I booked the King superior room. The room was nice, pretty much like staying in a studio apartment. The kitchen had a fridge/freezer, a working stove and oven, sink and even a dishwasher. There were coffee mugs, plates, utensils and kitchenware provided however you will need to pickup cleaning supplies like a sponge and soap if you wish to use the kitchen. The room was located in the south building on the 3rd floor. There is only one elevator which didn't really bother me since I was on the 3rd floor I would just walk up. In the same building there is a sushi restaurant which I unfortunately wasn't able to try. I was staying at this hotel since it was close proximity to the hospital where my family member was getting surgery so the room setup was perfect for me as I was staying a week. I had called the day before to see if they could hold my luggage since I had to be the hospital by 6am, the staff member I spoke to whose name I forget now (sorry!) was a sweetheart and told me that I can just pass by and they would take care of it. When I arrived early morning, that is exactly what they did for me and when I arrived later that evening my luggage was there with no issues.
I'll be honest, most of the time I was at the hospital but for the time I was in the room it served it purpose and I slept well. Since my room was facing 23rd it did get a bit noisy at times but I was able to sleep through it. One of the curtains was a little difficult to close since the drapery rod was removed but I just stood on one of chairs to close it shut.
If there is one things from my experience I didn't enjoy was occasionally my room along with the hallway reeked of pot. Not sure if someone was smoking in the room or the hallway but it was annoying to me.

Such a welcome I received when I walked in the door! The room is adorable, very roomy for NY with lots of windows that let in the sunshine and fresh air. Oh, and the balcony is a bonus! The hotel is quiet too with very little street noise coming through. Perfect location for what I was in town for and the hotel staff is amazing!

it was a vary pleasant experience over all. The attention of the people at the lobby, in particular from Alvaro was excellent, he was super pleasant and helpful. I really liked having your own kitchen, it gives the opportunity to scape NY's sometimes expensive prices for food.

I had previously stayed here in 2018 and been very happy. I don’t know if the hotel changed or my standards have but it seemed a little sleazier this time.
The room was nothing much to look at and the view was hilariously unappealing - I could see right into the office next door and the only other things in sight were cracked brickwork, exposed wiring and a huge a/c unit covered with green sludge.
BUT the location is really great, the price was pretty low for Manhattan (although there were a bunch of additional fees on my bill, so not as low as it first seemed) and there was a heatwave outside and the room air conditioning really worked.
Not a hotel for a romantic getaway, but if you’re travelling solo and on a budget you could do worse.

I don’t usually write negative reviews unless I have tried to address things with management first. I tried…and the issues did not get resolved. So here is my review of both the positive and negative aspects of this hotel.
POSITIVE: -The hotel is well located, walking distance from a lot of main attractions -We had a room with a King bed and pull out single futon. The room was decent size for NYC -The king bed was comfortable -We had a small kitchenette which was functional -We found the front desk staff friendly and responsive to our requests.
NEGATIVE:
-The reservation was for three people but the room was not set up for three. Front desk immediately sent up bedding and towels -The room was superficially clean…there were stains on the bathroom door that we were able to wipe away (not sure why cleaning staff didn’t do this) -The toilet was dirty (see picture)…it was not stained…it was just not cleaned -Cleaning staff had no problem taking away the daily tip we left but left dirty glasses and garbage -The cleaning staff would take away the wet towels but not replace them. We had to ask the front desk daily for new towels
After three days of the above, I emailed the manager Ms. Johanna Sone to let her know about the dirty state of the room and lack of towels etc.. I never heard back but started getting more towels; the toilet however, remained dirty.

This hotel has horrible customer service when you call to ask to speak to a manager they get rude with you and states there isn’t a manager available and they will not let you leave a message. We stayed here for my daughters birthday it was their first time to come to New York so I checked the reviews and it seem like a pretty nice hotel to stay in but when we first checked in we got two rooms and in both rooms it was marks all over the walls in one of the rooms the kitchen Fossett was all messed up it also had an ashtray in the room but it was a non-smoking room and smell like marijuana in the hallway It was a big burnt mark on the floor in the bathroom mind you again non-smoking room the curtains have stains all over them The heater had a all sock someone left there so clearly the room was not properly clean well but I didn’t complain we stayed and made the best of it we checked out. And a day later I got a charge for smoking in the room which we don’t even smoke but you could smell smoke as soon as you got off the elevator in the hallway and I’ve been trying to get this Problem taken care of every since March and here it’s May now still waiting for management to contact mean regarding my refund $175

I regret choosing this hotel. The beautifully photographed and described King Deluxe was a letdown.
The Bad:
A clogged sink took over a day and multiple complaints to fix. Drapes in the room had large, suspicious (blood?) stains (photo attached). Shower caulk tape looked filthy, like a breeding ground for bacteria (photo attached). The "soundproof" room was anything but – hollow windows let in all the noise of Manhattan, plus I could hear neighbors and unsettling crackling sounds from the walls. Felt like a bait-and-switch. You check in at a lovely lobby, only to be sent to the North Tower, which resembles a student dorm. The room itself was rundown – scratched walls, damaged furniture, and even the clock was 10 minutes slow. Despite sharing feedback at the front desk, management never followed up.
The Good:
The water pressure was decent. Overall, I expected much better for the price and description.

I had the worst experience with this place. It is run down, there were stains on the curtains and bed. Hotel 32l32 is not a boutique hotel and definitely not like the pictures shown. The mini fridge in the room was all sticky and there is no place to set up your luggage. Looks very cheap, like a motel. The front desk is extremely rude, they do not help and the hotel has a weird reservation system where they charge you 50% when you make the reservation and then 50% at the desk plus a 175 deposit.

I was attracted to this hotel for the kitchen. The pictures online were also beautiful. Upon arrival the room needed a fresh coat of paint and new pots and pans. The cookware is Teflon and was completely scratched. I called down to the front desk and they sent out new pots and pans. Just for reference, there’s no soap or cleaning supplies available for the kitchen. The bed does have a pillow top as described, it was so incredibly soft. I was unable to sleep on it. The shower had a massive amount of black mold around the edge of the tub. They had used a clear caulk to cover it. Some areas were still exposed. I personally have several chronic health issues and so this was very unnerving to me. Also the air conditioning didn’t work. Fortunately it was in the 50s so we just kept the window open. The staff was very polite and helpful. Maybe we just got a dud room?

Booked this through Tickets at Work for a 4 night stay with husband and teenager. We had a room with king bed and kitchenette. The location is decent- easy walk to Broadway theaters, Bryant Park, and Union Square. The room was very spacious as far as NYC hotels go.
However, it definitely needs improvement as far as cleanliness goes. The bed was upholstered (ew) and the mattress did not quite fit. The gap was filled with dirt and hair. The comforter had a large round hole and there were stains in the sheets. Housekeeping has to be requested 24 hours in advance. We were unable to get an extra blanket for our daughter who was sleeping on a flip-out floor chair. We ended up sleeping all three of us in the bed.
No amenities as far as room service, porter, or parking (although there is a reasonable priced garage a block away).
They do not allow any refunds and add a random $150 charge as well as a $175 hold against room damage.
Overall, a meh stay. Would rank this as 2.5 stars if I could as location and size are good.
