Rated a one because it had a bed! But nothing else. First the good news: The bed was quite comfortable and well made up The location of the hotel is excellent and within walking distance to many restaurants and bars The bad: I was truly taken aback at how poorly managed and set up this hotel was for the price. There was no one at the front desk when I arrived back at night, no one on staff at all in evidence the entire time we were there! Definitely No concierge as advertised No coffee or water in lobby.. if there isn't a restaurant ( and one was advertise on your hotel). how hard it is to put a coffee port or water dispenser in lobby? no restaurant-- although website shows lots of global influenced food no bar, although bar was on website, no drinks available anywhere In the room: No hair dryer No hangers... Only one towel NO coffee maker No refrigerator No lamps No reading light no glasses or drinking cups in bathroom no amenities in bathroom No side table for 1 bed Door to room doesn’t close fully and was left open. no place to put luggage no seating area, or chair or any where to sit down as mentioned in reservation no desk or writing surface as mentioned in reservation no charging station as most hotels would have Construction and construction noise throughout. This set up was more suited to a hostel, not a $400 plus a night hotel! I did write and call the management and asked them to respond before I wrote a review… did any of them answer? NO! Clearly they don’t care at all about customer satisfaction.…
I enjoyed this hotel a lot a few years ago, and would always have family stay here when visiting - the pool, the decor, and the bars were great. At this point, they shouldn't even be open. This 'hotel' offers absolutely nothing but a construction zone. There is no lobby, just a basement level passthrough room. There is no restaurant, no pool, no rooftop, no decor, absolutely nothing. Signs are just written on paper scotch-taped to the walls, even the elevator is missing half it's letters. The room featured literally a bed and a desk - not even an ikea painting on the wall, a hairdryer or a coffee maker. They don't even both to put a carafe of coffee in the "lobby".Operating a hotel under this level of construction is nothing more than a scam. Just avoid at all costs. There was, however, a constant scream of jackhammering, from morning to night. What a waste.…
Booked here last minute after other hotels filled up. It is NOTHING like the website pictures. It's run-down, bordering on dirty, and there are no amenities in either the room (no coffee) or in the hotel (no bar or restaurant or food of any sort). It's not really a hotel, it's a run down hostel as other reviews said. Was in a "balcony" room and the door to the balcony barely closed; no real locking system. Dangerous and loud. They have an iron in the closet but no ironing board? Didn't even provide drinking water glasses; just two useless sad looking champagne cups. What's the point of that? I regret ever giving them my hard earned money.
Had such a great experience! Was greeted immediately by a wonderful young lady named Alison. She was amazing, went to personally check if my room was ready and she saw I had to work in the room with two screens and she offered me a desk and chair. After 5pm I went down stairs and Luis took over, he was so kind to let me know amazing places in the area and offered me water when I returned! I asked for a Microwave and boom within minutes maintenance was knocking with a microwave at 9pm. This is such a fabulous team!! Can’t wait to return for such amazing customer service, Pool and roof bar!
This hotel is an example of what you get when financial speculators buy a building with lots of debt and then do the cheapest possible conversion into what they then advertise as a “hotel” when it is really nothing more than a cheap slum. I feel sorry for the staff who try hard for owners who don’t care. Our room was well under the 250 sq ft advertised on the website. We arrived and had no electrical power in the room. That eventually was fixed, but the next day the HVAC system failed. The room was cheaply finished with little care to even basic craftsmanship. After complaining to the desk clerk (by the way, for a hotel this size, we saw only the desk clerk and the occasional maintenance man ever at work - how do you run a hotel with no staff?), we were given a new room for the last night of our stay and the promise of a discounted bill for all the trouble. The new room was larger, but still very shoddily finished. The faucet in the kitchenette was nearly unattached, doors opened into each other, caulking and finished were slap-dash. To top it all off, the hotel’s boiler failed that day - so no hot water anywhere in the hotel. Our other family members checked out early in disgust - maybe we should have, too. Finally, after promises of significant discounts to our bill upon checkout—guess what? No discounts. We have had to now fight with management over credits to our bill—far less than verbally promised during our stay. Travelers beware! You should pass on this so-called hotel.…
