ArloSoho is a beautiful place, everyone is so nice here and it was a pleasure being here. And even if you are not sleeping there the restaurant and the rooftop are quite stunning. Thank you so much ArloSoho !
I was very disappointed at the state of the room - such as black duct tape around furniture? At a 4-Star Hotel? Even the trash can was bothering me and that was the least problematic item, I was getting annoyed that I even got annoyed with that. But I can ignore that but the main issue was that the bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed and no one came to fix it like promised. No one followed up. I found hair in the shower as if they rushed to clean and we didn’t get to check in almost an hour after check-in time. It was just the lack of attention to detail. Still, I have to give credit where they’re due. I loved the terrace, it was such a vibe and their restaurants are very good. Also, Lobby Host Marcus C. was the best and I’m glad I got to meet him at least towards the end of my stay, because he really saved the experience for me personally. He was the most friendly and welcoming employee that I interacted with at the front desk.…
Great location and amazing staff! Rooftop bar is very cool and lots of space (also quiet space) on G and 1st floor for work. Superfast wifi helps. As does 24hr coffee and snacks in the reception. Breakfast (brunch) served only on weekends but their recommended Maman- cafe is absolutely fantastic.
Amazing Roof Top Bar and Staff. I recently visited the Arlo SoHo, came from Mexico City and had a wonderful time at the rooftop. The view is insane, I really enjoyed the sunset and of course: the drinks. Thank you so much Terrell and Maite at the bar for being so nice and friendly. Big shoutout to Moises, one of the managers of the hotel for his 5-star service, he was extremely helpful when asking about recommendations and activities in the area. Next time I’m in NYC, I’ll definitely come back to Arlo SoHo!
This is a clean and modern hotel with relentlessly helpful, cheerful staff which is why my review is not as bad as it could have been. It was clearly not a good few days for the hotel - the air conditioning did not work and so it was impossible to sleep and on two of the days, there was no water all day, once because of a problem where the hotel was located. The staff, were really good in giving us one night's free accommodation and a few freebies to ease the pain but it did rather ruin an expensive holiday. The hotel rooms themselves are minute, and it was impossible to open large suitcases and we were moved from the room where the air conditioning didn't work to an even smaller room - where the air conditioning didn't work either and we had a great view of the building site next to us. The area was noted in the travel brochure from Trail Finders as in trendy Soho. Well, if you like a lot of tourist tat and fake designer handbags, you could call it trendy. Nonetheless, there was some nice eateries nearby and you are in easy reach of Greenwich Village. It is about 20 minutes from Times Square on the metro so you don't exactly walk into happening NYC.…
