The hotel was excellent, great service, amazing rooftop bar, they have a grocery store in the hotel. The main issue was it was very hard to navigate where to go in the hotel, also not located in the best spot. Lots of crime around this area, lots of homelessness. So be careful before you bring your family.
Everyone, from check-in to check-out, has been super friendly and eager to please. Any request we had, they were on top of it. The central location made it very easy to get around the city and any questions we had, the concierge was ready with plenty of info. We had an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge from our room. Would definitely stay here again.
Good hotel, great location. Staff were great. Rooms a little tired. Homeless situation around the hotel isn’t good, but there are plenty of door staff/security so we always felt safe The hotel is big and the lobby has a a nice bar area which is good for relaxing Beds were comfortable.
We had a friendly and helpful welcome in this clean, enormous! hotel. We were in the 3rd tower, large and clean rooms. We never had to wait for the lift, despite the huge number of people. The sky bar was impressive, but expensive. I guess you’re paying for the view too. Good breakfast options available at Jaspers, which is opposite. The downside was that we didn’t feel that safe in the area around the hotel once night fell.
The first expression of the hotel, it is huge but very, very dated! Carpets are old and brown. Somehow, I think that once upon a time the hotel could have allowed smoking. I don’t know but the hotel had a strange old smell everywhere in the lobby, on the floor and in the room. I had the impression the hotel hasn’t been updated for a very long time. The rooms are ok, the beds are comfortable, but the blankets a bit thin, so I needed another blanket which was provided asap. In the bathroom there is a bathtub over which there is the shower facility. There is no separate shower. There is a good size fridge. There are also USB plug points. Service is very good, and staff are friendly. The lobby is great because it has so much space to sit and chill out. There is also a huge bar in the lobby and a shop where you can buy sandwiches, drinks etc. If you get food from outside there is another area where you can eat your take aways. There is a gift shop and a very good-sized heated swimming pool that shuts at 9 pm, as well as a very hot jacuzzi. We made good use of these facilities. Towels are provided. The hotel is well located if you want to be in downtown, but there is a huge problem of homelessness and everywhere around this area where you find all the fancy hotels you find streets scattered full of homeless people. It is very sad. I hope the town can do something about homelessness and give housing to these people. It is horrible to witness.…
Hotel is nice, in a central area but the breakfast is $115 for a party of two. Buffet breakfast, eggs and a bagel. As a long time Hilton Diamond Member this was extremely surprising. I have eaten dinner at Michelin star restaurants for only $60 dollars more and the meal was amazing. If you stay here skip breakfast, go across the street to Jaspers. Much more affordable and better food.
As per the title, this hotel was simply a disappointment on so many levels. From service to location and general drabness of the place. Issues from initial check in and availability of the rooms, service from the staff as a whole in the sky bar, reception and concierge all really poor, seemed no one really wanted to be there! But can understand why, the place appears to be stuck in the 1980s and is in need of a face lift everywhere. Location was ok, but warned by a couple of locals to not go off the main street by the hotel at night, as to quote "not a great neighbourhood". Ultimately only spent a few nights here and glad it wasn't more. Would certainly look elsewhere next time and do better research on locations and facilities - more fool us I suppose!
$60 daily parking. $12 beer, $12 Wi-Fi ( that doesn’t work!) for posting customers, but free in lobby for those who aren’t. Average room, generic elsewhere. Location good, staff lovely, though. SF is great, but find somewhere that doesn’t rob you quite so shamelessly.
Perfectly located for accessing all the benefits of San Francisco by foot or affordable Uber/scooter/taxi. Great cafe in lobby for getting baked goods in the morning and coffee along with snack and deli items. Clean rooms and great customer service.
Pretty standard business hotel conveniently located close to Union Square. Surrounding area can be a little iffy with lots of homeless people around. Hotel itself is well worn and the room old but clean and comfortable. Gym was nice with lots of machines, towels provided and a drinking fountain. The wifi connection was a disaster but I was told it was a city-wide problem. That said, I didn’t seem to have issues connecting via my mobile network
