Less expensive than some of the elite hotels in Lower Manhattan like the Four Seasons, but it produces a very good experience. All of the staff were top shelf. My room was large and modern. Bedding was good. The shower had a spray that was hurricane level. I LOVED it.

Perfect location for 911 memorial, Wall Street, Chinatown Little Italy as long as you don’t mind a brisk walk. Also views of the Statue of Liberty and the Hudson River . Fabulous high end shopping in the Brookside Place right next door.

Great business hotel with terrific staff that bend over backwards to help. That includes the restaurant where we had one dinner. Atrium style architecture and very modern rooms with all kinds of upgraded lighting panels to choose your environment.

I was concerned because we were in the business district but the hotel was perfect for leisure. I was with my Mom for a Christmas getaway.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The rooms are all suites - which is rare in New York. The service was excellent, literary every per

Hi I’m (secretly) planning a trip to NYC in New York in 2019 for my wife’s birthday, our first visit to the city. We want to do all the usual tourist stuff - Central Park, Grand Central, New York Public Library, shopping at Bloomingdales, Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty etc Just wondered how people had found Battery Park for transport links to the city’s tourist hotspots? I like the idea of having somewhere a bit more relaxed to return to after a day out seeing the sights but not if it’s TOO far away
From Battery park on Bowling Green station you have 4 and 5 trains to uptown east side. From Chamber Str you have 1,2,3 trains to uptown west side. From Hilton you can walk to Brooklyn Bridge station for local 6 train. I do recommend subway. It is not beautiful but you can get everywhere for$2.75 per person. Much faster then cars. Just avoid rush hours. If you don’t have any mobility problems every subway is 10-15 min slow walk away. Subway ride to uptown attractions is 20 min. After Broadway show ,late night, just use Uber. I was living in NY for 25 years, subway is the most efficient transportation in New York. Every time I’m visiting NYC I stay in very downtown area .This is the most beautiful area in town. Hilton location is the best. Ask for suit with Jersey City view.

I've just come from a trip to Chicago, where I stayed at the Palmer House. It's a GORGEOUS property, but older. I could hear every door close, outside my room and in the floor above. It kept me from getting a good night's sleep both nights - even though I had the fan running all night AND I was using a white noise app. :( I could also hear my neighbor WAY too clearly when getting ready in the bathroom. I'm planning to stay at the Conrad this autumn with my husband. Please tell me your experiences with hearing your neighbors and/or hearing doors closing. Thank you!
My friend and I felt we were the only people in the hotel. We never heard any neighbor.

Is it buffet breakfast? how much is it?
The buffet breakfast was complimentary for Hilton Honors Gold members or above. I think the regular price was around $20 per person because the restaurant was offering a complimentary breakfast entree up to $20 in value if we opted not to take the buffet.
