I have a great experience at Hotel VIA. First off the customer service was perfect. Vonna, Stephanie and the rest of the hotel crew was absolutely perfect. They provided me with great information about the city. They made me feel like I was at home....More
Very new and cool spot. Good place for after the ball games. Lively crowd and friendly bar staff. Not the cheapest drinks but good quality. Sat ta the bar with friends and enjoyed a couple of drinks. Always good to chat to new people.
Hotel Via was "selected" for me by Hotwire. Definitely pleased with the luck of the draw on this one. Almost brand new (approx. 1 year old), located directly across from Giants baseball stadium. Don't really know enough about layout of SF to tell whether this...More
Last minute trip to San Francisco to attend a Giants baseball game brought us to this gem of a Hotel directly across the street from the entrance of the ball park thus eliminating additional parking fees. Let’s start by saying easy access after exiting the...More

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
