To confirm what was said before: yes, this hotel is a dump. everything is run down. EVERYTHING. Bed, linen, furniture, bathroom...
and it seems to be a "meeting place" for short time lovers...I had very noisy neighbours for some minutes. Surroundings is terrible: Massage places and bad food everywhere.
but hey, at 59$ it is probably still the best option for some cheap hours - bring earplugs and take a shower before you leave and you will be ok.
These other reviewers must have stayed in a "different" hotel.
Lobby staff was helpful and most friendly.
Would stay there again.
if you can drive a car, then this budget hotel is convenience.
The room I stayed in was comfortable and furnished with your standard hotel furniture. It did have a refrigerator which was really nice to keep my drinks and snacks cold. And the TV, I didn't realize a hotel could have so many channels...and it's all free! I think they had about 60 channels or so! Not that you should spend your whole day in the room cause Guam has a lot to offer. I actually rented one of their cars at the hotel for a couple days just to drive around on my own. But even if you don't rent a car, you can always take the longer and sometimes more interesting route of the shopping buses. It takes you around the major cities(?) in Guam and stops off at the larger hotels and shopping centers. You can actually catch them across the street at the Aluupang Hotel there.
Overall, I had a great time in Guam and I was happy to have found a place that wasn't over $100 a night! I know I will return...
My room was clean, insect-free, with aircon, TV and small fridge. Quiet too.
The staff were friendly and gave me tips for where to go and what to see. There was free pick-up and drop-off at the airport.
The car rental was a great deal (cheaper than what the car rental companies quoted me). So although the hotel was not in the main tourist belt, I had no problem driving around all over Guam.
Really had a good time there, and I'll definitely stay there again next time...
Most of the the reviews are old and outdated
Very run down. smelled like dirty dish towels through out the hotel. Rooms were as to be expected, small, but the beds were horrible! Would not even sit on the sofa.
Staff were very nice, friendly and very plesant. The locations was central so that was good. The people that hung around the lobby and outside were not. Actaully made be nervous. and were there at all hours of the morning. sleeping on the chairs in the lobby and drinking outside. Internet (WIFI) throught out hotel.. but very, very low signal!
Suggestions: Rip up the carpet and tile the whole place. NEW BEDS and sofas!
Get rid of the people hanging around the lobby. NEW TOWELS.
"Third floor all rooms stink. Second have huge rooms, with rock hard beds. Just book somewhere else."Read full review
