Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband had a work conference in Savannah and I decided to join him on the back end of the trip. This hotel was perfectly located within walking distance to all the historic memories of Savannah. The concierge was beyond helpful and daily checked in as we walked by her in the lobby. Breakfast was an added bonus with the most quaint atmosphere to enjoy our morning coffee. Our room was on the top floor and gave us a little bit of an escape as it was nestled in the back corner and quiet. Our favorite part of this hotel was the opportunity to imagine all the avenues it may have been in the years before - as the elevator has probably been around since the start of the build. We will certainly stay here again if we have the opportunity to visit Savannah in the future.

Hotel's Favourite
I was so pleased with everything about the Hampton Inn & Suites in the Historic District in Savannah. It was so conveniently located. Easy in and out if the city. Close to The Grey and next to the trolley tour companies. But the biggest selling point to the hotel in my opinion is the public spaces. Beautiful lobby and dining room. Thank you,

Great location. Room large for a city hotel. Loved having a knowledgeable concierge on site. Staff were great and met all our needs. We booked the parking with our room (valet only) and had no issues. Easy to get an Uber. Would definitely return.

What a gem! It is just across the street and a flight of stairs from the river walk. The hotel was recently renovated, and everything is pristine. The fitness room is well equipped. The staff was very attentive in the breakfast room and at the front desk. The only feature that is less than ideal is the driveway and the parking. The valet service is very expensive, but the front desk was upfront in telling us a parking garage a block away is at least half the price. Unloading/loading is cramped and tricky. Make sure your most skilled driver deals with that challenge! We really enjoyed our stay and will consider for our next visit.

Clean and quiet! Especially good breakfast with some changes daily, served attractively in a comfortable space. This is an appealing property convenient to restaurants and attractions. The overall ambiance suited its location the historic district. Although much was within walking distance, we used Uber several times, something I mention because a taxi was never more than a couple of minutes away. The friendly staff were genuinely helpful with things we needed during our stay and with suggestions for things we might do and see. Considering other properties we saw and their published prices, we had a good deal in a very good location.

This Hampton Inn is the finest Hilton property that we have ever experienced. The staff is amazing, the breakfast to yummy and fun because the staff makes you feel like you are in their home for a visit. The rooms are large and comfortable, especially the mini-suites. The location is prefect for accessing every part of Savannah by walking. The lobby, especially the fireplace lounge, is so friendly and comfortable. But again, the staff is absolutely awesaome.

The service is good but I did not know that this was a pet friendly hotel and my allergies kicked in for the whole stay. Not sure they do a great job of vacuuming the rugs there. The bed was comfortable but the pillows all need to be replaced. There is no fluff to them at all.

Good location. Walked to most everything. Clean, nice beds, cookies and coffee available in the afternoon. Pool. No conditioner in the shower. Check before you get in. Did not get our Diamond Club gift upon arrival. Stay on the upper floors to avoid street noise. Parking may not be close by. Concierge helped us with decisions.

Decent hotel. Great location in the historic district of old Savannah, so you won't spend much time in the hotel. Rooms are fine. Parking is expensive and offsite. Wifi is strong. Breakfast is terrible, but there are lots of breakfast cafes nearby, so you'll be able to find something better. Overall, and ok hotel, but there are so many others in the area that I would probably try another hotel before I'd return to the Hampton.
