My wife and I had a great week in the Plaza and in Boston. Everything in the hotel was first class. The staff were all excellent. I must give particular accolades to Johnie in the Oak Bar. I have been in numerous bars throughout the world and have never seen a barman as quick, efficient and as good at multitasking. The other issue that should be complimented is the 'small' breakfast sandwich! How delicious that was. My only query was a charge of $30.00 for the 'Urban Experience' per day that we were not informed about and came as a complete surprise when we examined the final bill. We will return !!!!!
We recently stayed two nights here and we’re not disappointed. The hotel is nicely situated near shopping, restaurants and Fenway. The tourist sites are easily accessible and the hotel itself is beautiful. All the staff that we encountered were excellent, but of course there are always a few that stand out more than others. In our case we were extremely impressed with Aleksandra B. In the Fairmont Gold floor. To us she is the definition of Fairmont customer service and should be commended. Additionally, Rudy and his team in the Gold lounge (Jai and Gilbert) are exceptional staff members who were very helpful and accommodating. We will most definitely be returning because of this.
We were welcomed by the front desk receptionist, Tarek, who also provided excellent food and activity suggestions. She checked in with us throughout our stay and was warm and welcoming as well as helpful. Maria in housekeeping was also welcoming and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and historic and is in a great location within walking distance to most areas of Boston like Fenway Park, great restaurants, the Boston Library and Boston Commons, etc. it is also close to Public transportation if you don’t have a car.
We pulled up to the Fairmont valet, and Hajl greeted us with the most genuine and welcoming smile putting us all at ease. In Boston for a medical procedure, Hajl’s warm welcome told us everything about our stay in Boston was going to be alright. Thank you Hajl!
I just did a large meeting at the Fairmont Copley and could not have been happier with the experience. The hotel is an historical building with a ton of character and old world charm. The staff is second best to none. If you have a meeting, do not hesitate! Truly. You won't be disappointed.
We were visiting from out of town so wanted a hotel close to what we were doing and this one fit the bill. Everyone was very nice, the room was great and the restaurant had good selections for all. Thank you.
We hosted an event at the Fairmont on July 14 that required us to be on-site all week. The staff could not have been more kind and willing to help. They were communicative, generous with their time, incredibly professional - and best of all, fun to collaborate with! A huge thank you to Lyndsay Picciano, Daryl Gagne, Clifton Lewis, Jessica Cooper, Sal Aguilar, Emily Lopez - truly everyone was amazing.
We stayed at the Fairmont for 4 nights before heading down to Miami and there was a lot to like about it. Firstly, it's location is great, right on a nice communal square and the main shopping area is a 2 minute walk from the front door. The hotel itself is lovely and so are the rooms, it just felt a tad dated to us. Staff are super friendly and there is just something about having a doorman that oozes class. Starbucks attached is also a nice touch and useful if you want to get an early start.
The hotel is old and needs lots of updates to the rooms. The electrical outlet was broken in the bathroom and the hair dryer was broken as well. No refrigerator in the room because there is a mini bar that is locked and not useable. Upon staying the hotel is not worth the money they charge.
Wonderful location and great service across the board. We stayed on the concierge floor and really enjoyed the lounge, service and food. All of the staff we encountered across the hotel were kind and helpful. Really appreciated the bottled water as well, as it was very warm! The room itself was tired and in need of new carpeting, paint and some attention. But, I understand this is a historic property. The bathroom could have used body lotion in addition to the other toiletries. The hallway became quite loud at night from other guests.
