We stayed at this hotel due to the proximity to the airport and after a long day of sightseeing, we checked in. What an amazing staff. The front desk was busy, but they had a plan and dealt with everyone promptly and with a great attitude. They made us feel special and asked about our preferences for a room location. They delivered! Because we were tired, we decided against going out and ate at the hotel. Once again, Carolyn and Alyssa went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We caught the end of Happy Hour (very good deal on some quality house wine) and enjoyed fish tacos and a flatbread. We left satisfied and retired to our room for a good night's sleep. I highly recommend this hotel if you need to stay near JAX.

One word : W-O-W! We booked the presidential suite for a 1 night stay in Jacksonville while traveling. We were greeted by Bradley F., very friendly guy at the front who told us all about the property and all the features of our room. We thoroughly tested out the bathtub ( a nice luxury while on the road) and were completely relaxed. The restaurant/bar onsite had great food and drinks. If ever we are back in Jacksonville this is our SPOT! Thanks all!

The hotel is pretty old, but the room was fine. It was a bit noisy, TV from next room was too easy to hear. There is also a big gap between the bottom of the door and the floor allowing for light and sound from the hallway.
The shuttle is probably the best you can get at Jax airport. Most hotels start shuttle service too late. This hotel starts at 4 am, and it departed promptly ontime.
The worst part of the stay was the front desk/check in experience. It took a while to check a person in front of me. Then, the person tried to add a significant amount to my rate and me showing the IHG reservation did not seem to help.
After sharing my frustration with the lousy check in proccess, I was invited to "go stay at another hotel", then the person left the desk while I was standing there to supposedly go call the manager to help with the their rate confusion.
Eventually, I was issued the key after I requested that the person figures out the issues they have been having after I get to the room.
The morning clerk was really nice and apologized for his lovely colleague.

Terrible experience. They say check in is at 3pm yet we couldn't check in till after 5pm. Stayed in the lobby for hours waiting. Nothing opened nor anything to do while we waited. Had multiple rooms and one had the fire alarm beeping ALL NIGHT LONG. Nothing was done till check out. Paid extra when reserving to get the breakfast included yet had to pay for my daughter since only 2 tickets are received no matter how many people you put in the room. One of our rooms didn't even get their tickets.
I was highly disappointed on how everything was handled.

We stayed here for all of about 1 hour. We picked this hotel because it was ranked #1 on trip advisor and as a long time traveler I am fully confused.

Booked the hotel online prior to arrival only to find out their website doesn’t actually book direct, it’s through Expedia and the only true way to book direct is to use the IGH app which wasn’t clear. Expedia charges above the normal rate and has awful fees associated with it. ISSUE 1. If I go a hotels website direct, I fully expect to book direct and if I’m not a disclosure must be made that I’m booking with a 3rd party site. This felt like a total scam.

Issue 2. Checked in with a service dog to my suite and was told sorry no pets allowed in a suite. She’s not a pet she was clearly working and marked a service dog. She goes in back to speak with a manger after I explained a service dog is the equivalent to a wheelchair. You can’t say you can’t stay in a room because of it. She came back to say she would allow it.

Take the elevator to the room and see very very sketchy guests. Appeared to be people Living there not actual hotel guests. Just sitting on the floors and hanging out like I’ve never seen in a hotel. No AC in hallways or elevator and the smell of sweat, body odor, urine on the floor of the elevator and weed. Disgusting. Get up to our floor and the hallway windows outside of the elevator are broken and blacked out with tint and tape.

Get into the room and it is the most beat up room I’ve ever been in. Warped wood on the tables, very outdated but semi clean. Shower had mold all over but the smell of musty mold made my allergies and asthma go crazy to the point I needed to leave for fresh air outside. Back down the elevator into the hallway where there was a line at a tiny microwave.. again felt like people living there. With a full restaurant open for service why are people making microwave dinners in a hotel?!

Go outside to see tons of people smoking and hanging out, barefoot. People screaming and I realized it just didn’t feel safe. Went to the front desk and explained about my asthma and allergies and needed to canceled. She again went in the back to the manger who approved it and she attempted to cancel but then told me we booked though Expedia and I’d have to call them. After showing her my email and the website, she explained the website is through Expedia and I needed to book through the app to book direct. Thankfully Expedia was able to easily cancel it with a phone call but we lost out on all the fees that they charge since those are non refundable.

Awful hotel, awful booking and I don’t really understand why it has any good reviews other than paying people to leave them.

Check-in at 11:45 pm was a disaster. It took 45 minutes with only two parties in front of us. There was only one person working and apparently she had difficulty finding one reservation for a party with multiple rooms. (Create a new one!) The worst part was there was no concern or acknowledgment, let alone an apology, for the delay. No urgency at all. Almost like it was purposeful. Of the hundreds of hotel rooms we’ve checked into, this was by far the worst experience. We felt like we were in an alternate universe, or being punked. We’ll stick with Hilton going forward.

For the second time this year my wife and I went on a weekend shopping trip to Jacksonville and stayed at the Crowne Plaza. We stayed here earlier this year and were treated so well we decided that even though for part our trip the hotel would be out of our way the staff was so welcoming and the facility was so inviting and well kept we would make this hotel our base for this trip and all future ones to Jacksonville. The facilities are first class and the food is superb. how can you miss with and in house Starbucks. I have traveled extensively throughout the US for business and always have looked for hotels I could count on where i was welcomed and knew that I never had to worry about there being something wrong. I can definitely add the Crowne Plaza and it's staff to the list, very close to the top of the list.

Stayed during Hurricane Ian and the staff was most accommodating. Arrival and check in was flawless as well as checkout. Wifi went out on day two on our floor and they successfully restored service within 2 hours. All staff made us feel welcome. Room was average, rusting bathroom door, a little caulk is good but more must be better in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathrooms, the toilet was low, really low that made it difficult to use. Found the public use restrooms and to use the disabled height toilets. The elevators to building two whistled with the wind. Good thing our stay included breakfast as the buffet was $25/person in what is really a $10-$12 dollar value.

We had difficulty accessing this property after leaving I 95. The access roads were dark and confusing. I booked two rooms for my family. This hotel has two building. However, one of the rooms was accessed by a room key only which made it difficult, very difficult, to get together during our stay, especially helping out with our five month old baby. I also believe that the kind and caring desk associate was not aware of my silver status with Hilton Honors when I arrived, when I asked about having water bottles at the time of check-in, I was told that only silver or above status, Hilton honors guess receive them, but I could “have two on me“ from the associate. At the time I was not aware that I was a silver member so I didn’t pursue it. But after I checked, in and I looked at my status and saw that I was a silver Hilton Honors member and I did tell my family that they could have the two bottles in their room and in ours to drink them. There is a communication, problem, and education that should be fixed for future guests.

We did not have enough towels in our room upon arrival and had to request more towels from the front desk. Towel quality was not great.

We were happy to have the convenience of a restaurant that was open late for getting some food for us. There was only one person managing the restaurant and bar when we arrived. He was accommodating, but I could see that he was overwhelmed with what he had to accomplish with all the guests drinking and eating in this restaurant. Lack of staff seems to be a problem here. They were overwhelmed, apparently with the amount of people who were eating at the same time because they ran out of silverware and we use plastic forks, knives, and spoons for our dinner. My son-in-law ordered a Caesar salad and the size of the portion was not in relationship to the price, that was charged, meaning it was small. The chicken tacos were good. And the guacamole came out of a package which was disappointing. It was like just a cream sauce in a little package. And here’s the worst problem: breakfast. As I said before, there seems to be a lack of staff members And the breakfast experience made this quite evident. They have a Starbucks express counter and had only one person taking the orders for breakfast and having to make the beverages at the same time. A long line of guests, and I mean long line, resulted. I was surprised that the food came from the actual restaurant of the hotel, instead of the typical Starbucks reheated frozen breakfast options. But waiting in that line was not fun. I felt sorry for the unfortunate staff member’s workload especially when his computer froze! Finally, the hotel desk associate came over and started to deliver the packed orders from the kitchen to the guest to are sitting at their tables, waiting for their food. That freed up the other Starbucks/breakfast staff member to open up another register, which alleviated the long line but by that time, breakfast was almost over. I felt that the $70 for four people was not worth it due to the frustration and limited options for my family’s beverages and food choices.

Does Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport offer a 24/7 Shuttle to and from the airport?

The Executive Room was a bit larger and allows you exclusive access to the Executive Lounge with snacks, ice cream, drinks and a private business lounge. Nice quaint and cozy lounge.
