I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend which is normally a busy time in the Asheville area. The motel was still nice and peaceful. The grounds were lovely and well maintained. All of the rooms were all ground floor which is helpful for a guy with orthopedic issues like me. The motel is pet friendly and is set up well for them with a fenced in walk area. The rooms weren't fancy, but I wasn't paying for fancy. I would stay here again.

This was a prepaid-planned pit stop for us after a full day of driving and sight seeing. Was so glad the property was well maintained and cared for so we could have a quiet evening n solid sleep to begin our next day. I work in hotel housekeeping industry so I appreciate the efforts and can tell when an honest attempt is made for guests. Kudos!!

This motel has been renovated and is so much better than before. It used to be a super sketchy Knight’s Inn. Some major investment $$$ going on here, so much nicer that I took a chance on the budget choice in the immediate area. The staff is great, no complaints. The only reason for 4 stars is the breakfast was minimal and the floor of the motel room probably needs a good mopping. My socks got a little dirty walking around in the room. The place was generally very clean inside and out however. Everything in the room worked well and the furniture was relatively new and clean. The king bed slept great and the bed furnishings were better than expected.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The room appeared newly refreshed—clean hardwood floor, spacious bath, comfy bed, etc. Was traveling with two pups and there was ample room to walk them for bathroom breaks, as well as potty bags and trash cans on the property. There was also a Tesla charger. Front desk staff was warm an inviting both and check in and check out. Breakfast was prepackaged food, which was fine. This property far exceeded my expectations and I would quickly book this property again!

Room was fair, problem happened after I checked out. Hotel charged me$100 saying I smoked in the room, I’m not a smoker and I know no one in Asheville. I checked out at 7 am and someone else went in the room after I checked out. It can be verified on hotel cameras. They refuse to call me back and take the charge off my CC. I would NEVER stay at this property!!

Booked 2 nights. At check in, the 1st room (requested non-smoking) was filled with cigarette smoke smell and we are allergic. That room had plastic taped over the windows. Asked for a different room- 2nd room had a diaper and urine on the floor. Most of the hotel rooms had plastic taped over the windows, and construction materials laying around. We left since we were not given a room we could sleep in and were told it would be no problem to call and work it out with the manager in the morning. Expedia would not negotiate a cancellation and the manager has yet to return our calls 6 months later after dozens of attempts. We were unable to stay at the hotel and our concerns were never resolved. I would avoid. The hotel and its manager aren't interested in providing a clean and safe stay.

As I travel across the country I stay at Wyndham properties regularly. Last week was a super 8 in Arizona that was horrible.
This week I was very pleased with this property. Very clean, well maintained, everything in proper working order. It was a very pleasant stay.
The decor was nicely updated during their last renovation. Although this is clearly an older property, it is very clear the owner and staff take pride in their property. Well Done!

I was the one that made this reservation for my son (we were nearby in an air bnb and my son come to see us that evening). I am so sorry I booked this room. He and his girlfriend called when they got there to tell me what was going on. When we called to speak to the manager, we were told we were speaking to the manager, then immediately someone else got on the phone and told us they were the manager (with the same name). This was the worst experience we have ever had. The room was horrible, with fruit flies and hair stuck to the walls, cigarette butts in the drain and dirt under the bed covers. When he complained they offered another room that had black mold. We requested a refund and was told that with there was nothing wrong with the hotel and they had not had any complaints from the other guests. I called the hotel and the manager (at least that is who he said they were) was extremely rude, patronizing, and dismissive. We did call corporate to file a complaint as well. My husband drove to the hotel to make sure the kids were okay and was shocked at the state it was in. This place is a awful. There was a toilet sitting outside of one of the rooms, and there were dogs running in an out of several rooms. Management should be ashamed of themselves taking advantage of kids. To tell you how terrible, we had to pay for another hotel across the street, even though we were refused the refund.

Found this on Hotels.com and glad we did. Area was very quiet and had easy access to I -40. We were in Asheville for a convention, and we were only 15 minutes from the venue. We had one of their handicapped rooms, the parking was right at the door, the room was roomy, and the beds were comfortable. Bath had plenty of room to maneuver around with plenty of handholds. Breakfast was mostly pastries, but they did have girts and oatmeal so there were items that could be heated up.

I booked the Super 8 in Asheville because I have a lot of experience with the Brand. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel, just off exit 55 from I-40 was as quiet as it was. The mature trees did a lot to make the property seem very cosy plus they kept our rental car from overheating.
