We stayed three nights recently at this excellent location. This was the first time at a Riu and I will stay again when I can. Check-in was easy and our room was ready early which was wonderful after a long flight. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. We slept soundly. The shower had a rain head and a handheld and was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was a nice surprise with anything one might want including good coffee. There was a line after 8 am but it moved quickly. We would have liked to try the evening buffet, but it did not work out with our schedule. Staff were very nice and efficient. I would stay here next time and would stay at other Rius if I have an opportunity.
I picked this hotel because it was comparatively inexpensive and its location in the heart of the Theater District. I was very impressed by how helpful the front desk was, the cleanliness of the room, the decor, and the incredible breakfast buffet. It is about 15 short blocks to Central Park for anyone looking for a pleasant run or walk. In addition, it is just a block or two from Schmackery's Cookies (yum!).
Have just returned from a four night stay and was very impressed with the hotel and it's location. The hotel is located 100 yards from Times Square, central for all the Broadway theatres & all the area has to offer. The Hotel was very good, the room we had was excellent, quiet and comfortable. While we were it was my birthday, whilst checking in for breakfast the young lady taking our names, wished me a happy birthday and when we returned to our room that evening a token gift of 4 chocolates had been left in the room wishing me a happy, it's the little things that make an impact on you and I would definitely recommend this hotel and the RIU chain of hotels and would be very happy to stay at RIU hotel again. The only reason I rated the hotel as very good instead of excellent is there is scaffolding at the front of the hotel and building work across the road.…
What can I say , location is probably the best thing about this hotel. Breakfast was not all that , felt like no care went into the food. Rooms were in need of a deep clean and some repairs in the bathroom, walls were dirty in room. Shower ceiling paint peeling away. No hot drink making facilities in the room Gym is hardly a gym , it has one chest press , but random and one rack of dumbbells and the temp at 24 degrees made it unbearable to do any kind of proper workout!! No chill out area/ bar for guests to just hang out if they wanted!!! Queue for breakfast was a joke some days and right across the elevator doors!! Would I stay again - no
Super ! Super ! location , right next to Time square. Subway stations only 4 blocks left and right and the bus station only 4 blocks. The hotel is spotless clean ,great breakfast ( there is a line for breakfast but it moves pretty fast to be fair. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family . Right on the subway line for JFK international airport.
