Booked trip and paid for ocean view but as you can see from the pic, we had a pool view instead. Hotel staff was non responsive when questioned about the room and even less so regarding the broken firepit and hot tub. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel

This place is a dump. Smelly room ✔️ Old dirty carpet in the room and throughout the hotel ✔️ Dirty carpet in the breakfast area ✔️ Digusting unknown stuff all over the walls in the room and the lanai ✔️ It’s rundown and is more like a motel 6 - no free breakfast either - and

Aloha goldenjambo, Thank you for taking the time to review your most recent stay with us. Our current renovation is addressing any issue that can be thought of. From the front desk, elevator ride, hallway walk, and room amenities. Everything is being replaced, repainted, and refreshed. We apologize for not being able to deliver that experience to you this visit. We hope that we will be able to show you our new remodel next time you visit Kaua'i. Mahalo

It’s very apparent that locals come and use the pool for their kids’ pool party. And they aren’t hotel guests. They came in swarms from the parking lot with car keys in hand or hanging around their neck. They walk right past the bar and to the pool. I have no issues with the

Aloha Beachtravelers912, Thank you very much for your comments regarding our nice hotel and location. We are very fortunate to be located in Kapaa. Kapaa town has restaurants, shops and activities for guests and patrols to enjoy. As an additional comment for future guests, Kapaa town has an art walk/festival every first Saturday of each month. Please join us for fun, food, and of course music. We hope that in the future if a guest has a concern about their stay that it is voiced to management at the time of its claim so as to be investigated. A falsifiable claim such as "locals using the pool" is inappropriate topic for review. Just because someone was identifiable, does not give you the right to assume they were not paying guests. Our security team is on staff 7 days a week to keep our guests safe and protected. Thank you again for your review. Mahalo

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our Kauai trip after spending one week in Poipu. Checkin was quick and we were given a corner room with a nice ocean view as Platinum guests. Shortly after we settled in we noticed the carpet in front of the bathroom was soaking wet.

Aloha Mrs_loves_2_travel, Thank you very much or your candid review of your recent stay at our hotel. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, and future travelers. We greatly appreciate your comments on our efficient check-in process and customer service. The staff will be delighted to hear your satisfaction. The Courtyard by Marriott at Coconut beach and ocean safety bureau of Kaua'i recommend to swim only at beach locations life-guarded. The closest life-guarded beach in proximity to us is Lydgate Beach Park just 2 miles away. We are happy that you and your children were able to visit and have a great experience there. The sunrise and daytime swimming are very relaxing. Thank you again for your review and we hope that you are able to revisit with us after our renovation is completed. Mahalo

The setting: You are 15-20 minutes north of LIH Airport. The property is 5 minutes south of the tourist hub of Kapa’a. There is a large Long’s Pharmacy store just before the parking lot to the hotel, with all the conveniences, food, drinks and beach needs one may want. They

Free breakfast wasn't so great here. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby and walkable too. All suites are the same so only upgrade is a pool view or ocean view. Who cares. We never spent much time looking out a window or sitting on a balcony. There's so much else to do. Don't waste points.

When do the renovations start? I’m staying October 25th-31st
Please do not take me wrong, but it would be best to contact property directly since if any of "us" would make mistake it may ruin your holiday and none of us wants that. I wish I could put here email address, but that is not allowed. cheers

That negotiable with the hotel. You may post a cash deposit. Don’t miss this hotel just because of a bank or a credit card. It’s value and location are priceless
