Not a good experience from the second you pull up . No one to help you with your bags . No one to greet you in any way. No Valet parking you get bad directions to drive blocks away to a parking garage in which I arrive there and was told it's full. A $50 bribe and there was room for me. Then the long walk back in the rain to the hotel. No one offers to bring your luggage up . Get to the room and tv not working and can not be fixed. The room is the smallest I've seen in many years. Given the $780 a night you would think it would be bigger then my closet at home. Bathroom actually too small for one person forget two. No room service at all. Place is really an expensive joke. Go to Ritz Carlton it's $200 more but it's a real hotel

AC Hotels Downtown did not honor my accessibility room type, even though it was confirmed guaranteed upon booking and at mobile check-in. Front desk only said none were available. No compensation was offered. I don't even expect upgrades based on my loyalty status, but Bonvoy status is worthless if the hotel fails to honor their most basic guarantee. Bonvoy Platinum Member

I stayed here for a night while I was in town on business. The room was clean and modern. The location was convenient to activities that I was interested in downtown. The room was quite small which is expected in NYC. The staff was very friencly and helpful.

This is the first time I stay in this hotel and I am glad that this would be the last time ever. As the gold member I feel I been treated as trash. We arrived at 11pm and be given the same room that I booked. The room is fine but water sink drain is broken so water not going down. I call the front desk and a lady said they need to find someone. After 20min music, no response at all. So I hang up and called twice to get someone. And they said that they don’t have engineer so they can’t do anything. I asked if they can give us another room but they said that they don’t any any more room for me though you can easily tell the hotel is quite empty. At my resist ( I don’t know how to stay without the water sink in bathroom), she gives me a room but say they can only downgrade it with a really careless cold attitude. It was really surprise to see Marriott’s service like this bad.

I only stayed for one night (sadly), but will definitely come again and stay longer if possible! The location is amazing. There is so much to se even just walking across the street to the shops and restaurants , and literally a few streets over you will stumble upon Seaport which a very historical area. Not to mention the views of the bridges are amazing! So many places to walk to from this area such at 9/11 Memorial and museum, Brooklyn Bridge and Dumbo, and city hall. You can also take a ferry from the pier close by. Take the Soundview ferry and you will get an amazing view of the bridges and of the skyline! Hotel was comfortable, and safe. As a solo woman traveler it was an awesome find!
