It was as if the room was part way through a renovation. There was plaster hanging from one corner of the ceiling, there was a terrible plaster job in another. Grout was missing from the bathroom floor. The furniture was a bit shabby. On the other hand, the location is excellent…except that was an art installation in the Rockefeller plaza across the way that had tonal music emanating all night.
We stayed for 4 nights. Location was perfect, close to most of what we wanted to do. Bed comfortable, bathroom functional but tired. Towels, hand towels were so small. Lifts slow and sometimes don’t work. Small reception area and polite but I wouldn’t go as far to say friendly staff. I would stay here again given the location and the rate we got it at.
Hotel is located across from Radio City Music Hall. Checkin was quick but reception area was very small. Room was spacious but I wish there had been more than 2 pillows on the bed. As for the bathroom, there was just one very small bar of soap which I guess was for both showering and washing hands. Also, I had 2 bath and hand towels but just one wash cloth. As a Radisson Rewards member I was supposed to receive two bottles of water but there was none in my room. Overall, though, I would stay here again if I could get a good rate as I did for this stay as the location is perfect. The subway to either airport was just a couple blocks away (transfer to bus for LGA and AirTrain for JFK).
Great Location which obviously is really key. Everything else average or below. For four days they did not give us card key for our room so every time we got back to the hotel someone had to escort us to our room and open it for us. No breakfast or restaurant was available and there were some refurbishment going on in the hotel so one of the elevators was barely usable. Things around the lobby, prople going in and out with materials...
