Edenbrook Motel is a family run business since we opened in 1953. Our modest rooms in the 1st and 3rd are updated and accommodating families, and with a covered porch. The 2nd and 4th rooms are modern and very up-to-date with balconies and top floor of the 4th has views of Frenchman's Bay. This is reflected in the prices. We welcome reviews from all our guests.

Photo is outdated. Rooms are remodeled. Front desk was polite and courtesy. They were helpful with restaurant recommendations and shuttle bus information. Location was great! Room was very clean and daily housekeeper was wonderful! Bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay there again!

My friend and I stayed at Edenbrook last week and we loved it. Because of some major issues with our rental car and getting a replacement we did not get the chance to enjoy Acadia at all. Being from overseas we had to stay connected to the wifi and in close proximity of a land phone line to stay in touch with the rental company. The ladies at the front desk were so so nice, understanding and helpful! We couldn't have resolved the issues without them! Thank you very very much dear April and Meghan. The motel itself is ideally located, right next to the park and within walking distance of Bar Harbor. The rooms are big, clean and the beds are comfy. We even saw some deer from our balcony. We would definately choose to stay at the Edenbrook again!

Stayed 2 nights right after Labor Day. Was one of the cheapest motels in Bar Harbor but was still over $200 a night. This for a motel right out of the 60’s. To be fair it was clean and quiet but still to far to walk to town. There is a free bus you can catch next door as you don’t want to try to park in town. There must be a 100 hotels/motels in Bar Harbor, just be prepared to spend a lot during the season. This motel has the usual 100 channels on the TV but they block out the Fox News channel so you might want to keep that in mind.

Such a lovely stay! Sara was the girl who checked us in; she was friendly and lovely. So nice to have a pleasant chat at check in! The property is close to town and quiet. Our room was in building 4, at the top of the hill. Large room with a front and back entrance, each with chairs to sit out and get some air. We had a small view of the water from our room, which was really pretty at sunrise. Clean rooms and grounds and parking specifically for our room. We would return here for sure!

We loved this place. It is about 2 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor. There are no services here, but restaurants are near. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It is so quiet, and you can actually open windows and get fresh air in the room. We would defiantly come back!

We stayed in a king bed room. We were able to have a partial view of the ocean. It was ok, but bit pricey! Nothing fancy about the motel. It was clean and near to downtown with easy connect. It does not offer breakfast, so you have to make your arrangements!

A very clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay when heading to Bar Harbor. Close enough to walk into town to avoid the traffic and parking fees. Beautifully landscaped and friendly office staff. All at an affordable price!

Nice family owned inn overlooking the bay. We had a room in the 4th building sitting up on the hill. The view of the bay was really nice. Our room was clean and quiet. We stayed two nights. Close to Acadia National Park entrance and Bar Harbor downtown.

Small rooms but all new.clean and efficient. Beds were comfortable, plenty of pilloiws. Not on the water front but so close. The price difference per night is worth the 5 minute drive. Parking prices on water front are very reasonable and spots are plentiful. Designated parking spots for each room so no searching for close spots. Both front desk people were super friendly.
