Whilst the villa is comfortable for 5 us ( 2 adults, 3 teenagers) there were just somethings that could have been more welcoming. When we arrived the lights were on to welcome us, though it would have been nice to walk into a cool villa and have had the air- conditioning on and there were other little things that didn’t impact our stay. Definitely need a car here otherwise you’re limited to what to do and where to eat. The villa has everything you need to cook, clean. The bathroom towels are bit small size wise. You can’t use the Ritz Carlton facilities but you can eat at the restaurants etc Being Australian everything is supper expensive worse that there is no cheap supermarket close by. Otherwise definitely recommend to stay here.

My group of eight was very comfortable in our room. The pool is very nice, as is the hot tub. They also have a beach that, while it is public, not a lot of people are there (though that could have been the season). I’m not sure if everyone has the same caretaker, but Jen Williams was wonderful. We had a little bit of a rocky vacation, but she was able to extend our stay by half a week, gave us recommendations on things to do on Oahu, and helped us rent a vehicle! The cleaning lady for our room was also very nice and apologetic, even though we arrived early, and dutifully set us up with towels, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, plates, silverware, and cups. The microwave and stove and oven worked well and the views were amazing!

We stayed in Ocean Villa #105. We loved the location, the space and the amenities. Everything you need is provided: fully equipped kitchen, snorkels, fins, chairs, umbrellas - so many items! The customer service was awesome - every text was answered. But we didn't need to contact very often as their arrival and departure instructions are incredibly clear. The bay is paradise. There are also hiking trails that you can walk or horseback on, golf, and a pool. It is a short drive to Halewai, Shark's Cove and Waimea Falls. Would definitely return!

Our family of 5 plus 2 grandmothers stayed a week in a 4 bedroom 2nd floor end unit (on the hotel side) to celebrate my mom's 75th birthday. The unit itself was well cleaned, organized, appointed, and maintained. Our balcony overlooking calm Kulima Cove with big winter North Shore rollers beyond was gorgeous. It was insanely expensive for our normal budget, but everything was right at hand for our two 75 year year olds and active teens, so we splurged for the special occasion and it was worth it!
My husband and I walked the beach to the right of Kulima on our first morning and came across an endangered monk seal napping high in the sand. The kids learned to surf on the big Turtle Bay rollers while the grandmothers cheered and took photos from The Point outdoor restaurant/pool area. My mom braved the little slide here too, to my daughters' delight. I taught my mom to snorkel in the cove and she was impressed at the many colorful fish we spotted close to shore. My daughter and I also spotted a large turtle resting, wedged under a rock a bit further out. Rocky and Kahuna were busy surfing with younger kids on the left side of Kulima, entertaining us all throughout the week.
Visit if you can for luxury adventure.

The location is great, you are just a few steps from a beautiful beach.
The Villas are very old. They are not part of the hotel, so you can not use all hotel amenities. You are allowed to used the hotel restaurant and to rent chairs at the beach (which are complimentary to hotel guests). They do not have daily housekeeping, and they were not very clean at day 1.
Villas need to be fully renewed. PD: The hotel is completely renewed and looks great.

This was our second time staying at the Turtle Bay properties, but our first time staying in the Ocean Front Villas. They were fantastic. The communication from the time we booked all the way up until check in was great. The villas themselves are plenty spacious and gave our 4 person family plenty of room. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The pool is nice. The locker with all the goodies to use at the beach was a huge hit for our young kids.
Turtle Bays property is incredible. If you've never been to it or stayed here I highly highly recommend it. From the beach area, to the hotel, to the pool and restaurants, the hiking, it's everything you want in a Hawaiian vacation.
Unfortunately, after the remodel and renovations, staying in the actual Turtle Bay resort is not going to be an option for us. The renovations are absolutely incredible, but the prices are now outrageous. Definitely recommend staying at the Villas instead. They're more spacious, gated parking, etc. While still not cheap, their prices are much better overall. You can still use the beach and eat and walk all around the Turtle Bay properties. You can't use the pool (even though my 6 year old went down their water slide several times).
Overall, our experience with Ocean Front Villas at Turtle Bay was top notch.

Do NOT stay at the Turtle Bay Villas, stay at the RESORT. Please save yourself. It’s a complete rip off compared to the Resort next door. Villa is a really misleading word. It’s really dinky it feels like a cheap cheap apartment. There are no amenities you don’t even have bottled water waiting for you just a huge old binder of rules. The whole complex feels cheap it’s just terrible. The resort next door is just amazing and perfect and there’s no reason to come over here if you don’t stay there. The biggest problem is their nightmare customer service. If you have a problem they do not answer their phone…my pregnant wife and I couldn’t reach them for 30 hours and when I finally did I was of course stern. Didn’t curse at them but I did mention legal options for the horrible experience thus far. No one WANTS to do that but we just feel helpless and have no one other options. The rep Gina instantly played like she was the victim, weaseled her way into blaming us for not calling enough times, and screamed and shouted at me on the phone. I had to de-escalate when normally it’s the customer service rep who de-escalates. Ridiculous. Within 2 minutes on the phone called me a liar when I said I called and left voicemails AFTER I sent proof. Save yourselves there is no value here, the resort next door is cheaper.

It is great location but our Condo was disappointing. It obviously hadn't been updated for decades and was in need of new furniture, paint and repairs. The towel rail came off the bathroom wall the first time we used it, the furnitue was banged up and the lamps and overhead lights were in a state of disrepair. Considering the price it was unacceptable.

Great location and beautiful beach. Condo we stayed in is dated, furniture is old, no full sized fridge or dishwasher. Overpriced compared to others we have stayed in. Would recommend the hotel if you want to stay at Turtle Bay, and btw the area is beautiful. Lots to do and see.

We rented two villas and a studio (through Gina's Vacation Villas) for a large family group. Everyone in the group agreed that we could not have found a better place to stay in Oahu. The North Shore is quiet and laid back with natural beauty, many activities, farm stands and food trucks and very warm and friendly people. The villas have access to a beautiful protected swimming and snorkeling cove (we saw turtles and an array of reef fish) with an amazing beach, a quiet private well maintained pool and all of the wonderful and varied activities offered at Turtle Bay Resort. The villas provide a spacious homey environment (large living spaces, completely stocked kitchen, washer and dryer) and easy walking distance to TBR restaurants, bars, entertainment and recreational activities. It is a short easy drive to explore - Kahuku food trucks, Ted's Bakery, Haleiwa, Kualoa Ranch, Waimea Valley, as well as the absolutely amazing beaches that line the North Shore. Gina and family were very friendly and accommodating hosts. We rented ground floor units and access from the lanais was very convenient. Incredible views from the lanai and beautiful grounds. We loved the quiet pool and hot tub area with its shaded loungers for reading and napping. This became a convenient and lovely gathering place for the group in the late afternoon. We loved watching the sunset from The Point at the resort. We also enjoyed dinner at Roy's Beach House and Lei Lei's - all within a short and pleasant stroll.
