I’ve been waiting for the Shuttle from the airport for an hour and have called the hotel twice. They say it runs every 20 minutes but they apparently they lie. I hope the hotel doesn’t suck as bad as this experience.

This hotel was a mixed bag in our opinion. The Good: The space was great for a couple traveling with a teen, he could sleep on the sleeper sofa in the living room and we could sleep privately in the closed off bedroom. The room was very well set up, spacious, well lit, lots of charging spots, and clean. The bathroom had nice towels and toiletries and it had a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, and coffee station. Shower was fantastic, bed was comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet on the weekend was well stocked with a good variety of options. The Not-So-Good: Most of the issues we had I would put down to them being so poorly staffed that they were barely functional despite the good attempts of those who were there. Our room didn't get cleaned at all the first day, the second day they took our towels and didn't restock. Breakfast on Friday was table served vs buffet and they only had one waitress for about 15-20 tables. The busser and a manager stepped in to help but it took over an hour for breakfast which is completely unacceptable. The front desk always had a line of people waiting to be helped and when I tried to call down to get more towels, I sat on hold for about 15 minutes before I finally gave up. The only other thing I wanted to mention, not staffing related, is that it was very noisy. There is a large central indoor courtyard area that is open all the way to the roof with the rooms on walkways lining the central area. Noise echoed all the way up and our room specifically was on the second floor right above the restaurant and bar area and my son ended up having to sleep with ear plugs because of the noise level.

I stayed in a King Suite in room 535. This room is close to the elevator but the room is well sound proofed from elevator traffic . This specific room does not have the option for an adjoining room. The suite has a bedroom, bathroom with shower/tub combo, and separate living room. There is a door separating the bedroom from the living room. The hallway separating the bedroom and living room has a closet, microwave, and mini fridge. The living room has a king sized pull out sofa in it. Clean, comfortable, all business and great for play. The king sized bed and the pillows are very comfortable. I cannot speak for the pull out couch though as I never used it. Excellent staff and customer service, convenient shuttle service to the airport for free.

My stay was wonderful, the hotel was great! Food was okay, staff was pleasant! However the problem came after I left and that is why I gave them a one. I called this hotel everyday for 7 day, left message after message for the manager and now it’s 30 days later and nothing. My sister and I went home for a funeral, we decided to check out on Sunday morning. I saw a couple days later that I was charged for two extra days, I immediately called and the front desk associate said that I checked out on Monday.. I said no the young lady checked me out at 6:30am Sunday morning.. Needless to say this has not been resolved and if I got a callback you got one!!

This was supposed to be my 3rd stay at this hotel. It is an older property with some updates. A typical airport property. Fine for overnight. But rooms are dingy and not great. However, this time I was given the runaround at the front desk and I left. Maurice attempted to check me in. I had been working all day at an event, was soaking wet from rain and exhausted and loaded down with equipment and bags. We are Marriott Titanium. Immediately I was asked for my iD, credit card and AAA card, no welcome or greeting, despite putting in the number at the time of reservation. I gave my id and credit card! , however told him my AAA packed away in my bags and was met with an indignant stare - okay I'll get the card. I unpack my bag to get to my purse, to get to my wallet, to get to my card. Maurice had a "gotcha moment" my AAA card was expired!! "This is expired, you will be charged for parking and your rate will be adjusted." I tried to explain that our membership was still valid, but the card was just an older one. He wasn't having it. I tried to explain I had just stayed there a couple weeks ago without issue. He didn't offer to let me call AAA to verify membership or offer any solution - I felt my integrity was questioned. The manager standing nearby barely looked up' --Overall, just rude. I understand my card was expired, I also know there were other ways to resolve the situation. I asked to cancel the reservation- I went to the DELTA hotel down the road. Was created kindly, checked-in without issue, offered access to the Delta Lounge 24/7 access to complimentary snacks and beverages, and upgraded to a suite. The Delta is still an airport hotel, but the service and cleanliness outshines for sure. And...I used my AAA. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I won't be back to the PHL Airport Sheraton.

I work in hospitality currently as a reservation manager at my property and never in all my years have I been treated so poorly. I booked a stay here for 2 nights for my sister who turned 62 as a gift that she could just get away and relax. To my surprise when I went to check in I was told my reservation was cancelled. I looked on my Marriott app I said how did this happen, I did not cancel. I was told the general manager canceled it and there was nothing they could do. I presume because I booked a employee discount rate and they were sold out my reservation was cancelled. I found out that they try to charge the card I used to make the reservation, by the way not a prepaid or advance pay. The card declined and they canceled my reservation. No one reached out to me for an updated method of payment. I later found out that an email was sent at 7:45 am that my reservation was cancelled. I wasn’t even allowed the Decency of checking in at check in time. This was unheard of . My Marriott rewards meant nothing, my employment meant nothing. I am even ashamed to be in hospitality. This is how we treat the people that work so hard everyday and when we try to use our discount you cancel my reservation. Shame on the general manager and shame on the hotel staff they didn’t do anything to care of a fellow employee or customer. I walked away very furious with no resolution. I could of been there for a funeral or anything they didn’t care, they canceled my reservation like I didn’t even matter. Recognize that your pay check comes from guest stays. I could of been an auditor for Marriott and still have been treated like trash. Remember what goes around comes right back around and a lot of these hotels are falling and failing because they don’t care and just hire no class, no customer service folks to work in operation tearing the hotel industry down to the ground.

The bad reviews almost kept me away but I got a good price that included parking. The hotel room was large, clean, and updated except for the shower. The pipes and shower head looked, operated and sounded like they were circa 1970s. The hotel has a large atrium so ambient noise could be heard in the living area of the suite but not the bedroom, particularly with the door closed. The elevators need to be renovated; the flooring is pealing up in multiple places. Absolutely no elite recognition and the afternoon front desk staff was rude at check in but the ladies working at the front desk during the Night Shift were very nice. Although the hotel sells rooms with club access, I was told the club is closed. I had no trouble finding parking and didn’t encounter extremely long lines to exit the parking lot.

Not bad at all. Hotel is quiet. Top of chair was frayed. Room was clean and of adequate size. Plenty of comfortable seating in the lobby. One issue was when I was getting ready to leave. As I was in my car, there was a slow line to drive out of the parking lot. There is a gate and you have to insert your parking ticket to either pay, or prove you paid already. I did not have any issue, but a few people seemed to take a long time to figure out how to get it to work. Thus it took a good 15 minutes for me to leave the parking lot.

Staff was amazing. Arrived and checked in with Charmine who effortlessly signed me up for Bonvoy and a complimentary adult beverage! Clean room, comfortable bed and good nights sleep was next. In the morning, Tierra W. helped me out with arranging a late checkout so I could relax in my room instead of the airport. Awesome customer service! Kudos to all!!
