My husband and I took a weekend trip to Boston with our two very young children. Unfortunately when we arrived in Boston, the weather was horrible. We got soaked from being out in rain/sleet. The hotel staff was amazing and brought us towels to dry the kids off and hot chocolate while we waited for our room. They made sure we were comfortable while we waited and got us into our room as soon as they could. The room was amazing. We had a corner king suite and the view was perfect. The room and hotel itself was very clean. The location is fantastic. Right near Boston North Station/ TD garden. We walked to everything we needed. Used a stroller for the kids and had no problem getting to the attractions we wanted. After leaving the hotel and already headed home I had realized I left behind something valuable in the room. We called the hotel and they quickly located it and set it aside for me. Whitney at the front desk was especially fantastic and helpful. From the first day there and helping us get the kids comfortable to helping us locate what we left behind, she has been great!!! We will definitely be staying at this property again and look forward to it. …
We had such a great experience staying here! The location was perfect, located right by North station and TD garden. It made for an easy jump off point to travel and there was a star market close by for shopping. The hotel was very clean, staff super friendly, and we felt very safe during our stay. The view was also amazing!
I’m a world traveler, and I’ve stayed at literally hundreds of hotels in my lifetime, and I can say without a doubt that this hotel has the absolute best service possible. The front desk manager Sam, went out of his way to accommodate my family and I with any and every request we had. and we’re incredibly grateful for that. If you consider staying at this hotel, know that you’re in good hands, and if you have any issue, the hotel staff will step in to help. I hope God pays Sam, because he refused our tip...
Chose this property based on price & location (near airport and a T-station) for a brief post-vaccine getaway as the pandemic settles down. Its location almost adjacent to Boston's North Station and its T-station (and also TD Garden, though that was not of interest to me) was quite convenient; was there in just a :15 one-transfer ride from the Airport T-station. Knew it wasn't "right downtown" so getting to the primary tourist/historic areas, financial district, government center, Boston Common, etc. required short rides on the easily-reached T. Similarly, my penchant for "the best view possible" didn't yield a view of any of those, but rather of the I-93 bridge entering North Boston, the dining & historic highlights of which are only a short walk away. The room itself was comfortable, well-equipped (i.e. refrig, hair dryer, Keurig coffeemaker, flat screen TV), and quite clean, although the fixtures and furnishings are a bit sterile and reflect the efficiency expected in a modest-tariff property. My primary disappointment was refusal to grant a mere 1-hr late checkout without a $50 surcharge despite my Bonvoy membership (certainly their prerogative, so Reasonable, although I severely doubt their occupancy rates necessitated that inflexibility), compounded by refusal to hold a single piece of carry-on luggage after checkout so I could grab lunch and a few more photos on the Common before my mid-afternoon flight. This was attributed to "per COVID restrictions", which I found ridiculous as bags neither carry nor transmit virus and there would certainly be ways to handle them with gloves or place them in plastic if that *were* a valid concern (so I deemed this further insult Unreasonable). Will say that I think I'd have had a different answer had I been able to request it of the gentleman who first checked me in, but was not on-site the day of my checkout.…
The room was nicely appointed and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive to our requests. Unfortunately we had Cheech and Chong staying in the room across from us and must have been smoking pot from morning to night. From the minute you left the elevator until you walked to our room door, the odor was really strong. At first I didn’t know what it was (kind of a skunk like smell) but after I realized my husband didn’t want to make any waves about it. The last night of our stay you could smell it inside our room too. Should have said something then but didn’t want to change rooms because it was late and our last night.
