Historic Inn oozing with charm. Convenient, safe parking behind the Inn. Can’t say enough about the staff - they were all friendly, helpful, and engaging. Breakfast provided was ample and tasty - 4 options available and two were vegetarian which pleased the other couple traveling with us. Wine and appetizers provided each afternoon were quite nice. And the homemade cookies/brownies provided throughout the day - heavenly. The chef/baker here is just exceptional. Remember this is a historic inn so yes, the floors creak. Our bedroom tv was on the side wall so yes, you had to look sideways. No, it doesn’t have a magnifying makeup mirror in the bathroom. But the friendliness and expertise of the staff - and the great baked goods - more than makes up for any non-modern inconveniences.…

We only stayed one night as we were on our way to Charleston but we would definitely return. The room was huge and nicely appointed. The breakfast was great and we felt very welcomed. There was a coffee maker in the room which we really appreciated as we are early risers.

The property and the staff are phenomenal! They made us feel right at home. The breakfast did not feel like a hotel breakfast but like a high end restaurant. Even when they knew we had to leave before breakfast for our hiking trip they made sure we had granola and fruit for our early morning! It was walkable to downtown but also a shot Uber ride for when we got too lazy to walk.

We’ve been coming to the Princess Anne for years. It’s convenient to downtown Asheville but tucked away in a beautiful neighborhood. We love it’s quiet but lovely amenities. It has character, charm and style, but most of all we love it’s friendly and supremely able staff. We can’t recommend it highly enough.
