Once arrived at The Peninsula, the warm welcome and the kindness of the staff immediately made us feel at home. Elegant rooms, delicious food and a movie atmosphere will accompany you during your stay, you will never want to leave this wonderful property. Highly recommended for its strategic location between Rockefeller Center and Central Park.

My daughter and I had the most wonderful stay at the Peninsula NYC. We were so impressed with every single encounter, from the front desk (Ester was so charming and welcoming), doormen so helpful, bellman, room service... We were made to feel very special and valued as a customer. Also the hotel was so beautiful, clean and quiet rooms (little to no street noise, which is rare in NYC) and omg, the bed was luxuriously comfortable! They gave us an upgrade upon arrival which was so nice, and set the tone for our stay as special! We had a few special requests for gluten free and dairy free item from room service, which they provided without making us feel high maintenance for asking. The food and drinks were delicious and it was not a long wait for the food. The rooftop bar was extraordinary and a special place to be. I did not experience any snobby pretense, that I have experienced in other 5 star hotels, from anyone we encountered. Hand sanitizer and wipes were provided in room, and all staff wore masks at all times. We will be returning to this special hotel! Thank you for everything! We really felt valued and VERY comfortable.

I come around 2-3 times a year to NY for work and I love staying at the Peninsula hotel, it is beautiful and super clean and the pool is dreamy, but I noticed that this time every staff member I interacted with was extremely helpful.

From getting my favourite room and being offered a late check out until 2pm on arrival.

To staff in the gym cleaning the equipment constantly, the hand sanitiser everywhere including the tiny ones in the room, etc

It has been another very pleasant stay and as I said under the current circumstances with the Coronavirus the staff has been super nice, accommodating and just very charming. Thank you to all of them

I am a devoted fan of the Peninsula but it is only because nothing stands a chance to beat the personalized service a guest receives upon arrival . Checking on is so easy and flawless and the front desk staff doesn’t miss a detail. I should go back to the sidewalk when I arrive the doorman and bellman are really the face of the experience. They are at your service when you drive up to the hotel. Always attentive and make sure your luggage gets to the right place and greets the guest (me). Like they remove you from the last visit even if it’s been three years

The rooms are spacious and deluxe and have great views of fifth avenue I love the bathtub and the double sink and I feel like a princess every time I stay stay at the NYC peninsula

One of my favorite things to do is visit the spa, this time an amazing massage with a woman named Laura and a facial with Lumi back to back services and I was floating on a cloud. I love the locker room and the spa attendants they alway are waiting to take good care of all who arrive

Walking up to the pool up the wi ding staircase from the spa to the most wonderful I door pool and the views of fifth avenue from the pool area are spectacular and one of a kind. A great place to eat if you want to order lunch this is thru room-service

If you are a fitness buff or even if you are just into a light stroll on the treadmill this is by far one of the best gyms of any hotel on the city with amazing views of some of the best skyscrapers and an outdoor herb garden. On the 27tj floor. It’s just amazing

The roof top bar which is one of the highlights is a must see but get there early if you want a seat at the outdoor patio. It’s just as fun to sit at bar but take a look at the views

The management team , especially the personal attention the general manager pays to its guests is really what makes a regular visit to the Peninsula like a visit to a home away from home Rolf Buehlmann made sure to introduce himself to me and take great care to make sure I had everything I needed. He was also kind enough to say good bye when I left and make sure that I felt important like a VIP qnd I’m just a guest who loves the best hotel on class and this is it. It doesn’t get much better

The Peninsula is the Grande Dame of NYC hotels. You will definitely not get the hippest rooms with the most fancy decor, but everything is nicely appointed and extremely well kept and clean. Of course you will notice some wear and tear in the room but nothing really bothered us during our 3 nights stay in August. The rooms of the hotels sister property in Chicago are definitely more up to date, but compared to other hotels in NYC in the same price range The Peninsula is a very good choice. Having stayed at the Park Hyatt as well as Mandarin Oriental just a couple of weeks before, The Peninsula really makes up with its excellent staff and service. The contact prior to our arrival was perfect and all of requests were taken care of. During our stay every staff member was constantly smiling and very attentive.

My eight year old daughter and I made our first trip back to NYC in 2 years. We chose the Peninsula because I have stayed there twice before and they were still offering 24 hour room service, which a lot of NY hotels were not.
I was absolutely blown away with the high level of service and attention we received. The attention to detail was unbelievable! When we entered our room, there was a Peninsula teddy bear, coloring book, crayons, and a balloon for my daughter as well as fresh cookies and milk. They also had a child's robe & slippers awaiting her in the closet which was precious!
The room service (which we utilized each morning) was so quick and efficient and they showed up to take our trays away without even calling,
The tv's were equipped with airplay which was great for my daughter so she could watch her favorite shows.
Alexander, the Reservations Manager, was proactive in reaching out prior to our stay to facilitate our departure since there were anticipated street closures that day. His customer service was truly amazing. All of the front desk employees were just over the top. Marian went above and beyond when we had a glitch in our room and truly made our experience magical.
Customer service is such a lost art these days but this beautiful hotel delivered so much more than I anticipated! We will be back and HIGHLY recommend it!

Best to avoid if disabled. The Peninsula NY is a beautiful historic property in a prime location. The service and food are excellent for the most part. BUT, if you have a disability and cannot manage stairs this property is not very accommodating. The entrance has beautiful stairways lined with abundant flowers for guests who can manage steps. In contrast, the side entrance for disabled guests is cluttered with storage for the bell desk and has a single elevator to gain access to the lobby, which must be utilized to gain access to separate elevators to access the guest rooms. The single elevator on the ground floor is also the only way to access the rooftop bar so if you are trying to get to your room on a Friday night you may have to wait behind a line of bar goers just to gain access to the first elevator before you can take another elevator to your room. Easily a 20mon wait when they are busy. Once you finally gain access to the lobby, all of the disability lifts to the restaurants and lounges are locked. And, they use the adjacent areas for storage at Gotham lounge so good luck gaining access. If you are not disabled, I think this hotel has a lot to offer. If you are disabled and cannot manage stairs please consider a property under more considerate management. We did not ask for a dime in consideration, but we did ask for the disability lifts to be unlocked and the surrounding areas to be cleared during our stay and that was far too much to ask for.

This hotel is superb and impeccable from top to bottom. The check in was smooth and swift. The room was very clean. I’m very meticulous with details; dirt and dust will aggravate and disgust me. Yet, I have no complaints of it. This is truly an amazing and lovely hotel. Customer service was sublime from each and everyone.

I don’t usually write detailed reviews about every hotel I stay at but I needed to make an exception this time. I chose The Peninsula at New York to be our hotel for a special family vacation in the city and I was amazed to say the least. To begin, I stayed there around the holidays time and the decorations were astonishing. The entire hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays and my kids and I loved it quite a lot. The entire hotel staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They went above and beyond for everyone of us and it certainly made our stay there more special. A great aspect to consider is the phenomenal location: it is located right of 5th Ave with walking distance to some of the city’s best attractions and shops. The hotel was exceptionally clean, quiet, and sophisticated. Another great detail is the welcoming basket of fresh baked cookies, milk, and fresh fruit that we found at our suite upon checking in. Also, a special thanks to Nicola (one of the many amazing receptionists at The Peninsula) he was incredibly sweet and helpful and he made our time there more memorable. In short, I definitely enjoyed my stay at the Peninsula and I would recommend it to anyone looking forward for a great quiet stay in the city!

Where do I begin with the Peninsula New York.....the service? the room quality? the staff friendliness? the location? As indicated by my review score, they are all 5 stars. We have now stayed at the Peninsula NY twice and both times the staff went above and beyond to make our experience extra special. The GM Jonathan as well as Stephanie from Guest Services are exceptional, friendly and know what true 5 star service means.

On our first trip to this beautiful hotel for our babymoon, they decorated our room with fresh flowers, chocolate covered strawberries and gifted us a stuffed animal dressed in Peninusla gear to bring home to our baby's nursery. On our most recent trip I'd mentioned in an email we loved tennis and had seen that the recent US Open Champion stayed with them so what did they do? They got her to autograph a tennis ball for us, left that in our room upon arrival along with a 5 year anniversary Peninsula bear to bring home. I mean are you kidding me?

We are so thankful for the staff and the hotel experience here. If you want to be treated like royalty and have a beautiful hotel room in a prime location to boot, you can't beat this place. Thanks Peninsula team!
