The staff at the front desk were very nice and friendly. The location is right at the convention centre, Reading Terminal Market and there are lots of restaurants near by. The rooms are quite spacious, but they are showing a lot of wear and tear. The seat cushions on the couch in our room were torn and the lamp shades were battered. There were holes in the pillowcases. If you were staying for a longer visit, the kitchenette part of the room was very well equipped. Overall, it's an ok hotel, but we would likely choose one of the many other hotels on our next visit.

Hotel's Favourite
Pros: Staff was flexible and pleasant with us, let us check in an hour early because our room was already ready. The room (2 queen bed pet room) was clean and in excellent shape, something I had worried a little bit about after seeing other reviews. Beds were comfortable and climate control worked well. I liked the in-room mini Keurig and the microwave, dishwasher and fridge were all clean and functional. No unpleasant smells. Biggest Pro: Location, location, location! We ate one meal every day in Reading Terminal Market, which was literally right across the street from the front door (one way street, easy to cross!) We'd get our food from any of those amazing options, then bring it back and enjoy it at the lobby tables and it was great. Hotel is just around the corner from all the tour buses and not a long walk from much of the downtown. We didn't use our car at all during our 3-night stay. Cons: Lobby is a little run-down and could use new seats (very worn cushions!) Breakfast was hit or miss for us, though there were always waffles, one day there was no bread, bagels or butter, and they ran out of hot food saying the truck had not come in. The coffee and hot water in the lobby was always cold (but they did have coffee accessories and the front desk gave me more pods for my Keurig). The room did not have a bathtub, only a stall shower. Biggest Con: The swimming pool was closed the first night of our stay for some sort of electrical problem, and was very cold and disappointing when my husband and son used it. There was more than enough other stuff to do, but don't come expecting much in terms of swimming. Overall, a very good stay and we will definitely book again next time we go to Philadelphia.

This hotel is very basic despite the photos, description and location. What they do not tell you when you book your room is that there is no parking! It is located in downtown Philadelphia and there is no parking! When I got there I drove around the building in high traffic looking for the parking garage and finally called the front desk to ask. I was told “there is no parking facility associated with this building“. That is a prepared statement, so it was a willful omission on the booking end. Parking in the immediate vicinity is for two nights was approximately $100. There is also a an “incidental” fee from the hotel of $100 per night which is also not mentioned when you book the room. It felt like a total and complete grift and scam especially since there is, of course, a cancellation policy, in which your money would not be refunded. It was nigh 100° when I went and I had to walk around the building , which is massive because it is connected to the convention center, and the entrance was not readily apparent. I was dragging my luggage and completely drenched in sweat when I finally found it and too exhausted to argue about all the nonsense fees. I had every intention of filling the tub with cool water and taking a bath just to cool off but there was, to my surprise, no tub in the small bathroom of a $200+ hotel room. The room was spacious, seemingly clean, but nothing impressive at all for the cost. There was a small couch that had seen better days and the remote didn’t even operate the tv. I was too exhausted with the place to complain and just changed the channels by using buttons on the side of the tv. There is a free breakfast at the hotel, but it needed to be considering what they had. I took a vantage of the hot coffee and went across the street to spend money on a real breakfast. Philadelphia turned out to be an outstanding place to visit, especially with the museums and attractions but there is at least two other hotels in the immediate area that will better serve customers.

I am a 17 year Diamond Member ( 60 nights per year ) and I will never book a stay at this location again - In fact I'm considering switching to Marriott as my co-workers swear by their excellent CS. I recently booked a stay for a business trip only to have my customer cancel on me the morning of my stay. I immediately messaged the Hotel asking if they could cancel my reservation and they just lied and said they can't cancel it within 24 hours ( I know for a FACT they can cancel/refund at any time ). Anyone in a traveling sales type role knows things like this happen a lot, and plans change. What's the point of reaching / maintaining a Hotel chains HIGHEST level if you can't make changes to existing reservations. So I pleaded and begged the Hotel to help but they wouldn't have it. They kept my money knowing I will not check in later this evening. Buyer beware, if you are looking for a Hotel that provides any level of customer service look elsewhere. These guys are right next to the convention center so I guess they can be that arrogant.

Well this is mixed , first the down side is we arrived at 4:30 our room was not ready , front desk lady didn’t know when it would be ?? We then went to a different front desk gentleman named John . He said it wasn’t ready but went to our room and cleaned it himself ! Thanks John . Room was decent , clean , there was a full kitchen in there ! Big fridge , dishwasher, dishes ! We were only spending a night so we had no need for that but it was nice . Especially with trader joes right beneath the place and reading terminal market ! The bathroom door lock was broken so no lock . Other than that it was quiet , comfortable and clean . House keeping did come in unannounced.. umm… overall location was key ! Walk to city hall, market , restaurants, took subway from city hall to the Met for a concert . We wanted to have nightcap when we got back but that area was pretty quiet late at night other than homeless people sleeping and a gentleman that we thought was not living , we took the time to get him help . So we walked to the nearby Gayborhood and there was lots of night life there , found a speak easy bar and had some great live music and a drink . Hotel would be great for long business trip with that kitchen . Price pretty good for being right downtown with access to public transportation and the sights .

Conveniently located next door to the convention center and the Reading Terminal Market, this is a nice hotel at a reasonable price that’s within easy walking distance to most downtown Philly attractions. It’s one block from Jefferson Station, a stop for several SEPTA trains including the airport line ($6.75 each way to and from the airport and a 30-minute ride). The hotel staff were all very friendly, and the room was spacious and comfortable. There is a nice fitness center, small indoor pool, and laundry room. The free breakfast has a decent selection of items, but it can get crowded. If so, you can walk across the street to the Reading Terminal Market for lots of good options.

The hotel staff and location are great but other than that would never stay here again. When we asked for extra towels, garbage bags, no problems given from staff. There was a very friendly security guard there but on to the bad, the room was FILTHY! It looked like feces was all over bathroom wall (attaching pictures). The beds were as old as my grandma, loud and squeaky also. It looked like one mattress had a blood stain. The pull out sofa was even worse! Our first night the refrigerator was broken and we were told “put everything in the freezer.” Ummm no, things will explode. After he left, the refrigerator started leaking water everywhere which they then came to replace immediately with that happening. The AC was broken and they came to fix and no issues after that. We were on the third floor so not sure if other rooms are different. The pool was down for most of our stay and when it was open again, it was ICE cold. Breakfast was decent.

We stayed at this hotel for our family vacation in Philly. The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the City Hall. The historic landmarks, shopping places are within walking distance. The open roof hop on hop off bus boarding point is just next to the hotel, if you want to avail that. The room was big and clean. Breakfast is quite ordinary. Better quality and more item options are generally available in similar priced hotels. However, the Reading Terminal Market is just across the street, where plenty of options are available for breakfast and lunch. Many other restaurants are at walking distance. The service disappointed us. We stayed at this hotel for four nights. We needed to change the linens and clear the trash can after the second night. We requested the in-floor housekeeping staff for the same. She said we are not in the service list, as we are not checking out that day. I know it is a common practice now after covid at all the hotels and housekeeping service is not scheduled during the tenure of the stay. But linens are changed by the in-floor housekeeping staffs gladly on requests. The housekeeping lady here asked me to make the request at the housekeeping number, which we did. Guess what, no one came and replaced the linens in next couple of hours. Then we requested another housekeeping lady and she catered our request (similar to what we experience in other hotels).
