Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Place got great location, but so all the others hotels on Main St. When called directly to make a reservation I was charged $275.00 for TWO nights on a King Bed, because it was the "only room available". Next day, saw rooms available on Expedia for $199 for the two nights. Check in was fast and front desk attendant super friendly. However on our last night, the front desk attendance is grumpy and not service oriented. No breakfast, which some others hotels in Main St. offer...! Place is kind of wear out, but room was spotless when checked in. Refrigerator wouldn't work properly (freeze everything) toilet was broken and continuously filling the tank As I tittle the review, its an overpriced placed just for the location.

Thank you for your shout out to our housekeeping and front desk team. We appreciate you staying in our one King Bed with a balcony. It was the only room with one king bed available for the dates you were staying with us. Thank you for letting us know the toilet may need some attention. We do wish you alerted us the problem during your two nights stay so we could have address it right away to make your stay with us more enjoyable. We hope to have the pleasure of host you again the next time you are in Moab.

Stayed here prior to several day "outback" camping trip into Canyonlands. Motel is reasonable priced, clean and on the main road thru town. Several restaurants are adjacent or across street from hotel but I choose to eat in room to avoid crowded conditions and COVID19. Hotel is a little "dated" but clean. I was here for hiking not resort experience so was very pleased. Ample parking. Staff was very friendly.

We stayed here in order to be close to see Arches National Park the next morning. Hotels are very expensive in this area so even though this was one of the best priced ones it was still a little over $200 per night. It's an older hotel but pretty good shape and the room was very clean. The front desk staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the shower has two spray heads.

Not fancy, but clean and the beds were comfortable. Location was very convenient and the folks at the desk went out of their way to help locate a roll-away when I requested it. Overall a great experience and I'd recommend!

Sadly other than the great downtown location, and there are many others with this feature, I would avoid this hotel! The hallway outside our room was littered with cigarette butts and sunflower seed shells and extremely dusty throughout our entire stay. We asked the cleaning staff to address this problem and they said, “If we clean it, it will just get dirty again.” Seriously?!?! The front desk staff was not accommodating at all. The pool is far smaller than the photos suggest and the jacuzzi was only half filled with water. The walls are paper thin making mornings and evenings very noisy. There appears to be very little employee supervision or accountability from management and as a result, the inmates are running the asylum. Do not recommend.

Lobby hours are 7am to 11pm. We locked ourselves out of the room twice so far and no one is there to help before 7am. The first time cards didn’t work we asked for 2 working ones, they would only give us one and it took forever for them to fix it. I only have time to write this because I called the number and she’s making us wait. I’ve been training for this bike event 6 months and now my bike is locked in the room the morning of. The hotel is old and shabby, which is ok but the pictures are false advertising. There’s is also something in the room that made me sneeze non stop.

I stayed three nights with my kids at Hotel Moab Downtown March 18-21, 2021. I made the reservation using my Debit car and paid the bill with my Amex card. The total bill was 511.77 for my stay. I was charged the total amount on my Amex, and an additional $132.47 on my Debit. I realized a few weeks later and assumed Hotel Moab made a mistake, so April 7, I sent a detailed email with my reservation and dates of the changes. I then followed up with a phone call to ensure they received it. They said they did receive it and were working to correct it.

Fast forward to August, I realized they never credited back my debit for $132.47, so I emailed and called again. Same thing, the lady who answered said it was not her decision, but Tiffany, the owner would fix this. I emailed one more time and never once received a response, so I made a charge back through my Debit card company and am posting this to warn you.

It’s unacceptable for me to have to spend this much time over a clear mistake by Hotel Moab. It’s possible I’m not the only one they did this to, knowing the trouble and time we have to go through, and profit from it. I cannot recommend anyone stay here. Be warned.

I apologize for the oversight. I really thought we corrected the issue back in early April. I now found your email from August in our spam folder, but it is no excuse. We should have followed up with you in April to ensure the charge on a different card was reversed. Please accept my apology for the trouble and time you have spent on this matter.

This place was clean, nice, and had a pool. It was the cheapest option we could find that also seemed nice and that was what we got. The town of Moab was small, but the hotel was pretty close to the park entrance of both Arches and Canyonland, which is exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend if you are looking for a slightly cheaper option!

Good, doable, not great, but would stay again.
The best: The room was QUIET which is of utmost importance to me. Location is also a plus being centrally located on the Main Street in walking distance of everything. The room is clean.
The other: The motel does NOT have a breakfast, does NOT have coffee or tea in the lobby before 8 am, if then, and not after 6 pm, if then, and does NOT have a laundry room. The photograph of the motel utilizing the poolside view is at the motel's most glamorous; not that it's bad, it just misrepresents the hotel, which is a 60ish product...which I mush prefer to the modern ugliness getting thrown up especially on the outskirts of town. (The City of Moab and the Nat'l Parks must not have an architectural standard for new buildings.) The room could use a towel upgrade, fix the fridge "ticking" and perhaps going to a hard floor would be best.

Great location within walking distance of downtown, restaurants, outdoor-gear shop, Rim Cyclery bike shop, liquor store, etc. Breakfast not included, but there's an excellent diner across the street or a gas station nearby with pastries and breakfast burritos that you can bring back to have with coffee in your room. Front desk folks were friendly and helpful.

A group of my family stayed at this hotel lasts October. My brother had made the reservations online (I think through booking com). He also spoke with someone at the hotel several times before we arrived. (However, I think it was a different person each time he called). They still messed up our reservations. He had called to cancel a couple rooms ahead of time, but when we arrived we found out that one had not been cancelled - even though he had supposedly spoken to the manager to do the cancellation. We ended up paying one night for the room that they did not cancel!
