This is the worst 5 star property I have ever set foot in. Here for about 5 days. Arrived late night after a long drive and unceremoniously handed two plastic/wooden leis by the vallet. No one else around except for a night duty guy. Room was ready as requested with crib etc

Aloha Pwilma, Thank you for your candid review about your recent stay. Please accept our apology that your visit was a disappointment to you. Our staff take great pride in the level of service we provide, and based on your review we fell well below your expectations. I did want to let you know that the resort was completely renovated in 2009 and all beaches in Hawaii are open to the public. We also apologize that the lei presentation upon your arrival was not conducted properly, although we do offer authentic Kukui Nut Lei to our guests. Your observations about staff members and other conditions are taken seriously and we will address your comments with the appropriate managers for follow-up. We hope to have the opportunity to regain your confidence in the future. Sincerely,

Amazing place to stay. The beach and pool areas were simply beautiful. The coconut French toast is amazing and addictive. Live music every night. Everyone had smiles. Helpful tips: Plan to rent a car to get there, it is on the NE part of the island. It is a $130 taxi ride from

Aloha Steve P, Mahalo for taking the time to write a review about your recent stay. The Kama'aina Room Offer does not include complimentary resort fee and valet parking. We have spoken with the reservation team and apologize about the confusion. We are also very sorry that a follow-up call was not done in a timely manner. We appreciate your kind comments that the staff was pretty helpful to you, and we will also ensure that associates are more prompt with deliveries to guest rooms. Thank you for your feedback. Sincerely,

A bit run down. The room was pleasant but I also feel you are not 8n your room that much. The beach and grounds are incredible. The property site is second to none. I feel it is worth the visit but prices are high.

Casual, everyone really was wearing whatever they were comfortable in. Jacket not needed for restaurants for men and since it is hot there in the summer months really anything that is breathable

I took my 13 year old daughter to Hawaiian Surf Adventures about 10 minutes from the St. Regis. They use the small waves in the bay and also do lesson further out of needed. We paid $150 for and hour and a half lesson. Enjoy your vacation!
