We have stayed at the Grand Hyatt Kauai four times now, with the most recent being four nights, July 28-August 1, 2018. This hotel remains our favorite of all the hotels/homes/resorts where we've stayed in any country. This time, we were able to use Hyatt...More

One of the truly beautiful hotel locations in the world and they make the most of the opportunity they have developed. The Hotel has a wide range of activities and amenities for families and couples both on site and throughout the island.

The beach has great waves. My kids ages 11 & 15 said the beach at the grand Hyatt was their favorite part of our trip. The grand Hyatt does not provide rentals though. Many people were surfing and using boogie boards that they brought on their own. So-if your kids are good swimmers they’ll love it.

I would normally think that they do not but I was there on Mother’s Day and there were twice as many people at the pool. This makes me believe they made a special deal for people to come during Mother’s Day to use the pool.
