that means new appliances, furniture and linen. There are some unfinished parts of the room, but it is comfortable in general. Shower is good, with basic amenities and the bed is also good.
However, the reception is anything but friendly - they made me feel like I had done something wrong - there is no fresh coffee and there are some crazy rules, like not accepting prepaid cards.
If you want just a place to sleep and shower after a long day, that could be an affordable choice. It is also close enough to the subway and to some cheap and fair dining choices.

This hotel appears to be brand new but maybe opened a little before it's quite ready. Most furnishings are shiny and new--for example, the plastic wrap wasn't removed from the lamps or the refrigerator. The phones didn't work in either of the rooms I had. When there was no hair dryer in the room, the front desk said I could come down and get one. When I did, I was handed a typical motel wall-mount hair dryer. It was challenging to use without being mounted and kept sliding around the countertop.
Although the web site says they serve breakfast, they don't yet. There wasn't even a coffee maker in either room.
But in spite of all the new furnishings, there were some odd signs of use. Some of the towels were thread-bare and coming unraveled. There were stains on the shower floor. Also, the rooms are extremely small. They're fine for sleeping, but I wouldn't want to work remotely or anything in one of these rooms.
I still enjoyed my stay (I like sparkling newness) and found the location very convenient. It's a short walk to metro stations and some great Mexican restaurants. I would stay here again.

The Comfort Inn canceled our reservations totally unexpectedly and we two senior ladies ended up at this dump.
No consideration was given to decor or comfort.
The rooms with two beds were in the basement. We were first assigned to the most auster room I've ever encountered. A window opened onto an opening surrounded by concrete.
We asked to be moved to another room.
This room appeared to be fairly clean but with cigarette burns on the sink edge and a shade that was damaged and could not be drawn.
We slept in our clothes, unwilling to be exposed to the sheets. Although the shower appeared clean, bathing was not an option. We weren't taking chances.
The bed was foam and the pillow suspiciously rumpled. One of my pillows lacked a pillow case.
Several unsavory characters hung around the entryway. The receptionist sat behind a glass partition.
The following day we checked in at the Hampton Inn in Brooklyn which was $50 more and a great improvement.

Original hotel cancelled on us just before we flew from the U.K..last minute choice. Poor bathroom design, a sink blocked with hair, mouldy shower with half the door missing. Poor pillows, cigarette burns everywhere. Good housekeepers.

Our original hotel over booked and Expedia recommended king hotel we booked for 2 nights. Well take your money somewhere else before spending it here. It’s in a bad part of Brooklyn and it was so filthy. We could barely sleep because of all the ruckus of other people. The whole hotel smelled like cigarettes and weed. And when we told the manager that we don’t feel safe here and want to check out early. He wouldn’t refund the night we weren’t going to be there. And was utterly rude about it. After going back and forth I saved my breath and just left.

I was very impressed with my hotel room. Very modern, spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed, great hot shower and a very amazing and friendly staff. Always ready to help. Mini refrigerator and a microwave within the room is a great plus. Very nice location, subway, restaurants and cafe's near by in 5 to 10 mins walk. Definitely recommended. Must go if you visit NYC. Worth the price.

The hotel is very comfortable, the staff are helpful, all our requests were met. We arrived at dawn and was all ready for our stay, super indicative. The bed quite comfortable, I slept very well during the days I stayed, the bathroom water always at the ideal temperature, we had no problems.
