The Delta Hotel Philadelphia Airport is often celebrated for its inviting ambiance and refined atmosphere, with guests regularly commending the modern and spotless facilities. While the convenient location near the airport and the efficient shuttle service are popular among many travelers, some have called attention to the high parking and restaurant pricing.
Although the spacious and comfortable rooms are a highlight, a few visitors have pointed out inconsistencies in service and room maintenance. Overall, the hotel's cleanliness and range of amenities receive high praise, despite occasional discrepancies.

Detailed Reviews
If you have a child on the autism spectrum this hotel is theeee place to stay. Because noise is a huge factor whenever we stay at a hotel I was especially leery about staying at an airport property, but the rate was great, they have suites with refrigerators, starbucks and a bar in the lobby with a shuttle to the airport!! Our room was spacious, sound proof, it definitely gave me downtown luxury vibes, couldn't hear the planes AT ALL. The room had a huge window with a beautiful view, and a chase lounge to take it all in. The ability to make the room dim or full of light was a plus when dealing with my daughter's sensory overloaded moments. Plenty of restaurants nearby making it an ease to order Doordash for my selective eater. A microwave in the room would of been a plus but there was one in cafe. To my AUSome mommies this hotel is a perfect fit for your little ones. #autismspectrum #ausomemoms #hotelsgreatforautistickids

This hotel is gorgeous and less than 10 miles from sports complexes, 5 from airport. It's beautiful, clean and employees are so nice.
Starbucks in the lobby from 6-1 and quiet hours between 10-8 which is great.
Water is hot, rainfall shower, comfortable beds, pillows were too soft so if you like firm bring your own.
Our floor had a water bottle refilling station.
The room was immaculately clean and a sanitizing wipe is left for you to wipe down things. Upon using it on the remotes, desk, headboard I found no grossness on the wipe which was a releiving surprise.
Parking is $12 with in and out privileges. Shuttle takes you to restaurants within 5 minutes and to thr airport every 15 or 30? minutes.
An uber from there to 9th Street S Philly during rush hour was $20.
Will definitely stay again!!!

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
The shuttle was easy to use; the driver was super friendly. When arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by friendly and professional hotel staff; they were even able to check me in early. The room was very clean with sealed bathroom items and mini fridge to indicate we were the first to use the room after cleaning.
Assisting in dinner reservations, the driver and front desk clerk made phone call to be sure the restaurant would be open due to change in hours due to Covid.
Many thanks to Markeeda, Thomas, Christopher, and Rondell for your assistance and going above and beyond.

Mr T the shuttle driver is the highlight of this hotel experience. This recently updated hotel is struggling with attention to cleaning detail and unfortunately also attention to their invoice and management communication skills. We stayed at this hotel prior to a flight. It is located close to the airport and the shuttle is convenient. I would not recommend eating at the hotel as the staff seems to not be able to keep up with the demand of the number of guests. The shuttle will take you to a local sports pub called Coaches if looking for a watering hole near the hotel.
The cleaning of this hotel is way way below sub par. We arrived late and didn’t want to be bothered with changing rooms but other than the freshly made bed we are pretty sure this room was left uncleaned. There were yellow “spots” on the toilet seat and crumbs on the counter tops etc…. In todays world we have become used to traveling with cleaning supplies so we just pulled out our sanitizing wipes wan cleaned all the surfaces ourselves. . The thing that is grossly unacceptable is the uncleand shower drains…. Marriott has converted many of their shower tubs to showers trays with metal drains. Unfortunately the cleaning staff does not lift these metal trays and clean the drains which results in absolutely disgusting, clogged with mold and hair and shemgma. (Yeah think all things completely gross that don’t drain down a clogged drain). This clogged drain resulted in the shower tray filling up which is why we lifted the tray and ewwwww. Don’t think its been cleaned in years. It was so gross my husband and i cleaned our feet in the sink after our shower because it was so yucky. Yes we did notify the hotel not confident it will be addressed. Still working on them correcting a error on our invoice (another recent marriott issue of charging a bill incorrectly- this is the 2nd hotel in last month that charged us for our “complimentary food and beverage credit”. Not that its a large amount but its the principal. And its incredible annoying to have to follow up with hotel staff to correct a $10 charge. Two phone calls in at this point and still not corrected.

I was warmly greeted by front desk personnel who swiftly took care of my needs for check-in. They provided me with a list of the amenities. I was only there for the night so I did not get to try everything they had to offer, but their bar and food menu were tantalizing. My room was spotless and they had a smart TV that allowed access to various apps and channels. I didn't get bored as I have at other hotels with standard channels.
I had a couple of requests which they accommodated for. I was able to store my car there for the week I was out of town for a small fee. I needed a shuttle 30 mins before the start of their shuttle service to the airport at 4 am and they accommodated. In both instances where I utilized the shuttle, my drivers were extremely kind and knowledgeable.
Overall, I had a great experience and I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you're flying out of PHL.

I normally stay at a different Marriott property, but it wasn’t available tonight. T the van driver is great. He told me I would like this place much better and I would want to stay here now. I went to the bar/restaurant to get some dinner. E the bartender/server is very busy, but attentive to everyone. There were 15 people in the bar. The menu leaves much to be desired. There were about 5 or 6 items to choose from. I had a salad and added grilled chicken and fries. The salad came in a sandwich basket with paper on the bottom. The chicken wasn’t even a half of a breast and it was cold. The fries were in the same type of basket and lots of fries. The bill no alcohol $21. A bit pricey for what I ordered. The gym is GREAT! My room appeared clean till I pulled the sheets back. There was make up on the pillows and sheets and some other black not sure if it was stuff. I went to the front desk with pictures and spoke to the on duty manager. She apologized and sent someone to change the bedding with in 15 mins.

So I originally made a reservation for the Marriott, Philly Airport, I called the property (Marriott Philly airport)to inquire if they had a pool. Unfortunately they did not, and the hotel operator told me to contact the "Delta Philly Airport" to inquire if they had one.
Upon contacting the Delta (Unfortunately they done have a pool either) Mr, White answered I inquired about the pool, so from there he and I engaged in a conversation, he then asked if I wanted to make a reservation. I proceeded to inform him that I had a reservation at the airport Marriott, he then asked if I wanted to make a reservation with his property, my response to him was "to win my business what can you offer me that would make me want to stay with them (the delta).
He then proceeded to tell my what the rate was for the nites I wanted to stay, then he said I can offer you a discount rate which was like minus $35/40 per nite what the rate he quoted. O I forgot to mention that I told him it was my 3yr anniversary so I need him to make it worth my wild.
Now reducing the rate by $35/40 per nite he also offered me a Jr suite, right there I was sold, but he his EXCELLENT cust service didn't stop there.
I then explained to him that I'm a family member of a Marriott employee, so I could get even a cheaper rate, the gentleman honored my discount, still provide the Jr suite, and upon my arrival comp my parking ($12) per day.
This was/is what true cust service is about. He did NOT have to offer any of the perks he offered, and to top off his EXCELLENT service he was there when I arrive and he checked my into my room.
We (my wife) had room #508, the suite was very spacious, with a comfortable king bed and if was very clean and comfortable. A very nice 42`flat screen.
Because of Mr Thomas, whenever I'm in Philly I will definitely be staying at the Delta.
To the hotels manager/ GM please recognize Mr White for his outstanding cust service
FYI..ALL the prior reviews that I read spoke about the outstanding cust service at this hotel which was a plus in me even considering staying here, but to experience it was even more of a plus.

Our flight was cancelled after spending the evening at the airport and we were forced to find a hotel at 11:00 at night and the Delta had room. They picked us up on the free hotel shuttle outside of the baggage area of the Philadelphia Airport and brought us there, which was a very short ride (maybe three minutes). The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was beautiful. The hotel was beautiful. Definitely recommend. There is not a free breakfast. We did have to pay for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee, but they were not so bad ($4.50) for a sandwich. They do have great parking and a gated parking area. The shuttle starts again at 4:30 am and was very convenient and free!

We booked a king room, when we checked in at 11pm, they said the only king room still available was a wheelchair accessible room on the 2nd floor, which would have been fine if it had been clean. The bed was half made and looked like someone had just gotten out of it. The bathroom was visibly dirty, and there was a balcony with a view of a creepy closed down indoor pool. There were kids running and screaming up and down the hallways.
They managed to find another room to put us in on a higher floor. We woke up the next morning to realize the toilet was slightly leaking. The toilet paper holder was broken as well. Decided to take our showers before calling maintenance. While I was in the shower, maintenance started banging on the door, saying water from our bathroom was leaking into the room below. When I turned the faucet off to get out of the shower, the shower handle literally came off in my hand. We left for the day, giving them time to fix things, came back that night and nothing was fixed. While the photos look nice, they are deceiving, because they updated the bare minimum and obviously housekeeping is slack. There is no working pool or hot tub, don’t let the photos fool you.

I was flying out of Philly coming off of a road trip and decided to stay at Delta before my flight out and take advantage of their “Park Here, Fly There” promotion, which included parking at $12/day (better than economy rate). I had a flight that came in around midnight and had verified with the hotel before booking that their shuttle was 24/7. I called multiple times to request a pickup. The first time I called the hotel was at 12:18 am as I stood out by the appropriate hotel courtesy shuttle. After selecting the option it rang and rang, and then played hold music for five minutes. I called again at 12:24 and again it rang and rang, but this time no hold music. I called again at 12:27 and chose the option for the front desk. Again it rang and rang, with no hold music. I finally got through to someone at the front desk at 12:31, and he told me the shuttle would be at my location in 15 minutes. In the time I was standing there, shuttles for the airport’s economy lot ($15/day) had gone by over and over again and picked up passengers. I called the hotel again at 1:02 am and informed them that the shuttle had still not come. The front desk operator said he would notify the shuttle driver. I finally called again at 1:18, told the front desk it had been an hour and that I would be calling an Uber. Finally, at 1:30 am, as I was riding to the hotel in the Uber, the shuttle driver called me and said he was at the stop (the wrong stop, by the way). But it was too late. Instead of getting to my car around 12:30 am, I got to my car past 1:30, and still had to drive home. The front desk clerk graciously allowed me to leave without charging me for the parking, but frankly it barely made up for the inconvenience and the cost of the Uber.
The hotel room and its facilities were clean and nice at my original check-in before my flight out. The front desk staff was friendly at that time. They had no regular coffee for the room and when I went down to ask, they didn’t have any at the front desk either.
I had a great experience originally taking the shuttle to the hotel. The driver was friendly. From the time I boarded to the shuttle to the time I cleared security (thanks to pre-check and no checked baggage) was barely ten minutes.
