We had a nice stay at the hotel. My husband and I enjoyed the nice room and comfortable lobby. We want to give a HUGE shout out to the two super friendly and knowledgeable doormen that were on duty during our stay. Dino was so helpful giving us some recommendations regarding restaurants nearby and he got our yellow cabs quickly too! He made us feel so welcome every time we returned back to the hotel. Thanks Dino!!
My husband, baby, and I stayed at the Eventi for 2 nights. Overall we had a really pleasant experience with the staff and the room but had a big issue with the sleep accommodations provided for our 10-month-old. 1 week prior to our stay I called to ensure that a Pack & Play would be in the room upon arrival. I asked for a guarantee so that I could feel confident traveling without my own Pack & Play. We entered the room and a rusty crib was sitting there. It was on wheels that didn't lock, had a completely dirty mattress, and a loose-fitting sheet (if you research safe sleeping guidelines for infants this is an absolute 'no'). When I spoke with the front desk and the housekeeping manager I was told that no Pack & Plays were available to replace this disaster of a crib (despite having been guaranteed one). So I went out and purchased a Pack & Play on my own. I’ve since contacted the manager twice to discuss the issue and have not heard back.…
We had a wonderful stay here for our anniversary. Victoria, the manager, was very helpful and professional, she upgraded our room to corner deluxe one to help us feel the atmosphere of NYC. Views from 23rd floor are stunning! Hotel stuff is very attentive and friendly, housekeepers are always smiling. The hotel is located in the center of everything, so we had a chance to explore Brooklyn and Upper Manhattan. Coffee shop on first floor is amazing, we never had an opportunity to explore the restaurant, but I’m pretty sure it’s nice as well. And wanted to say the design of this hotel - I loved it.
Having stayed in the city a few times last year for work, I gradually gave in for more luxury hotels than an inn/motel-like lodging options. Kimpton Hotel Eventi is super convenient. The room was clean and surprisingly quiet. It is also super close to Penn station, so I can take LIRR instead of driving in the future. Will stay here again :)
We love the Kimpton boutique hotels nationwide, and this was no exception. The rooms are tiny but modern and chic with good service. The lobby areas and restaurant/cafe areas were exceptional. Of particular note was Dino, our concierge & bell man who helped us hail taxis, recommended great places, and took care of us each day. He’s management material for sure!
