We had a wonderful staycation at the Eliot Hotel in Boston. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our corner suite was beautifully appointed and the bed was soooo comfortable! The location of the Eliot couldn't be beat - we were steps away from great dining and fun shopping on Newbury Street. This was our first stay at the Eliot, but will not be our last! Even our pup was welcome and he enjoyed strolls on the bustling, snowy streets of Boston.
Staff is extremely nice and very accommodating. I would recommend to anyone coming to Boston...family or business. This is my second time staying at the Eliot and will for sure stay here overtime I come to Boston. Friendly staff is over the tip with accommodating for my late night check in and helping me with late food as well as picking up my lunch while i worked in the room (who does that). Amazing !!!
Over the years I have had the opportunity to stay at the Eliot on multiple occasions. It is always a favorite. After being precluded by COVID from traveling to Boston, I have now returned in quite a while. It was wonderful to stay again to this elegant, personal, immaculate home-away-from home and to see that it continues to be the remarkable and welcoming place it has always been ... perhaps, even just a little better.
The room was awesome clean spacious - the hotel upgraded our room for us which was nice. Very happy with the room. 2 minor negatives: No man's hearty breakfast available - they had a boxed continental breakfast. Meh No parking - upon checkout, I asked the desk "do I pay the doorman for the vallet parking" - the man said yes $49 for 1 night - I gave the doorman $60 - then was charged on my credit card another $49. So I paid $109 parking for 1 night stay.
This place is a old building. But the last thing it feels like is an out of date building. It’s got classical beauty and modern amenities. Not sure why but we were upgraded from a single room to a suite. The location of the hotel is perfect. And if you’re looking for things to do in the city you can find (just down Comm Ave) the Emerald Necklace for a wonderful inner-city walk without the noise and disturbance of traffic. Loved our stay and plan on doing it again soon.
