The treatment we received from the costumer service was humiliating. We asked for a room with two beds but my husband changed his mind and asked for one. The individual got upset and threw the money and ID at us and voted for us 😭😭😭. What a humiliation, we just wanted to rest and be safe since the weather was very bad and we decided to spend it somewhere safe. Don't go there, this person is an ogre. The treatment is very bad

Stayed here on May 20th with my boyfriend, (he got transferred to Philadelphia from NYC for a week) So we booked somewhere closed to his work, for 3 days.

When we arrived, the front desk person was very rude, the price was a lie, the guy on the phone told us $55, then when we arrived, he told us it's $75 +Plus $5 for the key card.

Room was outdated, rugs smelt, the tub was dirty, full of hairs, and the shower head was dripping waters all night long. We didn't use their towels, as they got stains on them. The next morning, we decided to check out and stayed at the Roosevelt Inn across the Blvd.

As i did not fell safe to walk out of the room to get a soda at night time, there are prostitutes and some drunk guys walking around the hall. As for securities, there are just 1 guard at the door, which just basically sat there all night, walk when he got bored, but there are cameras around, but the owners seem to not care what people do around his motel.

Think twice before you stay here. ^_^

Too start I called the hotel and asked how much it was for a night. The lady who answered the phone said $55 but when I got there the price was $75 and he sits there and tells me I miss understood the price on the phone. Too end the story short he ended up going psycho in the lobby when I was trying to get a room. Beating on the glass screaming at the top of his lungs demanding that he never said it was $55 but even the people in line behind me heard the same thing. so then he refused me and everybody else who was in line behind me put up a big sign that said no rooms available and made us all leave. I never been treated or seen anyone treated like that in any establishment in my life.

Between the crack heads and the winos. The rats and the roaches was the high point of this stay. Place was dirty, workers are nasty. When I rent a room , it shouldnt come with romm mates. This was the worst motel we ever stay at. Wife is still having nightmares. We are thinkin she may need therapy. Philly is a dirty city and this motel reflects the people whom live it in, I would NEVER stay here again or visit philly PA

So my boyfriend and I decided to check out the Hub Motel because it was in a great location and decent prices. We arrive and the clerk barely speaks English, which we didn't really mind at first. We got our room key and headed upstairs. First off, the bed had NO fitted sheet on the mattress, only a flat sheet with a comforter and pillows. Therefore, every time we would move on the bed, the sheets would move as well. As I got up to use the bathroom, the sheets had moved along with the pillows, and I looked down and I saw a huge blood stain on the mattress. I was speechless. I made my boyfriend look at it to make sure it really was blood, instead maybe wine or some sort of liquid. It definitely appeared to be blood. At this point, I was freaking out. I was up the whole night, trying to pick up other things that are wrong with the room. The curtains in the room were torn and ripped in various spots, and the carpet beneath the curtain had ANOTHER blood stain (near the window.) . Disgusting. We happened to leave the next morning before the check out time. Later that day, my boyfriend called the police and reported what we have encountered at the Hub motel. Police said they were going to send 2 cars to check it out. And that was the last that I heard. So, please don't EVER stay here. I honestly will never forget that night.

\It is not as horrific as everyone may think it is. It is not a place where you may want to spend all night. It's ideal for going next door and drinking heavily and just be able to walk under 5 mins to crash and then leave when you wake up at 11:30. I don't recommend using their towels. So if you're looking for a really low-key get-away to feel young and somewhat irresponsible, this is a good way to go.

This place, is what it is. If you are looking for a place to take a one night stand, mistress, or someone you'd rather forget the next morning, most people in Northeast Philly know this is where to go. You definetly don't want to use it with kids, or as a vacation stay. It is the local meat factory for unscrupulous men and women, basically.

The front clerk was nice, served us with a smile, they raised the old price from $60 per night to $65 per night on week days, plus the $5 card key charge. (Which I think was a little over the price, since the room itself is poorly managed.

1: The AC's filter needed cleaning badly, but nobody cleaned it before letting the new customers enter the room.

2: The furnitures were wiggling and almost looked like they can fall off any moments.

3: Window curtains were ripped apart, and letting outside lights in at night.

4: Shower drain were slow. No amenities, except for 2 bars of soaps.

5: Prostitutes with their "clients" in and out all night. Drunkies knocking on the wrong doors, screaming, yelling at 2 am and on.

Will not be choosing this motel ever, until it gets new furnitures, or more in room amenities.

It used to be $65 + $5 for the keycard per night. But after the remodeling, I do not know if they raise their prices at all.
