Your private beach is very rocky. Great to look out over water, but not for little kids. We stayed in Papaya suite and the outlets would go off and on all the time. Very hard to charge phones. Manager came and checked and said must be all our cords. Got home and they worked fine. The laundry is great, uses no soap, (bonus),location is great.outdoor bathroom awesome, it’s really a very nice setup. Would give 5 stars but for the charging phone problem. Had kitchen utensils, ice in freezer, air conditioner, management is very friendly. Walk across street, PCC, 15 minutes to north shore beaches. Just over an hour from airport, location again awesome. Beds and pillows very comfortable, had regular towels and beach towels for us. Had snorkels and chairs we used. Quiet, private. Neighbors raise chickens and you could hear them, but it wasn’t loud enough to be a bother. Need a rental car! Regular tours won’t come pick up at location. We used a private tour company to come get us to do an island tour with Pearl Harbor Arizona tour and that was awesome. Used a rental to get us everywhere else. PCC had food trucks and different food vendors, shopping so that was great. Must stop at Lenard’s food truck for malasads, PCC ones not as good. We liked Fumi’s shrimp truck better than Giovanni’s. teds bakery was great. Visit sea glass jewelry store just past Fumi’s. Awesome pieces and cheap souvenirs next door. Three tables beach saw 4 turles I. The water, great for snorkeling. Bring water shoes as north shore beaches all have rocks. Not like Waikiki beaches at all. Again we would stay there again if we ever go back to Hawaii:). Had a wonderful mom and girls vacation!

Mahalo for taking the time to share your feedback! We appreciate your input and are pleased to say that we have successfully addressed the electrical issue in the Papaya unit. Our beachfront location offers a unique experience, as the shoreline transforms weekly—sometimes revealing a rocky terrain with a steep descent to the sand, while other times presenting a generous stretch of sandy shores. Mother nature does her thing....and we let her. For the ultimate convenience in exploring the area, having a rental car is highly recommended, and we are delighted to offer a small fleet of cars to enhance your stay. Particularly, if you plan on visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC), our location is ideal, just across the street! It provides the perfect setup for an enriching experience. While Waikiki is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, we believe that Laie offers a unique charm for both living and relaxation. Our little piece of Hawaii is a testament to the tranquility and beauty that this side of the island has to offer. We invite you to come and experience it for yourself. It’s a perfect ending to a vacation that starts with a good time in Waikiki. We look forward to hosting you and sharing the beauty of our little corner of paradise.

We just completed a vacation for our family of 4 that included 3 nights/4 days at Tiki Moon Villas Ocean Sun villa. This property was exactly as advertised and represented in the photos. The accommodations are modern, very well maintained and provide an incredible setting to use as a home base to explore the North Shore.

I've reads many comments about the water being rough in front of the property. We experienced well above average winds for the duration of our stay and, yes, the water was rough. Our 11 year old son was still able to do a little snorkeling out front and play in the water. We were disappointed the weather didn't cooperate a little more but so happy to have these great accommodations to weather through the wind (and a little rain).

This simply is a windy area and people need to manage expectations of what the shoreline access will provide. We'd have loved to have calm waters and a placid quiet front patio for relaxing. Unfortunately that's not the reality for almost any property in this area.

What more than made up for it is the great location in a very nice little community with all the services anyone could require. We travelled north and south on a daily basis and couldn't have been happier to return to Tiki Moon at the end of each day.

We had a wonderful family reunion at the Tiki Moon Villas. There were 28 of us so we maxed out all the accommodations. All the separate buildings were very nice and accommodated separate families very well including complete kitchens. The grounds are very attractive and well taken care of. The location is great if you want good access to everything on the North Shore of Oahu, especially being right across the street from the Polynesian Cultural Center and not far from Climb Works Zip Lines. Having the beach right there was especially appealing to grandchildren and offered great views. It was also very easy to work with Azlina in making the reservations and getting answers to our questions.

We found Papaya 3 when looking for a place to stay with our two teenage grandchildren for 5 days after a large family Christmas vacation. It proved just what we needed with beach access, comfortable outdoor seating protected from the winds we seemed to have every day, centrally located on the island, clean and comfortable - but not luxurious.
The wifi enabled the kids to do their online schooling, the outside shower was hot and fun, the gardens are beautiful and well kept. No dishwasher taught the kids how to wash-up!
An enjoyable stay! Thank you...

We rented all five villas for the family to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We all loved it! The north shore is windy, the sand was sometimes hard to navigate because it was deep, and the water has more rocks, but the kids didn't seem to notice at all! I should mention the neighbors roosters. They crowed a lot, but after a day or two, we didn't notice it so badly. We all ate together in the common area each morning and evening, cooking in the kitchens of the villas. There is a grocery store just north, (Foodland), and a couple really good restaurants and a shaved ice place located beside Foodland. The younger people found different hikes and beaches in the area. Also, the Polynesian Culture Center just across the street has shops and other options. Anything else takes an hour-long drive. The gentleman who came each day to maintain the property (Mr. Mallard) didn't bother us at all, and in fact, we had to engaged him in conversation. He was very pleasant and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. It is much quieter at the villas than Honolulu, which is just what we were looking for. It was a great vacation!

We found Tiki Moon Villas by chance and it has proven to be a very wonderful stay. We stayed in the Ocean Breeze and it was right on the beach front with a patio for viewing the sunrise. The beach was clean and isolated with a section further along without coral that was good for swimming. Several other beaches are within driving and walking distance. The Polynesian cultural centre is across the street. The cottage itself was clean, well stocked with all household appliances, towels and toiletries. Bring your own alcohol as Laie does not sell alcohol or drive to nearby towns to purchase. Azlina and Ray are excellent hosts and ensured that our stay was comfortable and helped with our questions. Definitely a place to return to.

We have nothing but good things to say about our stay . The Villa was clean and well stocked, they even had a little monkey blanket in the pack and play for my grand-baby. It was close to the grocery store. We hiked , snorkeled , walked across the street to the Polynesian Center , ante at several food trucks and went on a ORV tour of the Kualoa Ranch . The grounds keeper Glen was great and the host responded very fast to any questions we had . I highly recommend Tiki Villa.

My family’s stay at the Tiki Moon Villas was exceptional! I’ve been planning my husband’s 40th birthday trip for two years and when we arrived at our villa, it encompassed everything paradise about Hawaii! I traveled with my husband, two teenaged daughters, and my niece. We were comfortable in our two-bedroom villa with two bathrooms. We
stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed the beautiful views of the ocean and the property was so pristine adorned with palm trees and a pond. My favorite part was waking up to the sounds of the roosters crowing each morning. My husband prefers the countryside over the city so this was the perfect stay away from the city life of Honolulu, which was about an hour drive from Tiki Moon Villas. The drive to the city is a beautiful scenic route, so it made the hour pass by very quickly. I would definitely stay at this spot again!

Magical relaxing experience. I stayed 3 nights here before a week full of work meetings. Ray and his wife were very polite, helpful, responsive, kind and yet let me enjoy my stay in peace and quiet. I traveled solo and it was safe and relaxing. The room was very clean 10/10 property is way more beautiful in person. I highly recommend and i hope to return someday!

I booked Ocean Breeze in April 2021 for a stay in October and paid in advance. The owners called me 3 days before our stay to let me know the room needed repairs and there were no other rooms available. Luckily, we found somewhere else to stay short notice.

It really isn't a swimming beach. The sand is awesome for playing but there's lots of coral and it's a bit rough going in the water.
