This place is very nice and conveniently located. Only 5 minutes from Arches NP entrance. Very comfy pillows, extra nice bedding, big layout for breakfast, plenty of parking. The staff is friendly, check in and out were super quick. Nice pool and spa. Definitely a good value.

I picked this location due to the amenities, a room with three queen beds, proximity to Arches NP, and a hot breakfast (!).
The lobby is very attractive. Check in was fast and the front desk folks were friendly. We were in a first floor room next to an exit. I would advise against a lower floor near an exit due to the noise. The sounds of people stomping and running on the floor above, as well as the loud banging of the exit door (and interior doors) were very unpleasant. The large room appeared to be clean when we arrived, but then one of our party found glass particles on the carpet which obviously must not have been swept before our arrival. After a phone call, a housekeeper came promptly to sweep it, and he apologized profusely for the condition. The vent fan in the bathroom was terribly loud, and as it was a fan/ceiling light with only one switch, disruptive when in use. As other guests stated, the breakfast items were not hot, but they were tasty and the portions generous. The breakfast attendant was friendly and helpful. There should be a better plan for guests to be spaced farther apart, especially at the beverage counter. It was sort of a free for all, and could be revised with better signage on the floor regarding where to stand. If customers had to wait in line out the door and down the hall, it would have felt safer. Many guests ignored the mandatory mask order, and were not courteous enough to allow others space. The pool and surrounding area is very nice, as well as the hot tub. I appreciated the guest laundry, but the room was very small, and did not feel safe at all with other guests hanging out waiting for their wash. Perhaps the laundry room should be limited to one guest at a time.
This is a great location for families with kids, it isn’t far to go downtown for meals. and the proximity to the parks is good.

Hello, Thank you for taking your time to leave us with all of your feed back. I am glad to hear check in was fast, easy, and you liked how friendly our front desk staff is. I apologize for the unwanted noise during your stay, and the issues in the room. I have talked with all of my staff as this is unacceptable. We have fixed the noise from the fan in the bathroom. Masks are mandatory for everyone! We will look into getting more stickers for the floor in the breakfast room near the juice machine and milk. We are glad you enjoyed the pool, hot tub, our playground out back, and our onsite laundry facility. Have a great day, and safe travels.

I got our room for less than $70 including tax (but i may have used a few remaining points from expedia lol) but when we arrived there, i found that they do have winter rates which is cheaper than say, summer. As posted by one reviewer, we went into the breakfast room early a.m (to catch the sunrise) to the stares of alot of miners (and no other tourists). It was a little odd but the hotel itself is a rustic type- charmer (no motel comforters for us) and quite close to the arches park gate. it was literally one of the closest ones to the park, with only 2 other more expensive looking hotels with the same advantage. the room was huge (i only got a standard one) with a wooden bench, a reading chair and other amenities like tv, airconditioning/heater, blow dryer and alarm clock. Staff were pleasant and polite and the lobby was very warm and clean. Plenty of parking space of course..but then its winter.

This an older, cozy inn with a full, hot breakfast. There are individual AC wall units in each room. The room was clean, although there was a reddish brown coffee or ? stain on the coverlet. It was small and could have been easily missed- we just flipped it to the bottom of the bed.
Our issue was the lack of masks by employees. The kitchen is open as you walk into the breakfast area from a separate sitting area. Walking by 4-5 times, the head cook had his mask around his neck at least twice, and at one point there were three individuals in the kitchen without a mask on properly. When we checked in, there is a splash guard, but two different front desk persons never wore a mask. I went to mention the kitchen concern to the manager on duty, who was in her office (glass door), but she was tapping down her cigarette pack and I figured it was pointless if that's the level of supervision for staff.
We had just arrived from Colorado where they wouldn't even serve hot breakfasts, but provided to go bags. In CO, 5 different hotels had sanitary key drops and even one provided disinfecting wipes to wipe off touch points in the room. This may be a difference of concern between states, but I didn't feel safe on our one hotel stay in Utah,
If it wasn't a pandemic, this hotel would have rated a 4 star. Minus 1 star (generous) for inconsistent safety measures.

It pains me to write a negative review during this time when businesses are hurting. However I think people should know what risk they are taking staying at this hotel. While the staff wear masks, they are not taking any measures to protect customers. They are actually enabling situations that allow people to congregate. They offer cafeteria style hot breakfast with no social distancing at the line. No Togo containers are provided, so guests crowd in the room where even the tables are not spaced apart. Even the lobby is full of furniture and guests lounge there having pizza parties in the evening without masks. Last of all, our room was over the swimming pool and the noise in the evening was obnoxious. Stay at your own risk.

Hello, I am very sorry for your experience. We are all wearing masks. We do have all of our tables measured out to 6 feet apart. We do offer trays to put all breakfast items on to take back to the rooms to eat. We do not have togo containers. We do take covid very seriously we have signs on our floors for the social distancing. This past week Moab was very full with everyone traveling for the holiday. We are trying to make our guest experience during this difficult time we are trying to give our customers a good breakfast instead of a bag and go. Sorry we were not aware of a pizza party during the evening. As we will look into this as it is not okay. Have a great day.

Heated pool, hot tub, playground with swings and pirate ship, basketball court, tetherball, horseshoes, fire pit, splash pad, propane grill, wetlands walk, Gym, breakfast, fenced dog area. In room, or delivered coffee.
We had a standard room with a fridge and microwave. It was very clean. Everything worked as it should. Room had a ceiling fan which is a very nice addition I've never had in a standard room before.
Breakfast was exceptional. Hot and cold items that changed every day. Eggs, bacon, sausage, omelette, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles, French toast, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, orange and mango juice.
I observed the hotel next door had a pool that was closed off (covered) as it is still fairly cold outside. The pool here was open and heated. As long as we stayed in the pool it was warm. We loved being able to swim in February!
Covid 19 was taken very seriously. Employees wore masks at all times. Signs and floor stickers posted everywhere. Hot breakfast items served by employees. Condiments like syrup served in small grab N go disposable containers. Employees wiping tables after guests. Etc...
The only negative I have to say is not with the hotel but with the guests that own dogs. This is probably one of the only hotels that allow dogs. You would think dog owners would have more respect and pick up their dogs poop near the basketball courts. This is why most hotels don't allow dogs. Poop was fresh and probably hadn't been seen by hotel employees yet.

We were pleased with Aarchway Inn, it's location close to downtown area, Arches and Canyonland National Parks. The grounds were fabulous: picnic tables, gas grill, playground, fenced dog area, horseshoe pits, basketball court, and lots of grass and trees (we're from Phoenix and were traveling ith a dog so the grounds made a big difference for us with the green!). Well maintained and finishes like metal art on the return grills and rustic wood doors on the dumpster area were noticed and appreciated. The staff was great, good selection of hot breakfast items, coffee shop, laundry onsite - we would stay there again.

We had a good-sized room in this older hotel that has been updated. The room was well lit, with a microwave and a large mini-fridge with freezer. The AC worked well but was noisy. Beds and furniture were comfortable. The sink area was separate from the shower/toilet room, and there was adequate counter space. The shower head was good but placed low. We had a decent breakfast with hot items.

Stayed here one night on a family road trip. I should have read the reviews more carefully. We had time and might have added an extra day in Moab but wanted to get out of this hotel as fast as possible. First when we arrived only a few people were wearing masks in the lobby. There was a plastic divider in front of woman at front but she was not wearing a mask.
Room was very dated and did not feel clean. There was a collection of sanitary napkin bags that were tucked into bathroom towels as a “decoration”. See picture. This seemed really gross as you could imagine that these bags were somewhat wrinkled and not new and were probably picked up off the floor when the last people left and stuck in our clean towels. Yuck. Next there was a very obvious blood stain on the sheet on one bed. I don’t know how housekeeping could not notice that. Floors were dirty in corners. There was a wrinkled, clearly re-used note in each bed about not replacing sheets and towels daily. I am all for re-using things and not replacing linens every day but the papers were gross looking.
The walls were made of paper and although I asked at check in for a quiet room we were right inside a door so we could hear all the noise from the parking lot and the door opening and closing all night and early in the morning. This was super annoying bc the front desk lady told us that rooms 130 and 131 were her “favorite”.
Breakfast was not terrible.
Would not recommend.

Hello, I would like to apologize that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We do have a mandate mask order here in Grand County ordered by the governor. When you are behind the plexy glass shields it is not recommended to wear a mask. All employees are wearing their masks. All sanitary napkin bags are replaced daily in each room. For the cleanness in the room we do have a few housekeepers that are in training. Our rooms are checked daily before check in. We all do take pride in our business and want to make sure that each and everyone of our guest feel comfortable and at home while they are staying with us. If you have any recommendations on anything we can change we are more than happy to hear. We hope you can give us another chance. Have a great day.

The slightly odd name should not deter you from spending the night at this lovely hotel practically next door to Arches National Park. We stumbled upon this place through Bookings when looking for a reasonably prices hotel. At a price point lower than some of the chain hotels we took a chance and were pleasantly surprised so much that we added a night. The two queen bed room was spacious with all the now expected amenities (tv, mini-fridge, microwave) with an additional gem - a ceiling fan with light. Not something we’ve seen in our travels it was lovely to have extra lighting and the circulation of air! Front desk staff was welcoming and assured us they would be ready for our late night arrival (desk is manned 24-hours per day). We stayed in the back of the hotel and were able to park right near the entry door making for easy loading of our gear. Shower/tub had great pressure and temperature. One of the two ice machines was out of order but both are easily accessible from the lobby. If you’re going to Arches and don’t want to stay all the way in downtown Moab jump on a room here.

Not sure but the hotel staff is very helpful and will shuttle you to a rental place.
Not necessarily. You could probably find a meal but the restaurants are a short drive down toward the city.
Please contact the hotel directly with your question. I am a past guest.
The hotel does allow booking under 21. We do ask that the guest is at least 18.
Hello! Unfortunately we do not allow pets, I apologize. The reason for this is to ensure that any guests with allergies can also enjoy their time with us. We do have a wonderful pet hotel here in town that we can help direct you to.
