The Langham, Boston, is an amazing hotel with great amenities and people. The check in for our 4 day visit was efficient. The two doormen were very helpful both at check in and check out. They recommended great weekend parking and also other tips about the city of Boston when the concierge was not available. The housekeeping staff at the Langham are amazing as well. The room was immaculate. Extremely comfortable bed. We had the premier room and it was spacious. The bathroom was well appointed. The night before our arrival at the Langham, we stayed at a "5 star" inn in Chatham, Cape Cod, and that room didn't come close to the premier room. All bedding and towels are of top quality and the rooms are well appointed in all respects. We only ate one meal at the Langham and that was room service. The meal was great and the service was excellent as well. Our other meals were experienced in the city of Boston. The hotel is in the financial district so as a visitor you will need to walk to things - but they are very close. Quincy Market, the Wharf, "Little Italy", Boston Common, are all well within walking distance (about 10 minutes to either one). We stayed during the summer 2022 heatwave and it was all walkable. Overall, top notch service and people at the Langham, Boston. Without a doubt we would stay here again if we were ever in Boston again!…
Langham Boston front desk, concierge and private dining staff were caring and prompt with service. Staff brought water and microwave promptly to room. Kim, a concierge, provided typed walking directions to St. Anthony Shrine church for Mass. Staff provided gifts of selfie stick, stuffed whale and Boston book for kids and Maria and Kyong from private dining provided excellent complimentary breakfasts since we were first in-room dining order for renovated property. Hope to return when pool and gym reopen.
The Langham Hotel, Boston, was very nice. The rooms were clean and updated. The staff was at your service with a smile each and every time. The location is great for the business district, North End, Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market as well as the Freedom Trail. It is somewhat less desirable for Copley Square, Back Bay and Newbury Shopping District. Overall it was clean and nice and I would absolutely stay there again.
We had 2 rooms one for me and husband the other for my Mom and Dad. Both were very clean and confortabule. We travel with our Pugs and they loved the hotel. There is park close by and we could easly walk to many places in downtown. The T stop is steps away.
Only had the pleasure of a one-night stay at this luxuriously renovated hotel, but during our short stay we had the opportunity to experience true hospitality from the moment of checking through our dining experience as well as visit to the club lounge.... and the food was amazing.
I wish Trip Advisor would give more flexibility in their rating system. If that were the case we would give The Langham 4.5 stars. We enjoyed our recent stay very much. Really liked the hotel decor and location. Our room overlooked Franklin Street but we heard little street noise, and almost no noise from other rooms. Service was excellent. Staff were very friendly and accommodating . Not inexpensive for sure (what upscale Boston hotel is ?) but we took advantage of the "stay 2 nights, get one night free" offer which certainly helped cost wise. Our one significant complaint is that the room and particularly the bathroom were on the small size, and we had the largest non-suite room category.
Was there attending a company event last part of July. The rooms are very nice as was the hotel. The room was clean & upscale but on the small side and didn't have but one drawer to put our clothes in. The other drawer located in the closet was occupied with the room safe. The light switches were a bit confusing and hard to figure out as the bathtub and shower knobs. Also, no view from our room other than to the dirty alley and adjacent very tall building. The location of the hotel is very good and practical for us since we did a lot of walking to all the tourist sites. No need for a taxi or Uber. I don't think this is a 5 Star Hotel and don't know who gave it that rating. I also felt the daily rate of $700 per night was too high. The food at the Grana was delicious but again one omelet with coffee and bacon at $60 is way too much to pay, despite the excellent service. I think there are much better hotels in the area that will get you a better room and service for the same price.…
We choose the Boston Langham Hotel on a whim. We had never stayed here before. This hotel is a bit expensive, but worth the money. The customer service is fantastic. The food and cocktails at the Fed are delicious. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Perfect for a weekend away.
I was so excited to be staying at the Langham, that waned away quickly when I realized in the morning looking to brew my coffee and found in one of the coffee bar drawer the used mask left by the previous guest. That makes me believe if the room was cleaned and/or vetted for the next guest use. This should speak all I want to say.
Was here over the 4th of July weekend. Very nice hotel. Room was clean & upscale but on the small side. Also, no view from our room. Location of the hotel is very good. I would have felt we overpaid, but the food & open liquor cabinet in the lounge made it worth what we paid. Booked through Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts. Cost a little more that way, but Amex provides a $200 credit.
