Mine and my partners first time in New York, check in was easy - room was a good size especially for what I’ve heard about New York hotels with a wardrobe and features such as TV, dressing gowns, hairdryer and all conditioner shampoo etc. Shower wouldn’t work so we rang reception on first night and had maintenance guy there within a few minutes. Room cleaned well every day.
Perfect location, starbucks two doors down, grand central less than a 5 min walk and taxis to Times Square about $10 or 20 min walk. Wasn’t noisy at all despite being in a central location right next to the road, I was expecting to be woken up as I am a light sleeper and in this particular location it’s what I would have expected but didn’t happen once.
Staff were all friendly, always someone on reception to help and on check out they let us leave our bags in the hotel for the rest of the day until we went to the airport.
Would definitely recommend and stay here again, couldn’t fault it at all! Thanks again to all the staff

Just spent a week in New York with family members at this hotel upon arrival at the Iberostar the staff at reception seemed friendly (always a good sign first impressions). We upgraded our room with regards to the bed situation before arrival which was also much needed although still seemed a tad on the small side within the room (4 sharing).
The overall room was clean the maid service was daily however the bathroom was tiny in comparison the fixtures (lights) were rusty it could have done with a bit of attention to detail. The vicinity in which the hotel was situated was perfect Park Avenue was the quietest location in the city we have stayed (collectively we have all stayed in the city quite a few times ...8). Another added bonus was the fact that from our stay (9/1/20 until 16/1/20) the weather was exceptionally mild only one afternoon of rain plus we had to buy T-shirt’s as we packed jumpers.

My husband and I stayed here from 1st Dec to 6th Dec 2019, from the check in to leaving everything was excellent. It was our first time to New York so we had a lot to see and do. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, but I must give a special mention to Stephanie the concierge she has her own little desk in reception. She was helpful, very informative and she recommended "Sams Place" a little Italian restaurant just around the corner for our last night, she phoned and made the reservation and the food was excellent. The hotel is situated in a excellent location, within minutes walk of Central Station which we made full use of, Bryant Park is just around the corner as is the Library. Within walking distance of Central Park, Radio City, Rockafellar Centre and Times Square. If you are going in the Christmas period we would thoroughly recommend seeing the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular it was excellent, have seen many west end shows in London and this was one of the best shows we have ever seen, brilliant. Lovely hotel and would recommend 100%. Enjoy.

The hotel is very well located near Grand Central Station. You are in the middle of Manhattan in an upscale neighborhood. We had a nice room bigger than I was expecting for NY standards. The room was nicely decorated and very confortable.
The first day the toilet was not completely cleaned and the last day when leaving with our bags the boy was chatting at the front desk and didn’t move a finger to help us with our baggage. I wonder if he has a salary and why they are paying it.

Nice hotel in a classy location. Rooms are small even by NYC standards but they are well designed to make the most of the limited space and they are well maintained. The hotel is a boutique hotel but, unlike a lot of boutique hotels in NYC, it is not hipster. I appreciated the traditional décor. Comfortable bed. No coffee maker in room. Business center charges for internet use.

We were very happy with our choice of the Iberostar hotel. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and made us feel very much at home. We chose the bed and breakfast option, which meant a short walk every morning to the restaurant where we were served an excellent breakfast at a great price! We did a lot of walking because we were so well situated for restaurants, theaters and of course the Empire State Building. I highly recommend this Iberostar hotel and would be happy to return at any time!

Hotel was in a perfect location. Close to Grand Central -took Coach USA express from Newark which stopped outside the station 4 min walk to the hotel
Hotel was clean - our room 1412 had a good view of the Empire State. Rooms are tight (2 adults and 2 kids) but perfect for a short stay. Staff was polite and helpful - all round good experience. Bring an empty water bottle as you can refill it daily in the gym area
Would recommend to anyone looking to avoid the "Time Square" type hotels.

This hotel is very central to the major attractions, you're walking distance from empire state building, top of the rock, time square. The hotel is small, no restaurant or bar on site, but you can do a bed and breakfast option, and the neighboring hotel , 2 blocks away serves you a special menu, with lots of choices. They have a seating area in the lobby with a fireplace, a concierge til 5pm, and a doorman. The rooms are small, but that new York. It's very clean, Iberostar has gone away with single use plastics, part of the wave of change program, so Eco friendly. The from desk manager, Rachel, took very good care of us. It was my birthday, so I got a card and a bottle of wine from the hotel. All and all, the price was very competitive, staff was very friendly, I will be staying here next time in New York.

Great location for New York sightseeing . Close to grand central station and time square. Very comfortable rooms , helpful staff . Hairdryers, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. Clean towels every day if needed. Safety deposit box in bedroom. Rooms to the rear of the hotel have good views of the Empire State Building . Road outside is fairly quiet so hardly any road noise . Concierge from 9-5 every day , very knowledgeable and helpful . No tea / coffee making facilities which I missed but there is a Starbucks nearby.

Very pleased with our stay! The hotel staff is amazing!
We travelled to New York City in part to celebrate our child's birthday. Upon arrival, mini cupcakes and a birthday card were displayed in our room for our child - a welcoming surprise!
The room / bathroom were clean and well maintained. The location is excellent - a short walk to Central Terminal Station, Times Square, the metro (located in the Central Terminal), the waterfront, etc.
The windows are triple glazed, which greatly minimised street noise, even though the hotel's location on Park Avenue was quiet during the evenings / at night.
Tetra Pak water containers were provided upon arrival.
We would return to this hotel in the future.

They do receive packages and parcels for you and deliver it to your room. However, they might charge you for excessive delivery.
