Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This Inn is stunning. It’s very clean and beautiful. The staff is amazing. It’s in a quiet area but not far from the action. My stay included a full Southern breakfast, wine and lite bites in the afternoon and homemade cookies and port in the evening. I loved it.

Hotel's Favourite
We so enjoyed our four nights in July celebrating our 50th Anniversary at the Hamilton-Turner Inn. From the moment we arrived until we departed, the service was great. Parking wasn't a problem and the location was great. Breakfast was delicious and Happy Hour was a treat. The Inn is quiet and serene, bright and cheery. If you're coming to Savannah, you can't go wrong.

On the hunt for a romantic elopement venue we stumbled upon the Hamilton-Turner inn elopement package. The staff took amazing care of us during our stay and it was such a relief to hand off the planning to the professionals. The cake was DELICIOUS and our elopement ceremony was simply magical. The rotating chef's breakfast was enjoyable and the location allowed us to walk around to explore Savannah's riverfront and downtown.

Lovely, serene, perfect - the inn is gorgeous, the staff is wonderful, breakfast and wine o'clock drinks are exactly what our tired winter Yankee souls needed. We highly recommend this gorgeous inn to anyone looking for the perfect location in Savannah for a couples respite!

Everything about the stay exceeded our expectations. The Inn is charming, lovely architecture, spaciouos well appointed rooms, morning breakfast was a delight, ALL of the staff are guest focussed. Little hints about where to park are helpful, bikes available to ride around the city, hjelp with tpour arrangements....all taken care of. Can't wait to return.

Wow! We only stayed for one night, but what a treat! This grand old manse is absolutely beautiful. We were in the Mary Telfair room—even though it is on the side of the house, we still had a view of the square. Comfortably furnished. The common areas (breakfast room, sitting area) are really pretty. Overall, this inn feels historic but bright and welcoming (not fusty-musty) and modernized in a respectful way. Definitely read the binder in the room for the fascinating history of the place. The staff was wonderful and so helpful. Appreciated the snacks throughout the day—fresh baked cookies and fruit, wine and min charcuterie board in the evening, port before bed. The location is very good for exploring the historic part of town. Can’t say enough good things! Perfect for a mother/daughter (what we did) or couples stay.

Quaint, tons of character. Exceptional staff. Truly made us feel welcomed. Breakfasts are to die for (especially the peach praline croissant French toast). Great location. Everything was within easy walking distance. Like Arnold, I will be back!

Hamilton-Turner Inn was an amazing place to rest our heads after a long day of sightseeing. Being across from the Lafayette Square was a plus for dog walks. Food was delish and the staff knew how to deliver excellent customer service. We will be back!!

Pleasant stay, beautiful house. We were sad that our pre Covid stay was much better than this time, but still enjoyed it. Great spot to be for walking almost anywhere! The history and charm is like no place else.

We have stayed here many times and while the rooms and the building are still lovely and the staff is pleasant and eager to please, the food is nothing like it used to be. Breakfast lacks the fresh fruits and patries on the sideboard and the presentation is sad. The 5 o’clock wine and appetizers are the worst disappointment. It used to be set up so elegantly in the parlor where guests mingled and shared the day’s activities. Alas, everything changes and not for the better.
