The staff were amazing and went out of their way to accommodate my requests. The room was clean and comfortable. Most of all it was quiet which is very important to me. The location was great with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I'll definitely be staying there again!

We stayed at this hotel for two days on our most recent visit to Boston. The location is great and is a recently renovated beautiful historical building.
The front desk person was helpful. She provided us with $10 credit towards the hotel restaurant and another $10 credit for Uber. She made our checking in experience pleasant.
The room was clean, decorated tastefully and beds comfortable.
We did not want our room to be cleaned but house keeping was nice to provide fresh towels and toiletries.
We also asked for a micrwave oven and front desk sent one right away. The hotel has free wifi, excellent restaurant with outside sitting.
BTW the hotel has garage parking for a fee and also there is street meter parking which only costs $2 per hour 8am to 8pm and free on Sunday.
We had a wonderful stay at Loews Boston Hotel.
I highly recommend it.

My family of five just returned from a weekend stay in Boston. After thoroughly researching hotel options we decided on the Loews based on great reviews, proximity to Boston's major attractions and the availability of a 1BR suite with a generously sized bathroom.

From the moment we checked in we felt at home. We arrived late (past midnight) and were promptly checked in and shown to our massive suite. The suite opened to a long hallway with large full length mirror and bench. A large living area included two consoles, a sofa, armchair, coffee table, upholstered ottoman and desk. A separate bedroom with King sized bed and two closets had a separate TV and armchair as well. The bathroom was large by Boston standards with a vanity, separate shower and tub and a water closet. We all loved the towel warmer and having a separate water closet.

We had requested a rollaway which was already waiting for us. After we saw the generous size of the suite we asked for another rollaway which was quickly delivered. Throughout our stay I communicated with the front desk via text. Our requests were always met quickly and with a friendly smile.

Our family loved the coffee / hot chocolate machine in the lobby. In the mornings we brought our beverages up to the room and were able to have a leisurely start to each day.

The location is incredible, an easy walk to Newbury / Boylston / Boston Common / Copley Square. We didn't need our car once!

If I am to nitpick, there were only a couple minor cons -

1. The sconce in our bathroom was broken resulting in a very blinding bulb. The front desk attempted to fix the issue but the part needed was not available.

2. Despite the rooms themselves being very clean the vents needed a serious dusting.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay at the Loews and will definitely return!

Found this gem through hotel tonight and there is no doubt we would stay here again. The customer service was quite impeccable. Ryan at the front desk catered to our every need and accommodated all our requests. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The hotel did a great job providing hand sanitizers at every station. The robes they provided in our room felt like you are wrapped with a cloud. It was so cozy and soft I ended up purchasing one to bring home. The hotel was walkable to Quincy market, the several restaurants on the north end and only a quick 10 min drive to the shopping stores on Newbury street. The location was perfect. They also provided a self parking area for $40/night which was the cheapest that we found compared to any other hotel which usually cost around $50-$65/night. Their customer service made us want to come back to Boston just to stay in their hotel. The water pressure in the shower felt amazing too after a long day of walking around Boston. The bed was such a joy to sleep in as well. By far one of the most comfortable beds Ive slept in a while. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Boston. You will not regret it and for sure will want to extend your stay. Thank you Ryan for making our spontaneous decision of going to Boston so worth it. Loews Boston hotel should be so proud to have you as their front man to represent their hotel. We will surely be back again!

Very nice, clean hotel that actually provides full service housekeeping everyday. I’ve been traveling on business for the last 2 months and many hotels are still not cleaning rooms or offering self service clean, e.g. upon request they provide clean towels and sheets for the guests the change themselves! Yes precautions should still be taken as COVID is still out there but there are ways to provide service while maintaining safety for guests and employees. Loews figured it out.

The doorman Tom is great! He was very helpful from the time we stepped out of the car with our luggage to our departure day. He has great insights on nearby sights and food when asked, most of which we followed and were very pleased with it all.

This is our first time staying in a Loews Hotel and couldn’t have been more satisfied. This will now be our preferred hotel whenever we return to Boston.

I never give poor reviews, because I have been in the customer service industry, and it's tough, but when you are spending $350 - $600 for a room for the night, you don't expect to have someone treat you as though you are an inconvenience upon check-in.

We checked in with another couple, and the gentleman who checked my husband, and I in was wonderful, however, the woman who was standing behind the middle check-in desk was completely rude and disrespectful to the other couple we were with. She had her head down, working on something, when they approached the desk. When she finally picked her head up to acknowledge them her words were "did you need something?" He said "we are checking in", and she said "you are going to have to wait or go over there because I am working on something." Not what we were expecting.

They were also out of soap. Yes, soap. When we asked for some they said they only had two bars left and they would hold it for us until we got back. When we came back, and went to the front desk to get it, we were told they gave it to someone else. I am not sure why they didn't just run to the nearest drug store to buy bars of soap, but I have never been to a hotel that was out of soap. I get that everyone is having supply issues, but this issue could have been remedied.

Very disappointed.

Dear Heather, Loews Boston Hotel is surely disappointed that we failed to meet your expectations, as well as our own and offer a sincere apology. Our industry continues to recover and a key issue is supply chain at current and, yes, for a day, our hotel was low on soap supply. However every room was supplied with a Julien Farrell Bath Gel which offers same hygiene components. This is not a Loews standard to run short on supply and we work every day with our vendors and carriers to minimize any shortcomings. Your encounter at arrival was certainly not to our mutual high expectation and we will work with Ariella, who at current is a Fisher College intern and we are focused on her service skills so that someday soon she will be recognized favorably. Truly wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving Holiday. Robert Rivers General Manager

We had the opportunity to get away for a night in Boston one more time before saying goodbye to 2020, and Loews Boston was the right place at the right time. With three teenagers in tow our days of squeezing a family of five into one room with a crib / rollaway / sofa option are gone, we needed two rooms, preferably adjoining. No problem, says Loews, hooking us up with back to back rooms at the end of a quiet hall, and it took my kids all of 5 minutes to lock themselves out of their room.

The rooms are very nice, exactly as described - bed, desk, tv, fridge, etc. I found the little things were what made it. Getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom? Motion lights spring to life when they see you coming so you don't have to wake anybody up. The shower was big and spacious, and I wish I'd noticed the heated towel rack sooner! The tv's actually have Chromecast built in, so if your kids no longer do live tv and would prefer to stare at their phones, now they have the option of playing their content on the big screen. I love the subtle transition this represents - no more arriving at the hotel and wondering what's on. Got your phone or laptop? Play your own.

The location of the hotel is right up against Newbury Street, an easy walk to the public garden and theatre district. We found it easily (and got back out to the highway equally easily). Parking's a little tricky, as the nearest lot is a block away, but we were encouraged to park right in front of the hotel, check in with our bags, then move the car at our convenience.

One last thing that I'd not seen before, that I think all hotels should adopt? When checking in, they sent me a text that said "Just respond to this with whatever you need." I don't know if that's a regular convenience thing or a covid related less human contact kind of thing, but I'm just the type of introvert to be all over such a feature. Forgot to ask about checkout time? Text. Question about my bill? Text. No need to talk over a television, or wake up my wife. Easy!

All in all a very nice place, and a nice way to get out of the house for a bit and have a mini vacation with the kids before the normal routine resumes in a couple of weeks.

Excellent location - 5 minutes from Back Bay train station and 10 minutes from Public Garden. Easy access to 2 subway lines (green and orange), both 5 minutes walking from the hotel.

The front desk team was very friendly and welcoming.

The room we stayed in (King Deluxe) was not very spacious, but perfect for a weekend where we spent most of the time exploring the city. I was also surprised how quiet the room was (we were on the 8th floor), considering we were facing a busy street with some restaurants.

The hotel itself and our room were clean - and all staff and guests were wearing masks in common areas, which made me feel safe using the elevator.

Important fact: the breakfast is not included! Hotel breakfast is something I love when I am staying at a hotel. We went to a local coffee shop, which despite being a good experience was another cost for the trip.

Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely stay at this hotel on our next trip to Boston.

Even before checking-in, the hotel staff was on top of it. Thanks to Loews' partnership with local businesses, the Front Office Manger, Ryan, was able to setup a complimentary VIP tour of Boston Harbor Distillery. Our room on the 10th floor was very well appointed and extra spacious. The hotel is also in a prime location and within walking distance of a multitude of local Back Bay shops and restaurants. Other amenities included a very large fitness facility that was immaculately clean and included premium machines such as a Peloton bike. Bottom line: The next time we're in Boston, we'll definitely be staying at the Loews Hotel again!

I feel bad writing this but I am a bit frustrated as I had a long af travel day and was excited to take a bath but there was just brown water coming out of the faucets, i'd even drank some of it :/ So the staff was super nice about it but I had a nice room, I paid for a nice room, on the 10th floor. Wrap around windows, very nice views. So belly full of mystery brown water they moved me to the 4th floor, with the tiniest window and an internal view.

In the AM I see the maids cleaning a room across from me with beautiful light coming in, a great view, i'm like, how did I get a great room on the top floor with brown water and then the next best room is this porthole window room and I get zero discount, zero refund? The room was $200+ a night, which isn't the cheapest so, I was sort of expecting a better room after I swallowed a bunch of brown water...

Dear Sam, What a difficult and trying experience you realized while a guest at Loews Boston Hotel, and we extend our sincerest apologies for your inconvenience and our failing to meet your expectations. As one can gather from a long list of 5 Bubble Reviews, your experience was an anomaly and certain not what either of us would expect from a reputable hotel. And, it is unfortunate that our team attempted to award you a stay in one of our premier rooms on the 10th floor, and due to a city water line issue we were forced to relocate your room. Certainly we would have loved to change your impression while a guest, however have asked Expedia to provide a fifty percent refund. Again, our sincere apologies, Robert Rivers General Manager
