This Hilton / Hampton property has never failed me and the front office & service staff are always friendly and helpful. The property is located almost across the street for the AFRL lab. The cost to the stay is typically quite reasonable as well

The hotel was very nice and clean an I felt it was in a safe location next to the former Air Force base. Only two issues arose. After getting into our room there was someone playing music very loudly that could be heard in our room and was very irritating while trying to relax, I called the front desk and the woman said there was no one on either side of me so she didn’t do anything about it. I walked down the hall and it was a few doors down. It stopped after about an hour. Second issue was upon checking in at approximately 4:30pm (check in is at 3:00pm) I was informed my room wasn’t ready and did I really need a king bed? I replied yes, that’s why I booked a king bed. After some finagling the clerk (same woman as above) managed to find me a room that was equivalent to what I reserved. On a side note do not count on their free breakfast (I’m assuming this is just while the plandemic is happening) in the morning. It was extremely low quality bagged food. (the price of the rooms should be reduced as long as the advertised services are reduced) Don’t waste your time and walk across the street to Stewart’s or drive to one of the nearby restaurants for breakfast.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay. We really appreciate your feedback as it only helps us know what our guest needs are. I will speak to not only my housekeeping team but also my front desk team in terms of getting rooms ready for check in at the appropriate time. The breakfast is definitely not something that we are used to serving we are doing the best we can with the current situation. We are hoping to be able to open our standard complimentary breakfast soon. Again I thank you for your feedback and we hope that if you return to the area you choose to stay with us again!

We stayed in this hotel as we were visiting family in Rome. Friendly reception and good sized room/bathroom. There was a coffee maker, fridge and microwave in the room. In line with a lot of hotels these days housekeeping is not standard and you have to request it. There were always apples and bananas available in the lobby. There was a good selection for breakfast - two hot options, bagel, toast, cakes, waffles, yoghurts plus hot beverages. The hotel also has a swimming pool which we didn't use

It did what it said on the tin…..! But no more…..sadly. We had great interaction with Luana over email and phone tweaking our visit and she seemed very attentive and positive and cooperative but not a trace of a smile nor any kind of welcome when we did arrive and she was at the desk. Throughout our stay there the staff seemed truly miserable which was quite extraordinary. I did wonder whether something dreadful had occurred but we quickly realised that being cheerful, happy and helpful wasn’t a skill set that they’d been trained in or certainly mastered!
The best part of the hotel was the fact that it’s next to a motorway but the rooms were utterly quiet with ZERO road noise. The showers were tiny (way less than a square metre)and I struggled in and out of them (I am quite tall)and the breakfasts scored 3/10! There seemed to be zero senior management around and again barely a smile nor a welcome from any of the staff. I’m not being a grumpy diamond member but I do expect to be met with a smile and a positive attitude in the morning, neither of which were in evidence anywhere which is so unusual for a Hilton. The breakfasts were poor with really basic and poorly cooked scrambled eggs and the most unappetising displays of a hugely limited fruit selection. The staff were good at making coffees but again always without a smile. One had to ask for utensils every morning as they were always short on knives/forks or spoons etc and ask for food to be replenished because it had been eaten and not replaced. Almost ZERO supervision and quality control by any member of staff.
The hotel is close to the motorway but a long way from anywhere so a car is required for all trips.
On the bright side it was clean and quiet and it worked….sort of! I would not be in a hurry to ever go back though.

In town for a wedding, three generations of my family stayed in eight rooms at the Hampton Inn in Rome, NY. The staff was wonderful to our polite, but robust family members and even super kind to the children. The location was great, a 15 minute walk to a great park filled with climbable structures to help the kids let off energy while adults enjoyed the art. The fort was also nearby and a good place to visit. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The indoor pool was somewhat cold, even for the kids but other than that, everyone was VERY happy with our weekend stay.

The hotel was very easy to get to if you are riding your bikes along the Erie Canal Bike Trail. In fact I was joking with my bf that I wanted to ride my bike through the doors into the lobby. Well, I probably could have done that because our check in process was under 10 seconds. The front desk staff was so quick and efficient and probably the fastest I have ever seen. The rooms were very clean and we would stay here again.

We only stayed overnight but were extremely satisfied! Able to check via the app and use the digital key which was not only convenient but perfect during this time. Did walk through the lobby to get to our room which was very clean. Did checkout at the front desk and the clerk was friendly and efficient. Complimentary breakfast was offered to go but we did not accept it since we were going to a restaurant nearby. Despite us only being at the hotel for less than 24hrs I would definitely stay here again

We stayed the night in Rome and I had found this before we left home. We checked in and very clean and sanitized room. Loved the comforter it was so nice and warm. Didn't think much of the bag breakfast. I you are a big eater order 2 bags, Breakfast sandwich is very small. You need to tighten the toilet seat in Room 104. Great shower. Had a very enjoyable stay.

The breakfast change every morning the main dish. Offer smoothies in two different flavors. Excellent service. A lot of variety, like waffles, Greek yogurt, fruit salad, oatmeal, cereal, fresh fruit, milk and oat milk, pastries, fresh juice, etc.

I agree with the suggestion from csthyt
Service animals, of course. For non-service animals, I can't say for certain, as I don't recall seeing any signs or notices one way or the other.
You'll need to call the hotel directly for rates.
We had a great stay, only a minor glitch. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, your staff handle everything great. See you next year.
