Many travelers commend the Millennium Premier New York Times Square for its prime location near Times Square and its clean, spacious rooms boasting impressive views. While the atmosphere and decor receive mixed reviews, with some guests finding them outdated, the hotel's cleanliness and friendly service often receive high marks.
Amenities like the convenient grab-and-go breakfast are appreciated, though some guests feel there's room for improvement. Despite some reports of noise and service issues, the hotel's attentive staff and the allure of its central location make it a popular choice for visitors to the city.

Detailed Reviews
We usually stay near Central Park, but needed easy access for a quick weekend trip to the city and a Broadway show. This hotel was an excellent choice, centrally located, very quiet, clean, and a great simple breakfast. They even had almond milk on request for a lactose intolerant diet. The rooms were the largest we've ever had in the city, with a sitting room and enormous bathroom. Best of all, the price was very reasonable, probably one of the most affordable weekend stays we've experienced in many years.

I needed to be in NYC for medical purposes on February 1, 2021, when NYC got snowed in with a record setting blizzard. I was uncertain if I would be able to drive home that day due to the snow. Monique, who worked a 12 hour shift during the snowstorm, was wonderful and immediately agreed to let me keep the room for a late check-out so that I could monitor changing conditions and promised me a room at the same rate I paid the night before if I needed one again that night. I ended up staying. The hotel was wonderful in all other regards (clean, convenient, reasonably priced) but the service was special!

Monique went over and beyond for our entire stay. When an issue arose, she handled it and checked in multiple times to ensure things were still ok. She was very friendly and made our stay very pleasant! Kudos to her especially at a time when customer service seems so poor everywhere. Give this woman a raise!!
Miguel was very friendly and super helpful with baggage. Housekeeping was prompt and cleaned rooms daily while many hotels are not offering this. We stayed while the remnants of the hurricane passed through and even though we heard lots of staff called out, the ones who were there made sure the guests had all we needed.

I arrived in the late afternoon, walked through the revolving door and entered into a small, but pleasant waiting and reception area. The person at the check was friendly and personable ensuring a fast and smooth process. I was given my key and made my way to my room.
The room was perfect for me. Not too small and well furnished. I was only staying for 1 night, so it was just a place to rest my very weary head after 28 hours of travelling! The bed was comfortable and it had everything I needed for a good night's sleep. I had a quick look into the bathroom and my only comment is that the shower perhaps needs updating. It seemed like it was slightly overdue.
Other than that though, everything else was great. The location is perfectly placed within minutes of Times Square. I mean minutes if you're a slow walker! You really are in the heart of the action!
The room was quiet so there was no noise to disturb me, the coffee machine helped me in the morning and my package included breakfast (on the go). It's quite easy, you just go down to the floor and they ask your name, they go into the kitchen and come bag with a bag with breakfast. I had a pastry, cereal, yoghurt, orange juice and enough to give me the morning boost I needed.
I checked out the following morning and left my suitcase with them for the day, picking it up in the early evening. The staff in the reception area were extremely polite and pleasant while I was waiting in the reception area drinking my coffee and waiting for the rain to dissipate.
For me, the location was better than perfect, the price was good (for New York City!), the room was clean and the service was good too! All in all, it was a short but sweet stay.
Would I stay here again? Sure I would!

Stayed for 4 nights 14th February. Wow.. what a fantastic hotel. From arrival to check out, the staff could not have done enough for us. After a long journey we were welcomed by Monique.. a very warm welcome it was to. We checked in despite being early and went to our room. Monique even called us after a short time to check we were happy with it. The room itself was spacious and spotlessly clean. Floor to ceiling windows meant we had a fabulous view over to Times Square. It’s very secure, you need a room key to get to any of the floors in the lift, brilliant idea. Breakfast was complimentary each morning. Wonderful selection of bagels, cereals, bread, cheese & cold meats and pastries. We could not fault it at all. The coffee in the machine tasted great and was available in abundance along with teas, water and fruit juice. Great start to the day. There was also complimentary drinks in the evening however we just didn’t get back in time to sample these. The location was great, easy to get to tube stations, either end of the street virtually and a lot of the attractions of the city in a walkable distance. We honestly could not have improved on this hotel in the slightest and I would recommend staying here 100%. Special thanks to Monique, you really were the star for us and you are a credit to this hotel. It does have a smaller but very friendly atmosphere here. By far the best hotel I have visited in a long time, in fact i would go as far as to say ever!
We will be back on our next visit to the city!

I was Confused with My two night stay There and Was Uncomfortable with too many things for that it to be a High end hotel with a 4 star rating. Our Room Had No Refrigerator, the Iron was Broken and the staff took long to bring us whatever we needed, we sometimes needed to call twice. They offered a free breakfast that was made for a school field trip. We’ve gone to Lower rated hotels that have offered way more for the same prices we paid and we expected more from A high rated hotel

We chose the hotel for the price/location and it turns out that those were the only good things about our stay here. We went to check in at 3:30 and while we were the only people in the lobby, we were told by the front desk lady that "we are in the middle of a staff rotation and we should be seated to wait for a couple minutes for the next staff member".....not the warm welcoming we were looking for but we took a seat and waited, nobody else came and she eventually just asked for my last name and gave me keys to our room.
We checked in and immediately realized the room had not been cleaned properly. Stains on the comforter/carpet and the last guests' charger was left plugged into the wall. We called down to report all this and were told that they were fully committed for the evening and didn't have anywhere to move us to (on a Tuesday night, highly unlikely) and were forced to sleep in a dirty room for the night. We had also put comments on our reservation that it was my birthday celebration/first time in NY so we would love a higher floor with a great view and we were placed on the sixth floor facing a brick building....happy bday to me.
The "continental breakfast" is a to go bag with breakfast items in it which was fine, nice to have something offered during these times, just wish there was also a fridge/microwave in the room for access. We also called down for extra water/slippers and never received them, so just another point of a lack of attention to detail with the staff.
Overall, we did not spend that much time at the hotel so it is good for anyone that just needs to sleep and shower, but for guests that need basic cleanliness and attentive staff, this is not the place for you. We will be staying somewhere else on our next trip to NY.

Every staff member we encountered was super-friendly. Room was very very clean. The location was fantastic, just off Times Square...walk to so many tourist attractions! There's no ice machine, so if you want ice, have to call housekeeping and they bring it up to your room. The free breakfast was just a continental/cold breakfast (nothing to write home about) with fruit, cereal, pastries, coffee. There was also free evening reception with wine, cheese and crackers. The only down side to our visit was the time of year it was unseasonably warm and the air conditioning had not been activated yet so the room was too hot. They only solved it by opening our window, but then you heard lots of street noise.

Stayed only one night, but it was a wonderful hotel and would definitely return. Despite the central location, it was fairly quiet and this hotel was compact and easy to navigate. Front desk staff was helpful and quick!
The room was comfortable with a full couch and floor-to-ceiling windows that included a bit of Times Square in the view. Bathroom was very large for NYC with a full-sized tub and shower. Bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was simple, but served by cheerful staff who really started off my day on the right foot. Coffee was REALLY good! Thanks guys!

Upon entering, the hotel looks somewhat posh, front desk was friendly, check in was fast. Once in my room, I noticed a musky smell, the carpets are disgusting, the shower looks gross, completely outdated and to be honest, the room just looks completely beat up. It has a HUGE window so of course the room is hot, I tried to turn the AC on but it wasn’t letting me. The fan however turned on. I called front desk, spoke to a man who was rude btw, and he proceeds to tell me that it’s still winter so it’s running on their winter system so the AC isn’t available and if I’m hot, to turn off the fan and open the window. OPEN THE WINDOW! It’s 80 degrees, they market themselves as “Upscale” and they want me to open the window because they refuse to accommodate their $$$ spending customers & save a few pennies. (Which is typical for the type of owners this hotel belongs to) 4.0 rating? How???? The rooms once upon a time I can see that maybe they were cute just by them not looking like your basic hotel room, but it’s 100% dirty, beat up and not posh at all. The manager/front desk (a woman) seemed apologetic and friendlier compared to the man with the accent I spoke to earlier. She tried to look for another room but told me their AC will still be unavailable in all rooms. That AC mess is complete bs! It’s just another way to save money while charging same or higher prices because they spent money on good paint and a fancy sign. It’s NYC, unless it’s snowing, it’s humid and hot due to the weather and the large buildings which traps the heat in.
