Anyone wishing to have a fun and relaxing experience fishing by yourself or with your family and friends should consider booking with Duane and Diane at bighornfly.com. First of all, they are fabulous host and awesome chefs. Yes I say chefs because the food was as good as any restaurant in the metro Atlanta area that I have visited. They even accommodated my keto lifestyle and went out of their way to purchase some Keto bread and pancake mix and educate themselves on keto foods versus non keto. Second, the guides they provide will meet you at your level of expertise. If you are a novice then you will be coached and taught along the way and should be a better angler at the end of your trip and catch fish. If you are an advanced angler then the guides will just focus on putting you on the fish. Trust me they know where the fish are laying in every section of the river. Third, the rooms were clean, full cable, great showers and comfortable beds with plenty of ac to keep you cool. Fourth, if you are with your family then I would plan another day and rent a pontoon boat at the canyon lake located 10 miles up the mountain. Spectacular views that you won’t see anywhere else. Fifth, they have all of the gear so you can show up empty handed and still have a blast.

I recommend fishing 3 days and lodging for 4 nights. Their rates for a package are the best available anywhere in the country.

Shout out to both of my guides during the trip Dave from New York and Matt from Junction City KS. Both were fun people that love their job, exceptional guides and good communicators. You can’t go wrong by requesting either of these guides.

I just returned home from three days and four nights of fantastic fishing while staying at Big Horn Fly and Tackle Shop in Fort Smith, Montana. My friend and I were a little late and arrived after the fly shop had closed. A note on the door said "Greg, you guys are in Room 2, the keys are in the room, supper is at 7:00 in the house behind the fly shop". Our hosts for the trip, owners Duane and Diane, greeted us at their home behind the fly shop where we introduced ourselves the other guests for this midweek fly fishing trip. Duane and Diane had prepared the best lasagna dinner I have ever eaten! All meals are included, plus a great lunch on the river with your guide. The food is fantastic, but the fishing is why we come to the Big Horn. 20 inch rainbow and brown trout are not uncommon and I was fortunate enough to land four trout that were in that range including a 21 inch, five pound rainbow. Many fish over 16 inches, also came to net. Our room was very comfortable and had been recently remodeled. You will not find a better deal, highly recommend!

Outstanding end-to-end. Duane and Dianne run a fantastic operation. Gail runs the amazingly well-stocked fly shop and reservations efficiently and friendly. Accommodations and food were outstanding. Guides set up and punctual with NO problems. Biggest plus is that the entire staff and guides were an absolute pleasure. 6 very happy guys!!!

The whole package was great from our lodging to meals to our 2 guides Nick Chassion for last 2 days and Bill Stahl for first day. Dwayne and Diane put on the best meals from breakfast to dinner. The fish was a little slow the first 2 day but the 3rd day it was fantastic. Accommodation are very clean and neat.

Great 3 days of fishing on the Bighorn River. The accommodations and food by Duane and his wife were first class- from breakfast, box lunches for on the river and family style dinners at night. Everybody got along great. Our rooms were motel style and super clean and comfortable. Will definitely go again.

Great place to stay. Rooms are completely remodeled. They are really the best I have stayed in, in that area. Gale is a super nice host and Duanne is a great guy as well. The dinners were excellent and my guide Beau McFadyean was the best. Hard working and knowledgeable. I will be back again.

Donta was our river guide he was excellent he put us on the fish. Told us all kids of history as we floated the river! It was a all day trip and had hot soup and sandwiches
for lunch. I think he knew everybody on the river. Had a wealth of good advise as i was a
first time fly fisherman as i fish spinning rods in Alaska. Had a wonderful day it was over before we knew it, And thats means you had a wonderful time. I would fish with
this guide anytime.
