The service was great and the hotel looks great, but sleeping was a challenge with incessant door slamming from neighboring rooms in the morning. The bed was also not comfortable and the sheets were very rough.
Very clean, quiet, and convenient for our visit. Parking next door, breakfast included, luggage storage until room ready, and curtesy late check-out. Double room and bathroom good for the 3 of us. Would definitely recommend.
I'm giving two stars because the staff were very pleasant and I believe the cleanliness issue was more due to lack supplies and staff. The room needs to be cleaned better. When I first arrived the floor was filthy. And the cleaning staff were not equipped with proper brooms and mops. Moreover, the curtains and furniture look they have not been cleaned in a long time. It was covered in dust and dirt. I actually had to clean the room myself in order to feel remotely comfortable. I also recommend that you reupholster or replace the couch in the suite. It was covered in dog hair and the fabric was shedding. I ended up asking for an extra set of sheets so I could cover it temporarily so I felt comfortable enough to sit and work. I strongly urge that the next time the suite is cleaned, the drapes are vacuumed or just shaken out, the floors are properly swept and the crevices within the couch cousin and the bed frame furniture are properly cleaned out/vacuumed. I could tell the hotel was short staffed and did not have enough resources to deeply clean which is concerning seeing as people that hotel should be up to covid standards. Finally, the sheets were old and actually had a hole in them!…
Have stayed here numerous times, and it's the best option in the Cobble Hill area, short of spending big money, although $2300 for a week is not cheap. Rooms are clean. Staff is nice and responsive. Good, clean workout room with Peloton bike but elliptical could use an upgrade. No hot breakfast but free bagel, cereal and yogurt options. Relatively quiet guests but plenty of sirens along Atlantic Ave at night. Worked out of the hotel for a week. WiFi and desk are fine but the post-modern Danish chair could use some butt support. Has a Chromecast option on the TV that allows you to use your streaming apps. Have to put in a code every time, but works well. Occasional pot smell in the hallway, even though it's a non-smoking hotel, but hey, it's Brooklyn. (If you want a contact high, try the Even Hotel. Never smelled so much pot in my life.). Excellent location with any kind of food you might want within a five-block radius. Safe.…
The hotel was not as advertised. Hotel cross the street from. Prison. Bed on the floor. Shower was warm at bed with little pressure. Lighting was weak. Bathroom ceiling was crumbing. Breakfast was prepackaged pastry, coffee and yogurt.
