The Moxy NYC Lower East Side beckons with its stylish decor and vibrant atmosphere, earning praise for its clean rooms and modern design. Guests highlight the convenience of on-site amenities like the rooftop lounge and coffee shop, balanced by critiques of the snug room size and occasional elevator delays. While many appreciate the hotel's prime location for exploring the city, the added $30 destination fee has raised some eyebrows regarding value. Moreover, the lively ambiance comes with a caveat; noise levels from various sources have troubled those in search of tranquility. Despite this, the hotel's service receives accolades for its attentive and friendly staff.

Had a great stay at the Moxy lower east side. The decor is to die for and I had a wonderful view of the Empire State Building from my room. The rooms are a bit peculiar as the sink for the bathroom is right in your bedroom but it was fun and didn’t bother me, just different from other hotels. Staff was super friendly. You’re charged a $30 fee everyday but you can use it at their cafe or bar. The pastries and coffee are pretty yummy. I asked the bartender at the bar for a fun mocktail and he created an amazing drink for me. I was also very impressed with the elevator system, they have 4 elevators so getting up and down was pretty fast, hard to find with nyc hotels. Checked out of the hotel with Marilyn at the front desk who was delightful. Would recommend a stay here. The only downsides are the rooms are smaller than typical hotel rooms but I stayed alone so that was fine

The property is centrally located within a blocks' distance from two metro lines that can get you downtown or midtown in under 15 minutes. The accommodations are quite comfortable, clean, with a cool/modern style that is quite unique. The rooms are very quiet and private with very little to no noise coming from the busy streets of New York. The staff are amazing, going above and beyond to foster the best stay/experience possible. From check in to check out and in between, I had an opportunity to interact with Kimberly, whose pleasant demeanor and welcoming attitude made me feel I was staying at a much higher tier property. Kudos to the leadership team at this location for their hires and support. I will definitely be staying again at this location next time I visit NYC.

I often hear that hotel choice is not important when visiting NYC as you are expected to spend days and nights exploring the city. But boy, did this new Moxy Lower East Side changed this perception. I could not have been more excited to spend hours in this hotel - exploring the amazing bars, restaurants, and common areas while soaking in the amazing interior design.

The hotel is super chic and upbeat, but at the same time it's cozy, warm and so family friendly. I explored the city, but then I just wanted to come back and unwind in the hotel.

The rooms are exceptional, fresh and clean. It reminded of Japanese cleanliness and efficiency. You have separate large walk in shower with ornate glass, the red industrial sink just pops. My queen bed was extremely comfortable and the room is well lit. There a small desk that folds onto the wall to create extra space - so very thoughtful. My queen room had plenty of storage for two people.

The team that works at the Moxy is amazing. As I walked in, I was showered with "welcome, welcome!!" and smiles everywhere. It truly made my feel special.

Finally, the drinks and food was amazing. It's all done in collaboration with TAO group - which I learned operates some of the best restaurants in USA.

For the price per night, you get much more than you pay for! A top quality experience. You will not regret. The pictures don't lie :)))

I stayed at the Marriott moxy LES for 2 weeks in Manhattan. As someone that is traveling every other month, I have to say this is the best experience I have had in the last 2 years in a hotel. As someone that runs their own business, i understand how important customer service can be and the staff of the moxy was far superior to any hotel I have been at.

I was immediately greeted by Leidy, the sweetest and kindest person that made me feel so at home even though I was on the other side of the country!

Overall The hotel was spectacular, from the silver lining lounge piano room, the lobby lounge, the rooftop bar, the gym. Even the elevator system was so fast and helpful! I loved the amenities being listed with the hours they were open it was super helpful.

I spent a good amount of time in the lobby lounge, the coffee was always out on time, the pastries were delicious, and it was amazing to have access to both the front room where it was quieter and the main area where I could interact with other hotel guests.

I made 2 friends in the lobby due to the setup and we are still in touch!

Housekeeping was super nice and every time I walked by the front desk I was greeted with a smile walking in or out of the hotel. I ordered door dash a few times and they would hold it there for me.

I was truly treated like a part of a family, not just a guest, they catered to me and I felt really special there.

Thank you so much Leidy for making me feel so at home while being far from my home, I am excited to book again so when I come back this year, there is no other hotel I would choose!

Every year for my birthday, my girlfriends and I come to NYC to celebrate, shop, eat, etc… i booked this hotel because of the fun bunk bed rooms they have available which is perfect when traveling with 4 people… little did I know how beautiful, clean and thoughtfully designed this hotel is. You could truly not leave the hotel all day and have plenty to do. Coffee in the cafe, the highlight room, sake bar, and you can’t forget Loosies in the basement which is a fun disco club (we ended our evenings dancing here every night) my absolute favorite part of the hotel was the way the people who worked here made me feel… from the start, they were SO happy, positive, and kind. Jess and Yasira made me and my friends feel welcomed from the start and went above and beyond throughout our entire stay. They even surprised by decorating our room with balloons, banners, wrote a fun birthday note on the mirror… I was SO surprised. Their good energy is infectious and I can’t thank the moxy team enough for such a lovely stay!!! Will definitely be coming back in the future

I thoroughly enjoyed staying here, particularly in light of its Bowery location on the Lower East Side. I was last on the Bowery in 1982 and I am blown away by the extent of the changes sine that time. Such a dynamic, edgy, and fascinating community has evolved and blossomed. Don’t miss the nearby Essex Market. This neighborhood adjoins Little Italy, Soho, Chinatown and the East Village. An abundance of richness when it comes to cultures, cuisines, and sights! (and to be completely honest and transparent, on our last day we encountered human waste on the sidewalk across from the hotel, which unfortunately is a reality of the homeless situation that exists in the city and likely is more of a challenge on the Lower East Side.) But that said, the Moxy Lower East Side offers a very comfortable and secure way to access this dynamic neighborhood, now one of my favorite places to be in Manhattan. Service was attentive and quick/responsive. The rooms are on the small side (not unusual for NYC), but the design is very efficient and they offer fabulous floor to ceiling views of the Manhattan skyline. The room was super clean, nice bedding and linens, and I really liked the separate walk-in shower with rain-type shower head. We reserved the executive king room and I felt it provided the minimum amount of space that made us comfortable. The combination of location, modern amenities and design, and price is unbeatable. I’m sure I’ll be back!

After a horrible stay at a different location, we tried to book anything that was available and this fully exceeded our expectations. Yirma and Ashley at the front desk went above and beyond to welcome us, make us feel comfortable, introduce us to the city, give us recommendations, and ultimately made our trip a success. They also so kindly returned my MacBook that was accidentally left behind, and just made us feel so safe and welcome. Without their help, we may have just left, but we’re so glad we met them and we’re opened up to an entirely new experience. This would not have been possible without Yirma and Ashley. Thank you for making my birthday weekend, we’ll definitely be back!

I checked in to the new Moxy for a little staycation and really loved this new hotel. I had a super comfortable & clean room that had sweeping views of the city skyline. Every staff member I encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help. When I went to check out the following day, I stopped by the cafe in the morning which served delicious croissants & coffee. I highly recommend this hotel for someone that wants to be close to the action in Downtown NYC!

This hotel is the newest gem on the hip, edgy lower east side. Only opened a month ago in November, 2022, this hotel is sleek, modern, and full of stylish art, decor, and furniture.

This hotel, which runs in the 300-400 dollar range depending on size and view, has four drinking/dining/entertainment options in house. The Fix (lobby, bar, all day cafe). Silver Lining, a piano bar. Sake No Hana, Japanese dishes. The Highlight Room, their indoor/outdoor rooftop bar. And Loosie’s, a subterranean dance floor decorated with disco balls.

When you check in, you get a free drink token for The Fix!

The lobby is sparkling and gorgeous. The checkin staff is awesome.

I stayed in the executive city view suite, which is a corner suite with views of the Empire State Building, Chinatown, Little Italy, and other parts of Manhattan. There are less expensive rooms with less impressive views or no views at all.

Rooms are well laid out. Separate toilet and nice shower. And you’ll see some people complaining about room size, but honestly, most of the rooms on the Lower East Side are small, efficiently laid out spaces. One or two people would be perfectly comfortable.

Fun touches like an erotic vending machine and a candy stand. They have complimentary bikes, a fitness center, a co-working/business space. TVs have streaming. Comfy, soft, fresh and crisp beds.

Again, on the LES, close to SoHo, close to street art and murals. Lots of restaurants. Little Italy. Chinatown. Very walkable. Easy to go right over the bridge to Brooklyn as well.

I have stayed many times at CitizenM on the Bowery and Moxy in the East Village. I’ve stayed at several Moxy hotels in various cities. This is the hippest and the best. It’s going to be my new go-to.
