Spent one night in a deluxe king with my wife. Overall, we had a great stay. The hotel is located on a street with a surprising amount of food options, felt more like the village than the financial district. Check-in was efficient, staff were friendly. The rooms were extremely clean, modern, and comfortable - the bed was great. All in all, hard to imagine doing any better at such a reasonable price point (for NYC)....
We stayed at the Atezen last minute because VP Mike Pence took over 2 floors at the hotel we were supposed to be staying at... And we're glad he did! The building is unassuming from the outside and definitely on the "boutique" side, but the overall stay was fantastic. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive anytime we interacted and they went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. They were always professional and always had a smile while still making you feel at home. The rooms were small, but the mattresses were very comfortable. Next year we are planning on staying here again and I'm just waiting for management to call me so I can book my King Terrace Suite for more room next time. Hats off to the staff we had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with- Giuseppe, Javier, Kathy, Michell and especially Carmelo who made sure we got everything we needed and found every place we were searching for!…
What makes this hotel stand out amongst the dearth of hotels in Manhattan? 2 things stand out, excellent customer service and the hotel location which makes it easy to use the subway to go across Manhattan and Brooklyn too. The customer service was top notch wherein all our questions and needs were addressed appropriately and in a timely manner. Daniel at the front desk/concierge was a delight to interact with. Housekeeping and room services was also very good and no complaints there. Location wise.... NYSE, Wall street, World Trade Center and 9/11 memorial and all of lower Manhattan/Lower Financial district is all within walking distance from the hotel. Subway lines 4,5,6, J, A, C etc. are easily accessible from the hotel via the nearby subway stations. Room size? decent room size as per NY standards.…
Just came back from here, beautiful hotel and staff couldn't be nicer. The hotel is in easy reach of everything and doormen very helpful and informative. Any requests we had were never too much trouble. I would highly recommend it to NY visitors.
Very nice service, location, and building. Their food service menu has decent options and tastes fine, just a bit overpriced for what you get. The doormen are friendly and helpful in getting what you need. They also contract with a dry cleaning service but you have to call it in directly. The 2 waters and coffee I believe was complimentary. They have a fridge as well. It’s super quiet and foot distance to the train station or even just walking to where you need to go (which we did a majority of the time). It took us about an hour and 20 minutes to walk to union square, and 20 minutes from the airport. There’s literally a Duane Reade’s pharmacy across the street and lots of food shops including Dunkin’ Donuts, Carmen’s kitchen, bubble tea, and a smoothie shop, and so much more. The Fulton train station is at the very edge of the block. There was some construction on the sidewalk so we had to crossover but that’s about it! The room was a bit cramped than what we’re used to (nyc life).…
