Family of three stayed for 2 weeks. A few things in the apartment can be improved or upgraded, but overall a good option for medium to long term stay in Manhattan. Fulton Street subway Station is 3 mins walk away and is a link to almost every line, so very convenient to get around Manhattan. We’ll stay there again.

To be improved: (1) sofa bed frame is warped, you won’t get a good night’s sleep at all. We had to put the mattress on the floor instead. (2) slippery bathtub. They could easily put some slip proof stickers or provide a mat. My daughter slipped and fell, bringing down the curtain rod when she grabbed it to stop the fall. It is actually hazardous. (3) draining of the sink and bathtub is slow. (4) kitchen - for medium to long term stay, the plates and bowls provided are not sufficient. If you cook for a family, there is no bowls or plates for serving food. We had to buy some big bowls. (5) there is no service at all, it is NOT a serviced apartment. For cleaning, they have only provided a broom and dustpan. It would be better if they can also provide a vaccum cleaner and a floor mop.

This was our second stay at a Sonder property in New York and I will highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a spacious, clean and safe apartment in Manhattan.

We stayed 2 weeks in a 2 bedroom apartment and another week in a single bedroom apartment in the same building. Both apartments were far more spacious than I expected. The location is great with the Fulton street subway station very close and also a 7-11 and a good supermarket just opposite the building. The area has many good restaurants and bars close by and although you do come across a number of homeless people on the streets we never felt unsafe.

We were also pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen well stocked with sufficient plates, bowls, pans, cups, cutlery etc. We cooked many of our meals and even entertained 6 friends to a home cooked dinner one day all using the supplied utensils.

The only drawback was the lack of a washing machine. This would have been very useful for long stay guests.

We will definitely stay at this property on our next visit.

We hadn’t heard of Sonder were wary of booking anything but a traditional hotel after a bad AirBNB experience , but needed the extra space because we are a family of 5. This was a great place! 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen (no oven, but that was fine for us), a fold out couch, and two huge closets. It was stocked with coffee and tea, plenty of towels, cookware, dishes, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and even an electric kettle. Each bedroom had a window and the living room had four large windows. It wasn’t overly fancy, but it was very comfortable and provided everything we needed. The apartment had very high ceilings which hotels don’t typically have and that was really nice and made it feel more like home. By NYC standards, this was a very big and roomy stay! The area felt very safe and there are various subway stations nearby. Good food around as well as Jubilee Market for groceries about a 2-3 minute walk away. Staying here was a great choice and we’d do it all over again if traveling to NYC again.

I stayed at One Platt for 9 nights, choosing this option because having a studio would allow me to cook without having to go out to restaurants every night.
I booked with a certain confidence, having had a previous positive experience at an excellent Sonder in Toronto.
However, I should have read the reviews more carefully before booking. I was quite disappointed, and the room did not meet my expectations. Upon arrival, the room had not been cleaned well, with dust and crumbs on the floor in particular under the bad were to be honest I think they never clean.

The furniture was old, the chairs were stained, the kitchen countertop was scratched and damaged and the faucet in the bathroom was loose and crooked. Upon my request, the staff suggested another room, but unfortunately, despite appearing a bit better, the bed was not confortable and an unbearable smell of food coming from the hallway and air conditioning vents forced me to forgo the change.
On the second day, the towel rack, poorly attached to the wall, came off in my hand.
A positive note is that the chat support responded promptly and politely to my complaints and sent someone to clean ( but not under the bed of course :)) and repair the towel rack in 2 days.

The building is an old one from 1930, with a noteworthy art deco-style lobby but the corridors at the upper floors are gloomy and dark and the moquette doesn't look clean.

The lounge on the second floor is spacious and comfortable, and the terrace on the top floor offers a good view.
The staff at the entrance were kind and communicative and I could leave my luggage in their care for the day after check-out. The location is excellent, just a few steps from the subway and Seaport pier, though it's a bit deserted in the evening.
Despite the presence of construction sites nearby, there wasn't much noise, and I could sleep well.

In conclusion, I would say that the stay definitely did not meet my expectations. The rooms certainly need a significant renovation and the cleaning needs to be more accurate, but I can't complain with the location and the assistance of the staff when requested.

Anyway I don't think I will stay here again in future, it is too expensive for the general condition offered.

We needed to stay in the Financial District as our daughter was attending a day camp in that area. We booked a 1 bedroom which was plenty of room for the three of us—the bedroom was private and larger than we expected and our daughter slept on the pullout which we folded daily to have a sitting area. The kitchen was well stocked so we made breakfast every morning and kept snacks on hand. It was quiet, too—we barely heard the traffic noise and couldn’t hear the neighbors except if they were walking directly overhead. The rooftop was a nice perk and we used the printer in the lounge. I visited the fitness room a couple of times—lots of machines, weights, etc. Everything was clean and felt safe. The only issue we had was initially our code didn’t work but the customer service was fabulous—had us in the room quickly.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom plus den which really is a 2 bedroom/2 bath and it fit our family of 4 perfectly. The extra space came in handy to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen was stocked with the basics and we were able to fix a few of our own meals which saved us some cash. The location is ideal for walking to sites like the Brooklyn Bridge, One World Trade Center, Staten Island Ferry, Chinatown, Little Italy and many others. Subway was only 2 blocks away. Excellent wifi was included.

Nice, large studio apartment with full kitchen, cleaning supplies. Very clean. Convenient location in FiDi.
The code access to the building and mobile key for the apartment door were very easy and made check in and accessing the apartment very convenient.
They had 4 sets of bath linens and 2 sets of toiletries. There was a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board.
The apartment had a love seat, an arm chair, a two person kitchen table, and queen size bed.
The Wi-Fi and google chrome cast were easy to access.
My apartment was on the 3rd floor and faced Pearl. It has good blackout shades. I did not notice the street noise, but I lived in New York for 7 years and now live in Seattle.
The Sonder app is very helpful for asking questions and requesting amenities like extra towels.
There is also a Sonder concierge on site who can store your luggage.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. This is a great option for experienced NYC or big-city residents who want to stay somewhere that feels like your own apartment.

A very nice apartment, very functional. Check in and check out are done autonomously so you don't lose time. Furthermore, the area is well served by the subways.
You can communicate at any time with a team member of Sonder through the mobile application.

The only problem: almost nothing is provided.
You have to provide sponge, toilet paper, paper towel, dishwashing liquid, garbage bag, dishwasher tablets ...

A family of five (two parents and three older/adult children), we stayed Sun-Friday. We enjoyed this location and it was easy to get uptown, plenty to do around us and easy access to visiting Brooklyn/DUMBO. Due to all of the construction and scaffolding, the place is kind of hard to identify when arriving. There were plenty of towels for our family and the kitchen was nice for mornings and keeping snacks/drinks. Having a washer/dryer on-site would make this place top-rated...imo. It was very hot during our stay and being able to do a batch of socks/underwear would have been great. There is a wash/fold service available nearby, but not very convenient. The place is pretty quiet at night for being NYC, but ear plugs might be needed for light sleepers.

Nice and safe apartment to stay, 6 minutes walk to subway, markets and cafes around. Nearby parking. Good spot if you have things to do especially in the financial district. Towels and Linens upon request, laundry room requires you have the app to use. Lounge area to rest. No smoking throughout the building
