Highly recommend this location to stay if you're going to be in the Jacksonville area. We like St. Johns Town Center for the shopping and food and gives you easy access to any other location you're planning on heading during your visit. The hotel itself was very clean and up to date. The breakfast was great, not your typical buffet but instead freshly cooked food regularly brought out in smaller batches. The front lobby gives you options when traveling for business. There was a conference room, extra seating to work, as well as two small nooks for having a private conversation or needing to jump on your laptop. The fitness area was clean, had extra towels, water, headsets, and newer equipment including a Peleton bike! There was an outdoor pool which we did not use while we were there so I cannot comment on that from my own experience. Our hotel room was very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, there was plenty of waste receptacles (which if you have kids you know...), there was plenty of lighting throughout the room, black out blinds and a privacy blind, a working fridge, and additional sheets/bedding available in the closet if we needed it. If there is anything I can say I was unhappy with would be the water pressure in the shower wasn't very good. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay and impressed with the overall price and quality of the hotel.

The rooms and the hotel were immaculate! The beds were actually comfortable and it was so quiet that I slept like a rock which rarely happens for me in hotels. All of the staff members were so kind and helpful. The location is great if you want to be close to shopping, good restaurants, and easy commute to anywhere in town including the beach…but much more affordable than a comparable quality hotel at the beach. I loved my stay at this Hyatt and I highly recommend it. The lake view is also really nice! We watched jumping fish and turtles and birds on the lake.

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel, August 15 to 18, 2024, room 418; great location being next to the Town Center Mall, facing a lake that makes the atmosphere beautiful. Our room was just lake view, spacious and clean, with a very nice and spacious bathroom. Very friendly staff and free parking. The only drawback not cheap, really too cold in the hotel .. air conditioning set on POLAR environment! In the room it was impossible to turn it off completely, we were forced to "bump" the air vent so as not to freeze overnight. Too much ice..then, the rest, everything perfect!

It may be a good idea to provide bottled water in the rooms. It's like highway robbery to charge $4 a bottle at the desk. There was another woman at the desk asking for water. When the clerk charged $4 this blind guest said she would drink tap water. RIDICULOUS! If not for that the sat would have received a 5 star

Really nothing bad to say. Very nice Hyatt, seems to have been recently updated. Room very clean, bed comfortable, spacious bathroom. Professional staff. Breakfast is available in the lobby but only until 9 AM (at least when we were there). Buffet breakfast is an additional charge, a little over $11 per adult, kids ear free (I believe under age of 13). Nice looking outdoor pool and space (no indoor pool), but it was a bit too cold out to swim. Parking is available, I believe for a small fee, but we weren’t charged for it. Lots of restaurants and shops very close by. You get a lot for the price. Would stay here again.

The hotel was very nice, clean, and beautifully decorated. I especially like that the hotel was well kept, the rooms were spacious with a nice view of the lake. I prefer hotels with a walk in shower and Hyatt Place definitely delivered on having a spacious walk in shower which was a major plus for me. House keeping was provided daily and the hotel has a beautiful pool, with plenty of lounging chairs on the nicely decorated patio. The hotel lobby was very comfortable and the staff were all very friendly, professional and helpful upon request. The parking lot felt safe and the hotel is located in a perfect area close to several restaurants and retail stores for shopping for just about anything you want within walking distance. Our stay was perfect!

Staff was great, except for Neal Yesterday night poor kid working in bar area was struggling by her self taking orders, bartending and cooking while Neal was literally sitting next to where she is working and never offer to help to take orders or help in kitchen but instead he was seating facing his back to the public and reading a book, when I asked him if he could help me he said that the girl is the one who serves, takes orders and cook, turned his back again and kept reading his book- he was not taking any check ins since there was another lady doing that, my friend came asking for paper plates he finally stand up went to kitchen asked girl who was struggling cooking and serving and he proceeded to say there is none. That my friend can go to breakfast area and just grab plates from there 🤷🏼♂️. Then other moms wanted to order food but since there is only one person taking orders serving and cooking it took a while so they went to order somewhere else. There was another customer waiting to order a beer but Neil never bothered to offer help. He just kept sitting there reading a book. Then lady at check in needed to go for a little bit and ask Neil to be at check in, a gentleman arrived around 8-9ish pm with his little girl and for some reason Neil couldn’t find him on the system and proceeded to tell customer, he will need to call Expedia and see what happened that there was nothing he could do, customer seemed confused and helpless, then Neil said oh wait I found you, “you are lucky”. Maybe there should be a more teamwork exercises?, I know Hyatt’s motto is empathy and Neil did not show any empathy for his coworkers or customers, maybe he had a bad night or if this is something he is used to do. But in all my years going to hotels is the first time I experienced such a lack of empathy and teamwork from somebody working in the hotel business.
Such a difference from morning staff Poffy and lady who cleans rooms (i did not ask her name) went above and beyond helping me find my blanket who was. Left in room after check out , she came with my blanket folded and all. I wish I can leave a 5 start review but don’t Neal’s events from night before I have to leave a 2 star

We were given a mandatory evacuation from the west coast of Florida and booked three nights with this hotel. After arriving 3 hours later - at night, in the rain, we were turned away for having a cat. The phone app says "pet friendly," so we requested a refund. This hotel REFUSED to refund the three nights since the web app specifies dogs only.

Was sent to Jacksonville for work so the hotel was already picked out by the company. Came 2 days earlier to make it a mini vacation with my SO and had already asked for a late check in around 1 am since our flight landed at 12am. Our flight got delayed and I called to let the hotel know we would be coming after 2am. They ran my credit card on file for the room with permission and when we got there we told them our names and they just handed us the key. It was very nice because it was almost 3 am and were exhausted. It was also seemless checking out before the business portion of the trip. We checked out and they checked us right back into the same room. We stayed on the ground floor looking out at the parking lot it was a single king bed. Never heard any noise from other rooms and they have a nice deck next to the pool overlooking the pond. The pool looked clean but didn't get to go into due to going to the beach and a big storm that caused lightning to hit the pool and fry the pump. Luckily the pool was fixed the next day. Breakfast was included but very mediocre for hotel breakfast. The only thing that kinda sucked was having to pay full price for the first night to make sure a room was available when we got there at 3 am. The hotel is close to many shops and restaurants and about 30-40 minutes to St. Augustine which has a lot to do. The drive down the A1A on the coast south takes you past a large nature reserve with trails and 3 beach access that was clean and not very crowded as well. If I had to go to Jacksonville again I would stay here and this trips would make me consit staying at a Hyatt location in the future

I highly do not recommend this hotel if you are looking for cleanliness and comfort. For the price it is worth, you’re better off going elsewhere. The hotel is only name and only pretty and clean on the 1st floor. After that, don’t expect much from your room. We found the coffee machine and cups dirty. The sofa bed had sheets tucked inside the couch that were stained and had hair on them. When you opened the sofa bed, there was also trash like napkins and bottle caps tucked inside. The beds are not firm at all, so you sink in the middle. Do not expect complimentary coffee in the lobby or water, you will be paying for it, which really is a bummer seeing as the coffee machine and cups in the room, were dirty. The phone in the room never worked and when we notified staff, we were told it would be fixed. It never was throughout our stay. During your stay, you will have to call for housekeeping. Don’t expect for your room to be clean even then. They never switched out the dirty cups or glasses. They also left behind dirty pillowcases sitting on the dresser. We were so disappointed by this stay. We booked this hotel, knowing it was expensive, thinking it would be pleasant, clean, and comfortable for my mom who was having an operation done and needed to rest. Unfortunately, we did not get that experience at all. Even when checking out, no one bothered to ask how the stay was. I had to say something about it, but it came with no resolution besides writing down my concerns.

I believe standard is 3pm... but if you are a Hyatt member it could be much earlier; depends on availability... our early checkin (as a member) text/email came at 1pm for Jacksonville or 10:00am in St. Petersburg. Or you can pay extra for early check in.
There are more places to choose from in the Jacksonville area.
