My family, six of us, stayed here for a week. This was the perfect place for us on the big island. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Two bedrooms plus sofa bed. Has a full working kitchen and washer and dryer. Perfect for a family of six to have some meals on site. Additionally, there are barbecue grills out back. And the grocery store only minutes away in the Queens shopping center. Great way to save some money on the trip. The Kings Land pool is wonderful, and you also have access to all the pools at the Hilton Waikoloa resort.
We booked two suites for a family with 3 adult children, 5 guests in all. The suites were lovely-clean, well-appointed, and nicely furnished. Beds were very comfortable. Morning coffee on the balconies, looking out over the golf course (which seemed to be closed since we didn’t see any golfers) was a wonderful way to start our day. Because there were full kitchens in each suite, one day we had dinner in our suite. There are grills available for outdoor cooking and we enjoyed a casual home cooked meal with provisions from the nearby grocery store in Waikoloa Village. There are also two markets in the resort at the Kings Village and the Queens shops. My husband and I took morning walks in the resort which was a great way to start the day. There is a adult pool which was nice and not crowded. The children’s pool looked like a fun place. The front desk staff were wonderful and very helpful. Especially nice is that you can communicate with them via text. LaLa was especially helpful and kind. All 5 of us travel a lot and everyone agreed this was a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.…
As a diamond Hilton member, this is my first time staying at Hilton Vacation Club. However, I stayed at 10+ Marriott Vacation Club properties, so I am an experienced timeshare owner. I stayed in two bedroom premier room, and here's my review of the property: 1. King's Land has an interesting layout - the master bedroom is spacious and well appointed. The guest room is super tight and only appropriate for kids. The full kitchen was not well equipped (compared to Marriott properties). Bare minimum, and missing a few essential items. I would appreciate extra soaps, paper towels, shampoos, etc like Marriotts stocks in the room for their guests. 2. Hotel pools and amenities were quite limited. The main pool was small, and side pools were even smaller. Nothing exciting on the property. No sundry or marketplace to grab quick milk, water or soap. No towel machines or tower stands. You need to go to the main pool to grab fresh towels, which was inconvenient. 3. Shuttle to the Waikoloa village (Hilton) for a larger pool and amenities was NOT convenient and takes long. 4. Customer service is mediocre at best. I had no "aloha" spirit during my stay at Hilton. (for your reference point, I moved on to Westin and Marriott for the following two weeks in Maui. Plenty of aloha spirit there) Overall, I was not impressed with King's land.…
The condo unit was spacious with plenty of amenities. The outdoor pools, hot tubs, and patios were impressive. However, there were definite issues. The paperthin floor/ceiling meant noisy footsteps and random loud noises even during the night! The 2nd bedroom's windows are directly on the common outside hallway. At 6 am each morning, the cleaning crew would arrive to begin their shift and were not quiet, not at all respectful of the vacationers asleep inside the unit. The administration had no way to solve this :( Just plain wrong. From the first day, we saw small ants in the kitchen & 2 bathrooms. There was spraying midweek, but when we returned, the ants were still seen in the unit.
Pools are very nice however there is no beach access or view. Nice palm trees but at times you don’t even feel like you are in Hawaii. I won’t come back here. Also it’s quite boring . Good mainly for families and golfers.Disappointing because we came from East coast USA to visit. After Kingsland I went to Maui and wished I had spent more of my vacation there instead of Kingsland.
Unfortunately, had a flight delay, which led to a late arrival. We were all tired and very thirsty after a long flight and roughly 1 1/2 hour nice and easy ride to resort. There is six in our party and only two bottles of water In the fridge. Easy solution, right? Just go buy some water at the front desk or nearest vending machine. Not so easy! No vending machine and the response at the front desk was we don’t have water, but housekeeping will arrive in the morning. Hope I’m wrong about this place, just not impressed so far!
Check in was good. Building 21 was gross. Dirty, disrepair. Only hot water in laundry. Would not return to this facility. Needs repair and cleaned. Broken cabinet doors, elevator was filthy. Nice pool and fitness
Dried Urine Mattress!!!! There was dried urine on the mattress with a strong urine smell. The housekeeping put clean sheets and clean mattress pad on a dried up mattress for my children to sleep on. I didn’t notice until the second day when the sat on the bed. It took them over 30 minutes to get housekeeping to come and remove the mattress. At first they offered to give me a new mattress pad, and then they suggested we flip the mattress. After calling them repeatedly, they proceeded to not pick up my calls. I had to threaten to leave the mattress out in the halls for their other guests to see for them to do anything about it. Hilton obviously doesn’t care about the sanitary and health of their guests.
To whom it may concern, THE GOOD I recently returned from a Hilton Grand Vacations VIP Package at the Hilton Waikoloa Resort (reservation number 10-5350160). We stayed at the Kings’ Land property from July 14-17 and the Kohala Suites property from July 17-21. We were greeted with a warm Hawaiian welcome at Kings’ Land. The bellman, Koa was wonderful, he went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable. He always had a big smile and he greeted us by name every time we saw him. Our two bedroom condo was fantastic, it was spotless, had a great layout and the furnishings and decor were modern and bright. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the lanai overlooking the golf course every morning. The kitchen had new modern appliances and the television allowed us to stream all our favorite shows. The lobby area and hallways were spotless. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well as the condo was quiet and peaceful. The pool was beautiful, and we made use of it every day. We attended the Sales Presentation on Friday July 15th, it was informative and compelling, we were seriously considering purchasing a property but we needed a little more time to make our decision. The sales staff accommodated our request and we were to return on Monday July 18th.…
This was our second time visiting this property. Of all the places I've stayed around the world, Kings' Land is my absolute favorite. Staff are friendly and responsive. The resort is beautiful. The rooms are great: well stocked kitchen, beds are sooo comfortable and I quite like the heated toilet seat/bidet. The pools are so fun for the kids- lots to do at the big pool area with basketball, volleyball and waterslides. The small pools are close to the condo units and have water slides. I love that we have access to the Hilton Waikoloa Village, with free parking and use of the pool there.
